Which included 2 double bed rooms with living room and kitchen Hot water geezer needs to be rested for some time once used and unable to use immediately and expect hot water.

• Md. Shahnewaz (9/5): - Bernard, the manager, is very friendly, helpful, and understanding. He allowed us to use the kitchen and cook food. Please double check with the owner on the dates and price. I personally called him, texted him, and got the confirmation of 2 rooms for 3 nights. But still he cancelled one after 2 days. We had to manage in one suite. I explained the whole details of our members. But somehow he made a mess. So, better double check with him before you go there.

El apartamento tiene un mantenimiento muy deficiente, el agua caliente no funcionaba y aunque es agosto hace muchísimo frío. Sólo hay un pequeño calefactor en una de las habitaciones. Tiramos un colchón en el suelo de la habitación y dormimos todos juntos, yo no me quité la chaqueta La limpieza era peor de lo que nadie se puede imaginar, había colillas de otros huéspedes en el pollete de la ventana del lavabo y la cocina daba cosa tocar nada. No soy muy exigente pero este supera lo imaginable.

Whether you're traveling with family or enjoying a romantic getaway, this place offers a perfect blend of comfort and hospitality. **Noise Levels**: One of the most significant drawbacks was the loud noise from parties that went on until past midnight. This was particularly challenging for our family, as we had a 2-year-old and elderly grandparents with us. It made it difficult for everyone to get a good night's sleep. **Inadequate Amenities**: In one of the apartments, we found a lack of a fridge, which was quite inconvenient. Having basic kitchen amenities is crucial, especially for families requiring easy access to food storage. **Cleanliness Issues**: We encountered dirty bedsheets in one of the rooms, which is simply unacceptable. Additionally, the sofa and carpets appeared unclean, detracting from the overall comfort of the space. **Aged Decor**: The decor felt very dated, and the walls and paint were in need of a refresh. This made the atmosphere feel less inviting and more neglected than one would hope for in a holiday rental. **Temperature Control**: The rooms were quite cold and smelled super musty, with noticeable gaps between the windows and doors that allowed drafts to enter. This made it uncomfortable, especially during the chilly nights in Nuwara Eliya. **Hot Water Supply**: Lastly, we faced issues with the hot water supply, as the water ran cold during showers. This was quite disappointing and inconvenient, particularly when traveling with young children and elderly family members. In summary, while Royal Apartments has potential due to its location, the noise, cleanliness, decor, and maintenance issues significantly impacted our stay. I hope management sorts this out for future guests.

• Inshaf (7/5): Overall, nothing much to complain, Good caretaker, good food. - The view was nice. The caretaker extremely nice, friendly and supportive. Food was great. Heating should be way better. Building seems a bit neglected. Water dripping in through the roof etc

The heater wasn't sufficient for two rooms and hot water wasn't available for a majority of our stay. Hot water is definitely essential for a cold climate in the area. Hope it gets fixed.

Everything felt kind of worn out. - On the bright side, the host (not the owner, just the person working there) was polite and genuinely tried to help us out. We asked for a $30 discount since we stayed three nights, but the owner only approved $10 off. Well, definitely not the best place I’ve stayed at. Everything felt kind of worn out. Right after we arrived, we ran into a couple of issues—first of all, there was no warm running water, so we had to go shower in the room next door. Then the kitchen pipe broke while we were doing the dishes and flooded the whole floor… and that actually happened twice.

• Tilak (3/5): A Cold Stay in a Cold city - The view is good. The furniture was sufficient. There were several balconies. A microwave and a kettle were there. On Booking.com the place was named "The Royal ApApartments. Yet the google navigation directed us to several wrong places. When telephoned, the owner said, his place is "Red Crystal". Being unable to find the place when I telephoned him again, he sent me his location, gps navigation led me to another wrong place. So, in the dark of the night in misty, rainy weather we were roaming everywhere. There was no caretaker or the owner to guide us to the kitchen, which was to be raeched from outside. So we had to go out in the rain to the kitchen cook. As per the Booking.com, the appartment has the cooking facilities. In most of the other appartements a kkitchenette is available, as a frequent traveller I know. Further, the owner emphatically said hot water is available but the water in the bathroom was ever cold and all my family members got sick as a result. The owner said when the tap is on for about 10 minutes the water will be hot. But it was a fallacy. Only one bathroom for both rooms. Only one TV for the entire appartment. Only the bedrooms were carpetted and the living area floor was cold. Only one heater was available (in one bedroom) There were no plug points for the lamps available. No proper blankets were there. Only a thin covering with double layered sheets.

• Sydney (10/5): A memorable stay at an exceptional apartment. - Returned to the same facility under a new management after about 7 years, which offered upgraded facilities and more comfort. The most notable highlight was the housekeeper- Mr.Wasantha. With a very welcoming attitude, kind personality and an exceptional food preparation ability, He and the owner were hospitable to make our stay very pleasant. Nothing to comment.

• Martin (7/5): Not for me - Host was super friendly and helpful. A little outside of town, and not used often. Apartment had a musty smell and needed a better clean and airing. Wifi was a bit ropey and needed to walk outside for any connection.
• Nalaka (8/5): Very good - I liked food and the food options given. Staff was so flexible on the menu. They prepared special meals for kids as well. Each apartment got nice living areas inside and outside. Balconies gave xcellent views and nice gathering experience for friends and families. Overall support and response that time from staff (Wasantha) was exceptionally good. I didnt like the parkng facility. Space was enough only for 2 cars and luckily it was just 50% occupancy on that day. Bathroom amenities and hotwater supply needs to be repaired. Access road is not well surfaced but it was just a matter of 50-75 meters from the highway.

• Jailam (10/5): me and my freinds styed in this hotel for 2 night 3 day. it was one of the best 3 days we spent in srilanka. our Vasanth - marvelously beautiful hotel with great view and peace at mind. every day you will wake up for the sound of birds singing and the sun smiling at you. it was too good and beautiful that you have no complaints

• Mohamed (1/5): Started our stay with a positive mindset and ended up with disappointing stay - Location and chef This property is not worth for the money that we paid. no basic stuffs were available such as towel, toiletries and cheap tv. food Menu was not given. when we ordered the breakfast on our own choice the chef was kind enough to cook it for us however the owner charged a high amount for a small quantity of food which was very disappointing. when we try to negotiate the price the owner started arguing with us. didn’t respect their customers. and when we complained about our stay he was trying blame us for no reason.
