Guest Reviews
- Mike (8/5): Great location for business stays - The property was very nice and comfortable. The bed was a murphy bed as others stated, but was super soft and comfortable. If you have more than 2 people, this could be a comfort challenge. Parking was pretty ample in the area.
There was a trolley stop about 4 minutes walk from the place and it took only 25 minutes to get to the city center.
I think the area is undergoing some renewal, but keep in mind that if you are a sensitive traveler, this may not be for you. It's great for business travel but not where I would stay if I were on vacation. I received a message that the front door was not locked. It started with "Listen, when you leave the house..." and then they texted me accidentally that "another one left the door unlocked..." which was intended for someone else. This tells me that there are clearly problems with the way they have provided directions and the type of lock. I have stayed at other AirBnB's and all you have to do is push the button, but they had a set of procedures he sent me that turned out to be inaccurate.
So if you stay here, you have to push the large oval button on the keypad, wait, and then turn the lock to engage the deadbolt.
But the tone of this was really not all that great. I think that when so many people have had problems, it is time for a more intuitive door lock, not get frustrated with those of us who are doing our best to secure the door.
- Elliot (9/5): Superb - Very clean and organized inside I enjoyed it. The welcome guide with attractions and local foods, gyms, etc. was helpful.
- Ethan (9/5): Superb -
- Amanda (3/5): Be careful with groups of people, there is only one double bed - We made a reservation for 4 people because the ad said it had 2 double beds and a single bed! When we got there we were surprised by the neighborhood, it was very dangerous, full of trash and ugly. In addition, there is no parking, you have to look for it on the street and we were afraid because the neighborhood is like that and something would happen to our rental car and the biggest mistake, in reality it is just a double bed, a double INFLATABLE MATTRESS and the single bed is a hard broken sofa... The staff welcomed us well and everything was clean, but we had to sleep on the sofa that I didn't even want a sofa bed, because there weren't enough beds.
- Gary (10/5): Charming stay! - Great place! Looking forward to staying again.
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and good location Shower temp could have been hotter.
- Lynn (10/5): The apartment was beautiful, exceptionally clean, coffee and tea as well as oils pots/pans available as we cooked. W - Wonderful immaculately clean welcoming apt- responsive and generous host willing to help us as family member post hospitalization. N/A
- Daryl (10/5): Great studio for nearby Philly activities. Nice weekend getaway! - On the first/lower floor, spacious and one level especially to bring in our road bikes as we participated in the Philly Bike Ride. Loved the decor and coziness yet modern with large TVs. If we chose to cook, full out kitchen was great but we wanted to partake in the great food places that Philly offers. Even the late evening arrival, walking to the Chinese take out on the corner was great-good portions and taste for the money! Appreciated the water and coffee/hot coco/tea. Although not a decaf coffee drinker it was still good. Nothing everything was great!
