• Helena (9/5): Voi suositella! - Vieraanvarainen, tuttavallinen ja palvelualtis henkilökunta loi tervetulleen tunnelman. Aamupala oli runsas ja joka aamu erilainen herkullinen kakku komeili lisukkeena. Saimme kätevästi ostaa eväsleivät hiihtoretkelle. Saunassa oli joka ilta hyvät löylyt. Pihan kodassa oli mukava kota, jossa grillasimme. Majapaikka on sopivan etäisyyden päässä laduilta, lasketteluhisseiltä ja kaupoilta.

• Annalisa (7/5): Unica opzione leggermente più economica in zona - Ottima colazione dolce e salata, la presenza di un piccolo bar alla reception e la cucina in comune con un contenitore a camera in frigo. Buona posizione e ampio parcheggio disponibile La situazione doccia è insostenibile. La zona doccia è condivisa con la sauna, per cui ci si può accedere solo su "prenotazione" in reception. Non il massimo dover aspettare fino a mezzanotte per lavarsi dopo una giornata di sport. La struttura è piuttosto vecchia, le pareti sottilissime (disclaimer!! Si possono chiedere tappi per le orecchie in reception!) e entra molta luce dalla finestra e non c'è possibilità di oscurarla completamente. Il gocciolio del riscaldamento davvero fastidioso e l'aria in camera molto secca, ho faticato a respirare.

• Toril (5/5): Für eine Nacht ganz okay - Die Lage ist super, Nähe zur Stadt und eines Sees. Personal war freundlich. Aufenthaltsraum mit Gemeinschaftsküche und Tisch ist gemütlich. Auch die Ausstattung der Gemeinschaftsräume ist auf seine Art schön, im altehrwürdigen Stil , mit Geweih an der Wand, Bahnhofsuhr und die Türen sind von außen hübsch gestaltet. Das Zimmer wurde für 4 Personen angeboten, es gab aber nur 3 Schlafplätze. Ausstattung ist in die Jahre gekommen und müsste mal erneuert werden.

Huone ja muut tilat olivat siistejä, kommunikointi henkilökunnan kanssa sujui hyvin ja mutkattomasti, kaikki meni oikein kivasti. Koirasta ei tullut lisämaksua mikä aina bonusta. Tein varauksen viime tipassa sunnuntai-iltana, pari tuntia ennen kuin menin paikalle. Vastaus tuli miltei heti. Voin siis suositella paikkaa. Ei varmasti alueen uusin majoituspaikka, mutta ihan hyvä, sujuva, mutkaton paikka.

• Jorkag (8/5): Very good - The room was just as described and included a washbasin. Although compact, it was thoughtfully furnished, with private shelves and reading lamps that gave everyone their own personal space. The motel features a small kitchen area (a section of countertop with cooking facilities), a shared fridge, a cosy lounge with a TV, and a dining area. There's also a traditional Finnish sauna with a wood-burning stove (for an additional fee). The host was very helpful and friendly. The kitchen lacked a sink, or there was no clear information about where dishes could be washed. The kitchen equipment could also be improved—items like cups, cutlery, and plates were limited.

• Sylwia (9/5): A place to come back to! - Good location (ski bus stops just in front), spacious rooms with a TV, very comfortable beds, spacious cozy lounge with a TV and dining hall with darts, sauna(!!), and first of all very helpful and friendly host. I liked having the sink in the room too, very practical. The only thing that wasn’t very practical was no direct access to the water tap in the kitchen lounge.

• Eneli (10/5): Cute stay! - Host Lotta was amazing, very warm and friendly person. I think she was the gem of this place, felt really welcome and saw how carefully she took care of the rooms and space. One evening there were churros free to take, yummy! There is a common kitchen room to cook food in and a separate dining room, where we met a lovely family also staying there and had fun sharing our Ruka skiing/snowboarding experiences of the day. The sauna was very nice too, we used it every night during our stay. The room was very enough for us, and we had no problem fitting our snowboarding clothes and gear there. The room also had a sink, from which we drank tap water and it was fine. The sanitary facilities were tired, but cleaned very well, so it was not much of an issue. The sound isolation might not be the best, but rhat just means you did not ski/snowboard hard enough :) we slept soundly.
• Samu (7/5): Bang for the buck at Ruka - Great bang for the buck. Sauna was great addition in the evenings. Staff was friendly, flexible and fun. Bed was good to sleep in. Motel may be a bit noisy, depending on people staying there :) The coffee maker in the kitcenette was missing during our stay so that made a small minus for me. Season was just starting, so it was a bit of a hazzle, but in a good way.

This place greatly enhanced my travels. While it’s not a five-star hotel, for sleeping, showering, and cooking, it's the best value in the area.
• Andres (9/5): Good place for late night last minute arrival - I arrived quite late, but they were still there to accommodate me. Friendly welcome, even though I woke the host up. Bedsheets are extra, but nowhere on booking app does it show how much. To be fair, quarter of the whole accommodation price seems a bit out of reason, for washing bedsheets, that were already in place and would have been used anyway.

• Jm (9/5): Home away from home - If you are sick of cookie cutter business hotels where you have to pay for everything, this homely hotel offers authentic hospitality that you might expect from a holiday to Lapland. Lovely food fired sauna included. Didn't mind not having a bathroom and shower in the room at all as there was a sink. Recommended for good value for money and some character! Not much soundproofing, if you have noisy neighbours

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Parking is just in front of the building. I was in the corner room and the heating system exhaust went up inside my room wall. There was some noise coming from it, but it wasn't super disturbing. Could be a wee bit cheaper.
