• BB (7/5): Super Lage, aber ausbaufähig... - Die Lage der Unterkunft ist fantastisch! Für den Preis hätten wir mehr erwartet! Liebloses Frühstück und das Zimmer hätte sauberer sein können. Es ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen und nicht sehr gut in Schuss. Es gibt zwar eine Dachterrassen mit tollem Blick über Palermo aber auch die könnte netter gestaltet sein.

• Kimberley Hearns (9/5): Perfect Palermo base - Everything! Perfect easy instructions to follow for access. We had the two bedroom room on the 4th floor, we didn't end up using the second bedroom as the main had a cot which was perfect for our toddler and the room was really spacious even with it in it. The seperate walk in wardrobe was great. It was good to have access to outdoor space on the terrace and Franca was such a lovely breakfast host. She was great with our little girl. Location is great, very central and has great restaurants very close to the accommodation. I liked the secure entry, the place felt very safe. The water pressure isn't great, but it's an old building so expected. I would have liked some.glasses in the room to use for drinks and a little more of a mix at breakfast, but overall I had a great stay and have no complaints.

We understand that it is difficult to provide a large selection during breakfast outside the tourist season, but breakfast in the morning was one of the main checkpoints why we choose your accommodation. The sink in the room was a little clogged - the water did not drain well.

Staff was super nice. Check in was easily guided by mobile. The integrted bathroom could be improved, we had an issue but it was solved instantly. The street can get noisy in the night but is not such a terrible feature.

• Sarah (10/5): Weekend Parfait à Palerme - L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Palerme et arriver par Bus de l'aéroport. La résidence est dans une rue tranquille (mais toujours en ville). Le petit dej sur la terrasse est un vrai plus. Nous avons pu laisser nos affaires avant que la chambre se libère et nous avons même reçu des conseils pour visiter la ville et restaurant. Un très bon séjour 😊 Rien ! Un peu de bruit du à un concert un peu tard dans la semaine ou des travaux un matin mais rien de trop tard ou trop tôt pour vraiment déranger.

• Jessica (4/5): Zu laut, zu teuer, Preisleistungsverhättnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. - Die Lage ist sehr gut, man kann alles In der Altstadt zu Fuß erreichen und es gibt viele tolle Bars und Restaurants um die Ecke. Die Dachterrasse ist bei schönem Wetter sehr schön, man kann auch dort frühstücken, wenn man die Hausdame darum bittet, was kein Problem war. Die Angestellte, die für das Frühstück und die Zimmer zuständig ist, ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit gewesen und hat sich mehrfach für alle Unannehmlichkeiten und Probleme, die dieses B&B offensichtlich aktuell hat, bei uns entschuldigt. Man kann hier nicht parken, doch es gibt in der Nähe private Garagen, wo man seinen Mietwagen sicher für 2-3 Tage für wenig Geld parken kann. Das B&B hatte uns ein paar empfohlen, von dem wir eine gewählt hatten - nur 500m entfernt. Wir hatten vorab bei Buchung per Email ca. 4 Wochen vorher gefragt, ob alle Beanstandungen, die in den jüngsten Bewertungen standen, mittlerweile gelöst sind. Leider war dies nicht der Fall: 1. Der Baulärm vom Haus nebenan ist unerträglich und begann morgens um 7 Uhr (!) mit lauten Geschrei der Bauarbeiter und es wurden Bauschutt und anderes laut durch die Schuttröhren geworfen. Die Fenster schließen sehr schlecht und sind hellhörig. So war es nicht denkbar, länger als 7 Uhr zu schlafen, auch mit Ohropax. (Siehe Bild durch die Jalousien erstellt, die Baustelle ist nicht mal 4-5 m vom Fenster entfernt) 2. Die Schlüsselbox, die unten im Hausflur im Hof war, ist kaputt, sodass jeder Bewohner mit Zugang zum Hinterhof sehr leicht mit dem Fahrstuhl hätte einfach das B&B zu jeder Zeit hätte betreten können. Wir hatten das bei Ankunft reklamiert und nach 2 Tagen war sie nicht repariert. Siehe Foto. 3. Bei Ankunft waren Frotteesachen mit Flecken, die sehr unappetitlich waren, in unserem Zimmer (diese wurden dann auf unsere Bitte hin ausgetauscht). 4. Das Frühstück ist zwar inbegriffen, allerdings gibt es weder guten Kaffee, noch frischem Obstsalat, frische Säfte oder einen guten Cappuccino, dafür muss man in eine Bar gehen. Die Auswahl an gutem Käse, Salami etc, findet man nicht. Lediglich die Cornetti waren einigermaßen gut. Im Vgl. zu anderen B&Bs in diesem Urlaub war das Frühstück das schlechteste. Es wirkte, als wolle man an allem sparen. 5. Wir hatten ein Viererzimmer im vierten Stock, von dem ein Doppelzimmer ganz hübsch war, allerdings mit Fenstern, die jedes Geräusch durchlassen, und ein Zimmer, das sehr einfach mit verdreckten Wänden (siehe Bild) war und ebenfalls nur schlecht abgedichtete Fenster. 6. Die Gardinenstangen war kaputt, bis Warmwasser kam, musste man schon sehr lange warten. Man muss unbedingt gute Ohropax oder Lärmstop mitbringen, wenn man hier 6-7 Stunden einigermaßen schlafen will.

De koffiemachine functioneerde zeer slecht tot ongenoegen van vele gasten. Er was geen vers brood. Het enige aanwezige brood was alleen geschikt om te toasten, alleen werkte de toaster zeer slecht. Zowel de toaster als het koffiezetapparaat waren geen professionele machines, maar aftandse apparaten voor huishoudelijk gebruik.

We walked everywhere and the apartment was in a quiet side street in the old town. The building had loads of character. The shower layout and noisy laundry area. It took a while to find the property. The details of entry to the apartment were sent on WhatsApp , which we didn’t realise.

Pero llegando con taxi o transporte público y no con coche privado como llegué yo. La habitación es grande y confortable. La forma de acceder a la habitación implica pasar por la puerta principal, coger luego unas llaves para el ascensor, pasar por otra puerta con llave que te lleva a un balcón interior al que se accede, a través de otra puerta, al distribuidor de las habitaciones. Para el desayuno hay que deshacer el camino y subir a la cuarta planta. El desayuno es correcto, nada destacable.

Breakfast simple but still a nice start to the day with the lovely lady in charge. The multiple keys are a bit of a pain but soon got used to them. Balcony was only very small and overlooked church with repair works ongoing. Air con ok but not the best.

• Hannah (6/5): Disappointing and not worth the price - Location was bang on. Easy walking distance to sights/restaurants/bars. Bed was also pretty comfortable. Aircon pretty good. I was a bit confused why the other reviews were so good once we arrived at this place. We didn’t mind the slightly elaborate way to arrive although it did make the hotel feel a bit like a ghost town. I was more disappointed that for the cost of this place, it was quite shabby (in an un-charming way). Parts of the rooms were left unfinished, some of our pillows had disintegrated into a collection of hard lumps, the towels were fraying. The toilet seat wasn’t fixed properly secured so slipped as you sat on it. And the cistern didn’t have a lid so if you stood too close to the toilet after flushing little drops spurted and fell on you. I’m also not sure what the fuss is about the breakfast which was very worse than average compared to our other stays in Italy (limited choice, ready made/packed/just heated up, bruised fruit). There’s also unfortunately some loud building work going on in the terrace next to our bedroom windows which is quite noisy drilling during the day if you wanted to chill in the room.

Very nice staff and super - Conveniently located in an area with little bars and restaurants and little shops and close to the main sights to visit. The building is very nice and well kept and the roof top a very nice addition. The breakfast was the really only downside of our stay. It’s was simply not good. Issues with the hot water in one of the showers which did not arrive.
• Alexandre (10/5): Amazing and authentic place to stay central to explore city! - Great location, size of the room worked for the time we were there, great terrace for morning breakfast, staff very pleasant and helpful. We were only there for 2 days and the location help us to easily by walk to see the major attractions. A lot of doors to open and unlock with a big set of keys given to us, not easy when you have to move suitcases at the same time. But over all, it all worked.
• Trishb1 (9/5): Fantastic central location - The location of Dimora Sinibaldi was perfect and so easy to access all the sights of Palermo. Our host, Erica, was incredibly helpful, sending comprehensive check in details prior to arrival including a video of how to access the building. She also assisted with information about travel to local points of interest and booked a taxi to the station for us on departure. Breakfast each morning on the rooftop terrace was a highlight. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was quite small but manageable.

• Patcharamai (7/5): It’s B&B not hotel - We are a family of 3 staying in 2 bedrooms apartment for 2 nights . We were comfortable with room as it was clean even though it was small . The check-in and how to get to the property was complicated but luckily we did it . The maid ( who prepared the breakfast ) speaks Italian only , so it was quite difficult to communicate with her . End up with Google translate though . Overall , we were happy and enjoyed the place as it was in a quiet street and easy to get around . Do not expect the hotel service . It was bed and breakfast . The check in process and how to get the key is complicated . The breakfast time was 8.30 - a little too late for morning person like us .
• Jack (9/5): A peaceful retreat in the heart of Palermo - We stayed in the Queen room, Sibilla, and would definitely recommend it. We booked last minute and arrived within 10 mins of booking online. This meant staff had almost no time to prepare for us. But they adapted very well and were very patient in communicating with us. We arrived to a beautifully clean, fresh-smelling, and characterful room and had restful sleep in a comfortable bed with clean linen sheets. The room was on an inner courtyard away from the bustle of Palermo and was very quiet and peaceful despite the hotel’s very central location near cool bars and restaurants. We loved that we could walk right out into the heart of Palermo but could easily shut out the noise of the city when we needed some peace. The bathroom was clean and modern and came equipped with good-quality towels and a good-quality shower. The hotel also has an amazing roof terrace with views across Palermo. The roof terrace is amazing but the hotel could probably make more of it by adding some furniture so people can relax up there while taking in the views.
• Laura (9/5): Excellent location - central to everything, yet quiet and tucked away. - Perfect location for us right in the centre but tucked just away so it is quiet. Friendly communication, amazing rooftop views and delicious baked goods the morning as part of breakfast. Would definitely recommend! The keys and building acesss were a little bit to figure out but the video sent by the host was very helpful. The communication ahead of our stay was a bit slow but while we were there it was very responsive. And a picky thing: we do not like scented products and the washing machine running in the common area had a very strong dryer sheet smell. We’re used to a largely scent free country though so it may just be us.

The location in old town was perfect for sightseeing yet quiet. Neighbors in the palazzo were friendly. Nothing really.
• Joanne (10/5): Unique, stylish, and clean property - The 3 level roof terrace has lovely views that we did not use very much because we were travelling during a cooler period. We used the breakfast room which was comfortable and well organized. Lots of food offered for breakfast even lactose free yogourt and milk alternatives. The shower was good, bed comfortable, and plenty of towels. The robes and USB charging ports next to the bed are a nice touch. Our host was easy to communicate with and pleasant. The location is perfect, close to all the sights, restaurants, and bars but still quiet to sleep at night. The elevator to reach our room on the 3rd floor worked well. Because of the uniqueness of this property we had 4 keys (one is for the elevator) and multiple doors to access our room. This was a small inconvenience considering we were staying in a historic building. The shining star of Dimora Sinibaldi is Franca who looks after breakfast and does some other duties. Franca is exceptionally kind, cheerful, helpful, and it was a pleasure to see her every morning.
• Erich (10/5): This is the place for a perfect stay in Palermo. - Perfect location in the heart of Palermo with a lot of buzzing bars and great restaurants nearby. Our room was absolutely lovely and the views from terrace on the same floor over the roofs of the city are just amazing. The host is a wonderful person and provided us with great recommendations for Palermo that were all on the point. We enjoyed the warmth of their family-like service - which also includes a tasty breakfast - to the fullest. Thank you very much for an unforgettable experience.
