- Mircea (7/5): - Quiet area (the constructions will stop soon), only locals around, 10 minutes by foot to the direct line to the city or airport, 15-20 minutes by foot to many of the main attractions.
Nicely furnished, spacious, sunny, with solid blinds if needed.
Very nice and helpful landlady - if there, we only met her once.
The room was extremely clean upon arrival! Bring socks or slippers, in Portugal floors are almost always tiles and cold, even in summer!
The shower sometimes didn’t have enough warm water for two, very few plugs, already occupied or inconveniently placed - extension cords would help!
We didn’t receive any information about the check in whatsoever, we stumbled into it, couldn’t reach anyone over booking dm, but on the phone, and then they were helpful.
Within 10 days the room has been cleaned once, after two days, then not anymore. A clean towel after another few days would have been nice.
Also a kettle would be helpful - just a suggestion - since it gets so chilly from the cold tiles :)

Although it was only 20 min to city center but it was uphill so i needed to take uber. Howeverm this is not a big advantage as the home itself was really good

Os Hosts ajudaram-nos muito e foram super prestáveis.
O ar condicionado foi uma mais valia para combater o frio! Apesar de ser uma zona muito calma e sossegada (bom para descansar), poderia ter mais movimento para dar mais segurança aos turistas, mas não é culpa dos Hosts :) Estes foram espetaculares connosco.

No es un hotel como se suponía cuando lo contratamos, es un Airbnb, puro y duro. No hay nadie para recibir. El teléfono de contacto no existía y tuvimos que enviarle un correo que contestó cuando pudo...? No hay servicio de limpieza diaria, a mitad de la estancia una señora que apareció por allí y la pillamos, nos ofreció limpiarnos la habitación y nos cambió las toallas.

- garatemikel (5/5): Atención al cliente - Limpio y nuevo. Olá, Luís! Al llegar, dudamos si era la ubicación correcta. Dado que no figura el nombre ni nada parecido, únicamente el símbolo "AL". En el número 74 hay un puerta como de garaje, y al lado ell 76, una puerta normal de vivienda. Llamamos varias veces al teléfono de contacto (por llamada y WhatsApp). No tenemos respuesta. Escribimos un whatsapp. Recibimos escueta respuesta: "Gracias por el mensaje. Puedes insertar 3030 en el cofre de la entrada". No encontramos nada en la dirección que se indica, el 74. Observamos que en la puerta 76, hay una caja, probamos el código facilitado, pero no conseguimos abrirlo. Llamamos nuevamente un par de veces, enviamos una foto de la puerta, para confirmar que estamos en el lugar correcto. Finalmente, observamos que para abrir la cajita, hay que pulsar en los botones de ambos laterales. En ella, hay dos llaves, de 2 habitaciones. Tampoco recibimos indicaciones de cual es nuestra habitación, ni si podemos escoger la que queramos. Han pasado 4 días, y aún no hemos tenido respuesta, ni llamada ni WhatsApp. Creemos que se podría gestionar y comunicar mejor. Y teniendo en cuenta la calidad-precio, u otras opciones, es algo caro. Obrigados/as!
- Pedro (1/5): Falta de respeito pelos hóspedes - Não tenho nada a dizer de bom referente ao alojamento. Dois dias antes de chegar ao alojamento enviei email para o alojamento a fazer algumas perguntas, tais como , quem estaria no alojamento para fazer o check-in e outras perguntas banais.
Não recebi qualquer resposta, no dia seguinte tentei contactar o alojamento por telemóvel e o mesmo estava desligado, contactei a linha de apoio do Booking e foi enviado um email com o meu conhecimento, voltámos a não obter resposta.
No dia de chegada 16h30, claro os meus receios estavam certos, não estava ninguém para nos receber e sem qualquer informação .
Liguei para o Booking e informei o sucedido. Fui sempre muito bem atendido pelo Booking mas o meu problema mantinha-se, não tinha onde dormir. Por volta das 17h30, alguém do alojamento enviou um email com a informação que eu tinha solicitado 3 dias antes.Sem comentários

- Heldemar (7/5): Achei um espaço aconchegante e muito tranquilo e relaxante - Gostamos da proximidade em relação ao campo do Porto, pois foi objetivo da nossa visita ao porto.
Localidade e ambiente muito tranquilo, quarto espaço. Não gostamos de algumas coisas que estavam em falta no quarto, o secador não funcionava e o quarto de banho não havia um tapete ou algo do género para não ter que molhar quarto ao sair do banho, entre outras coisas relacionadas ao banheiro

Unfortunately you did destroy all my plans and movement yesterday day by approving for me Pinheiro Cardoso Guest House in Porto, Portugal to book for one night.
I am very much disappointed and I want you to refund to me money 68.85 euros plus 11 euros my taxi fares immediately.
Because I got to Pinheiro Cardoso at 1:50pm yesterday and called 00351 931390798 and a man responded and told me the room would be ready by 3pm. And so I told him I wanted a place to keep my luggage because I have a new in town.
He then gave a code to a safe at the entrance of the building and to pick up a key to my room and leave my luggage in my which was very dirty.
And I left my luggage in the room number one which my room and I called him before leaving the apartment. He then told me to keep the keys because they have a spare key which they will use to come and clean the room. Therefore, I thanked him and left thinking by the time I returned the room will be clean and ready for me to use.
Unfortunately I returned after 8pm to see my room unclean and as dirty as it was.
And so, I called him 11 times and he didn’t respond, and on the 12 time around 9:01pm he switched off the mobile phone which landed me into a panic.
As a result I decided to look for another hotel to check in and sleep at that very late hour.
Therefore I closed the door and put back the keys of room number one in the safe and left.
By God’s grace I got Hotel Christo Rei which I booked directly and passed the night there.
I have a video and pictures of the room as dirty as it was yesterday and I do not want to damage your reputation or cause you any harm to booking.com because I am a pastor and I’ve been booking with for a long time without getting any problems. This is the first time.
And so, just refund my money 68.85+11:00=79.85€ amicably and please clean your system of operation and deali Dear sir / madam, (Booking.com customer service),

- Marcus (5/5): War im großen und ganzen in Ordnung - Sie ist fußläufig zum Centrum und Bus Station leicht erreichbar Magere Ausstattung 0 Service in punkto Reinigung oder frischer Handtücher. Handtücher waren mit Flecken schon bei Ankunft versehen!

Non vicina al centro ma, comunque raggiungibile anche a piedi in mezz’ora Seppure ho chiamato diverse volte il numero segnalato da Booking, non mi è stato mai risposto.
La stanza non è mai stata pulita in6 giorni e, seppure abbiamo mandato un messaggio, ci hanno lasciato gli stessi asciugamani per tutta la settimana: uno di questi era sporco.

- Ana V (6/5): - La habitación esta muy bien, pero falta indicar que tipo de alojamiento es. Pone parking gratis, y no es lo mismo que estar en una zona donde es fácil aparcar. La calle donde esta situada es una zona humilde de una ciudad que no conoces!!
Resulta caro porque hay hoteles en la zona a precios parecidos. La zona donde esta ubicada
- Diogo (1/5): Má estadia - Ao chegar ao lugar para fazer o check-in estive cerca de 20 minutos, já de noite, à espera sem qualquer resposta.
Quando cheguei ao quarto reparei que não tinha sido efetuada qualquer limpeza, tendo sido os lençóis de cama e toalhas de banho utilizados e deixados como tal.
