• Marjut (10/5): Hyvin onnistunut loma ja majoituksessa muutoin kaikki sujui hyvin. - Todella siisti ja mukava majoitus. Sijainti oli hyvä, keskellä vanhaa kaupunkia. Hyvä aamupala läheisessä hotelllissa. Pienenä miinuksena palatsin kellot soivat aamuisin todella aikaisin, 7-8 aikaan ja kellot olivat melko voimakkaat.
• Sen-jung (9/5): Perfect location for visiting the old town. - The location is very convenient to all the activities. It saved you lots of time. We also like the breakfast provided by the apartment arrangement. Since it is within the old town, the building is kind of old.

• Koen (10/5): Fantastisch! - De locatie is prachtig en het is een fijn appartement. Lekker dicht bij de zee en alles was zeer toegankelijk. Het ontbijt van een nabijgelegen restaurant was een bonuspunt. Communicatie met de host was ook erg prettig.

• Noreen (9/5): Very comfortable and lovely decor. - The location was great for us as we did not have a car. It is situated in the old town of Split. It is within walking distance to what we wanted to see. We had everything we needed for a comfortable 2 night stay.

• ROBERTA (8/5): I recommend this property - The property is in a great location, very central. I liked the style and attention to details. The breakfast at the cafe Luxor was nice. Nothing bad to report, maybe just needed some breakfast tea included in the available selection.
• Dominik (9/5): In the heart of Split's Old Town - - amazing host, responsive, supportive, providing hints on where to eat etc. - breakfast included in the price - location - in the heart of the city (within Diocletian's Palace walls) - plenty of space, with all that you need (cups, cutlery, tea, coffee, sugar, etc.) - unfortunately, as for lot of the old towns we've visited, there's some smell from the sewer system getting in through the drains

You can’t beat the property location, close to all the sites. Included breakfast from partner restaurant was more than expected. Property was nicely decorated.

• Yi (8/5): - Location is good, on the edge of the old town. Walking from the catamaran port is about 800 meters / 12 mins. Uber to airport is about 35 mins / 29 euros. The apartment is quite spacious. Breakfast provided is in a cafe next to (actually inside) the palace. Sound proof is not very good, at night there are noises from people on the street or neighbours. When taking an uber, there are only a few pick up location available for uber around the old town, so you will have to walk for a few minutes to the pickup location.
• BrianTravels60 (9/5): Charming apartment on the edge of the old town - Fantastic location in the old town, close to everything. The property had lots of historic charm and a kitchen. It is not easy to drop off your luggage if you have a rental car. It's best to park away from the old town and take an Uber to the apartment.

• BANU (10/5): Best location with a very confortable apartment - Location could not be any better. Super clean and spacious apartment, the bed and the pillows were very comfortable. AC functioned very well if needed. The place where we gd our breakfast « Lvxor » was a super nice cafe&restaurant. You have a set up breakfast that you can choose from three options. . If i go to Split again, i would stay in this place again. Cant complain about anything. Everything was super good and in order.

The location is in the Old Palace itself, near the pier ( if you plan to visit the Islands), bus terminal (FLIXbus, Airport Service bus), restaurants, and grocery store(Spar). Everything is good.
• Walter (9/5): Perfect location to enjoy the old town of Split - The flat is very comfortable and the location inside the old city (inside Diocletain's Palace) is absoultely amazing and wonderful for exploring Split before or after most tourists are around.
• Lee (9/5): Great location in Ancient Split. Super comfortable, central and value for money comparably. - What a beautiful large apartment located 100m from the historic heart of Split. We were so close to everything, yet it was very quiet. There was a 2 flights of stairs to climb, but the elevation made for lovely breezes and got us off the street. With a separate kitchen and dinette, and a large bedroom with sitting area there was plenty of room for relaxing and our luggage. The instructions to get there and find the lockbox were very clear and our host was helpful, although we never met. Pansion Danica was quite good value for money considering the location and other comparable accommodations. We got vouchers for breakfast at the trendy Cafe Luxor right on the square in Ancient Split. We also got onto a great $20 Euro tour here in the square. Look for the friendly lady in bright yellow spruking tours. well worth the money. Our guide was so informative and knowledgeable and it runs a few times a day!

Easy to find and very clear and excellent communication. Inside it has very unique and cosy style with all amenities you would want. We would love to come and book this again as we had an awesome time in Split and our stay in Porta Orientalis was a key factor. Nothing. There were no hidden nasty surprises that sometimes come with older properties as everything was brilliantly maintained and all amenities very modern!

• Heather (10/5): Romantic luxury apartment in Diocletian's palace. - Fabulous hotel standard apartment. Very convenient for public transport. Equipped with everything travellers need but don't want to carry. Quietly located in the heart of Diocletian's palace. Breakfast provided in luxurious restaurant on the Peristil. Stairs up to the apartment would be tricky if carrying a lot of luggage or visitors have mobility difficulties.
• Jodi-ann (10/5): The perfect stay ! - Perfect location just inside the palace walls. Wasn’t find. We equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and great shower. Great soundproofing. The host took wonderful care to give detailed instructions how to access the property and was available if I had any problems. Perfect location for breakfast very nearby.
• Douglas (10/5): Super-convenient and comfortable apartment in Diocletian's Palace - We loved our stay here, and the hospitality of the hosts. It was an easy walk to the Riva promenade, but in a much quieter location. Our stay included a voucher for a wonderful breakfast at a restaurant nearby. There's also a convenient Tommy grocery market next to the farmer's market stalls, and we also brought back a wonderful pizza one night from Pizzeria Portas, a short walk away. There are some steps up from the street-level to the first-floor entrance, and then some additional steps to the second floor, where the apartment is, but we had no problems, and really felt like locals while staying here. Just be aware that there are some steps up to the apartment. There is no view of the water (just like most of the apartments built into Diocletian's Palace), but we really loved feeling like we were a part of history when staying here.

• Benjamin (10/5): Perfectly located apartment in Split Old Town - This apartment was definitely one of the best that we have booked on booking.com. The location is perfect for Split and particularly the old town. Everything to see is within walking distance. The apartment has everything you need for a short or long stay. The breakfast was also a nice surprise, we knew it was included but expected it to be a bit basic (from experience with other bookings). We could pick from 3 options every morning with a coffee and orange juice which gave enough variety every morning and was one less thing to worry about each morning. The host (Karlo) was also very helpful he met us in Split after our late flight to take us to the apartment and was very clear with instructions. He also gave us recommendations on where to visit and eat out. And was easily contactable via WhatsApp during our trip. Nothing major that we can think of. The only thing we couldn't find in the apartment was an ironing board but that was a minor thing.
• Anuradha (10/5): Excellent location and property in Split - The location of this property was excellent. We were right next to Diocletian's palace and the old town. Karlo met us near the property on the night we arrived and helped us with our luggage through the narrow streets and up the stairs. The room was spacious with the comfiest bed we have slept on in a long time! The breakfast place was very close as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in Split :)

• Fernando (10/5): Great place to stay in Split - The location inside Diocletian Palace walls, 100 meters from the Peristile square is great. The room is nicely decorated, and has a reception area with a small kitchen. The breakfast is quite good, and it is served in one of the most cellebrated bars in town. The owner is helpful and kind.. Best place to stay in Split if you do not mind steps. The room is locsted on a 2nd floor only reached by stairs.. Not a problem for us, but it is not for everybody..

Very clean and comfortable accommodation with good breakfast provided at Luxor restaurant. Plenty of suggestions for eating out provided and Karlo is very friendly and available should there be any problems.

He recommended us awesome local restaurants, and tried his best to answer our questions during the stay. It’s a cozy apartment with proper facilities to fulfill travelers’ needs.
