• Rolf (10/5): - Very well built cabins, ultraclean, with a sliding door to a semi-open bathroom with toilet, urinal and good hot shower. All very tastefully designed on a quiet road. They have 2 cabins, with 2 more nearly ready. Good bed with mosquito net; very tall people may find the bed a little short. The new cabins will have twin configuration instead of a double. Wifi is working. Super friendly family, and they can organise trips. Good breakfast (pancake, bread, fruit, juice, coffee, tea). Simple meals provided if you ask in advance (nasi goreng and mie goreng, each 150 k). They are working on a small restaurant. You could also walk 20 minutes to the Ecolodge for a meal or 25 minutes to the 'centre' of Moni for multiple options. Certainly recommended. ---
• Linda (9/5): Dankzij de vriendelijke mensen ons meest favoriete plekje tot nu toe! - Wat een heerlijke mooie plek is dit. De eigenaar doet er alles aan om het je er naar je zin te maken. Hij heeft ons ook als gids de omgeving laten zien. Het eten was voortreffelijk, home made original Indonesian food. Omgeving heerlijk rustig en midden in het leven van de bevolking zelf

• Hans-Ulrich (9/5): We enjoyed our stay very much ! - Two wonderful villas on a small property. Very much privacy. Accommodating four guests only. Close proximity to Kelimutu volcano. Also Koka beach can be visited by a little more than one hour drive. The staff was always very friendly and helpful.

• Frank (8/5): Overall, a very clean place with new facilities, but with some service and comfort drawbacks. For this reason, we unfort - We stayed one night at Villa Marcellinus, and the little hut we booked was exceptionally clean — truly spotless — with everything looking new. The bedding was crisp and bright white, and the towels were the same. The bathroom was nicely designed and offered all the comfort we needed. However, the hut is quite small and pointed in shape, with the bed placed in the center. Taller guests may find it difficult to walk upright around the sides. Storage space was also very limited. The staff were friendly and tried their best, but spoke almost no English and seemed not very well trained. As an example: after returning from an early morning trip and going back to sleep, construction work started right next to our room — even though it was low season and could easily have been scheduled after our checkout. This showed a lack of understanding of guest needs.

• Nicole (9/5): Sehr schön 🥰 - Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft kurz vor dem Vulkan (Fahrtzeit Roller ca. 30 Minuten). Ethi hat uns sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen. Wir haben von Ethi ein sehr leckeres Abendessen bekommen und haben uns wohl gefühlt. -

• Fabrice (7/5): - Un bungalow superbe mais WIFI inexistant et eau chaude au compte goutte. Loin de tout. Y arriver l'après-midi. Prendre ses jambes à deux pieds et aller manger à Modi's situé à deux kilomètres
• FABIENNE (5/5): - Chambre confortable. Petit déjeuner correct. Pas d'internet. Pas de point d'eau fraîche qui fonctionne. Chambre étouffante dans la journée compte tenu du toit en plastique. Pas de dîner sur place et à 2kms de la ville (dénivelé). Préférable d'avoir son moyen de transport Personnel absent à partir de 17 h. Pas d'eau chaude pour nous le matin. Bruit de la route. Beaucoup trop cher ! ...La note s'allonge avec la sortie au Kelimutu organisée par le propriétaire. Sentiment d'être pris au piège une fois sur place !!

• Bianca (9/5): Prachtig bungalow op mooi locatie - Het prachtige nieuwe huisje met heerlijk bed en mooie deels buiten badkamer. De omgeving is heel mooi en landelijk en nog authentiek. De eerste avond heeft Itta gekookt en dat was heerlijk en makkelijk. Ik hoefde niet in het donker naar Moni te lopen (ongeveer 20 minuten). Ook het ontbijt was lekker. Lexy, de eigenaar biedt tours en taxiservice aan en is erg behulpzaam. Ik heb de tour naar Kelimutu gedaan met Lexy en dat was erg mooi. Absoluut een aanrader! Er was nog geen wifi (daar wordt aan gewerkt) en een eetgelegenheid bij de accomodatie zou fijn zijn want de route naar Moni is erg donker.

• Marc-Antoine (9/5): Jolis cabanons - Cabanons de charme situés en périphérie de Moni. Ils sont bien équipés et décorés ce qui leur donne un côté classe. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le staff. Le jardin est bien arboré et agréable pour prendre le petit déjeuner Lors de notre séjour des voisins ont mis de la musique très fort toute une journée et une partie de la nuit. La lessive était un peu chère par rapport à d’autres établissements
• Mélanie (8/5): - Il s’agit de la meilleure option dans les environs. Le propriétaire nous a aidé pour la route qui était bloquée mais dommage qu’il ne soit pas plus présent. Trop cher pour le pays. Trop chaud dans la chambre.

• JAVIER (6/5): SOLO SI VAS CON TU VEHÍCULO - La cabaña en sí es muy bonita y está decorada con gusto. El personal es amable y el desayuno ha estado correcto aunque ningún día hemos podido comer pan caliente Está alejado y no lo recomiendo si no llevas transporte propio. Llovió y estuvimos sin luz más de medio día perdidos en una carretera, sin poder hacer nada, y sin que hubiera velas, linternas ni nada similar
• GRITTI (8/5): We enjoyed it and we felt welcome and well taken care of! - Nice and kind, a small garden, neat and nice, with two “villas” and a small common place outside to eat. Eti, the girl/lady in charge if receiving the guests, is super nice and kind, she prepared hips of vegan dishes fir my wife, so if you have any special requirements, let the Villa know what you want, they will accommodate it. Same, if you need a driver/guide to bring you around, ask the Villa for help, they’ll find him! Nice experience! Thank you to the staff, especially to Eti! 🙏
• Erik (10/5): Mooi afeervol nieuwe huisjes - Prachtig nieuwe huisjes. Zijn er 2. Heerlijk bed mooie buitendouche. Moderne toilet. Super lieve host. Eighty and Iggy haar man! We kwamen door vertraging laat aan 21.30 dat was geen probleem. En ondanks dat er geen restaurant is hebben ze toch friedrice met ei voor ons gemaakt Buiten dorp maat geen probleem als je met een chauffeur bent en komt voor de Kelikutu lakes

• Mallory (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing!!! Our first hot shower in a few days!!!Absolutely adorable property and there are just 2 villas so it’s very quiet and serene. Just outside of town with a beautiful drive to it (1/2 a mile or like 2min drive). The staff were incredible! They let us use their family clothes drying line for drying our clothes and breakfast is normally just bread but I have a gluten allergy so they made me rice and eggs instead. And the coffee is so good! They have great amenities like coffee and tea in the rooms, a candle, nice soap and shampoo, and a beautiful bathroom. Bug nets in the room if you like those. And the beds were very comfortable and the villas so nicely built. Really great lighting even and a beautiful garden. The street gets some traffic during the day but is so quiet at night. Loved everything about this place and would stay again!

• Darren (10/5): Exceptional - - The owner was really helpful before we arrived in Flores and arranged for a private transfer from Bajawa to Moni and to Ende the next day. They also arranged for a walking tour of Kelimutu NP and surrounding villages. I’d recommend booking the walking tour as we got a local guide (Francisco) who went us to the volcano, talked to us about the history and kept us patient to wait until the clouds cleared to see the lakes. Lots of people had left the summit as they were frustrated with the clouds but the local guide assured us that it would clear (and it did!) - New property and really modern interior. Unique experience for the area. The bathroom in particularl is really well designed. - Tasty breakfast and looked after us once we came back from Kelimutu which was late morning which was really appreciated. - Room was great but would recommend the owner consider a fan/AC in the room as temperature can get a little warm.
