Due to an unexpected technical issue, the owner was incredibly accommodating and quickly found us a fantastic alternative solution that worked out perfectly. The location is truly beautiful, surrounded by nature, and the authentic cottages offer a wonderful, cozy stay. Highly recommend their flexibility and charm!

• Tuula (6/5): Mökki Tenojoen rannassa - Sijainti kaunis Tenojoen varressa. Pihalla monenlaisia paikkoja istuskella. Kohtuuhintainen. Mainos oli harhaanjohtava: "Tenon Eräkievarissa voit kokea saamelaiskulttuuria. Siellä on perinteisiä asumuksia, kuten kotia. Jokaisessa huoneessa on ilmainen WiFi-yhteys, kirjoituspöytä ja liinavaatteet. Tenon Eräkievarissa on myös yhteinen sauna, puutarha ja grillausmahdollisuus. Muita majoituspaikan palveluja ovat saamelaisia käsitöitä myyvä lahjatavarakauppa, retkipalvelu, jaettu oleskelutila ja polkupyöränvuokraus." 1) En nähnyt yhtään kotaa tai muutakaan saamelaiskulttuuria. 2) WiFi-yhteys toimi kunnolla vain päätalon rappusilla. Mökissä WiFi ei toiminut. 3) Kirjoituspöytää ei ollut, oli jatkettava ruokapöytä ja 2 tuolia (meitä oli 3). 4) Liinavaatteet piti olla omasta takaa. 5) Sauna ja keittiö oli ensimmäisenä iltana varattu kokonaan toisen mökin varanneelle porukalle. 6) En tiedä missä olisi ollut se jaettu oleskelutila tai miten olisi voinut vuokrata polkupyöriä. 7) WC oli päärakennuksessa. Suihku oli päärakennuksen kellarissa, suihkutilan ovessa ei ollut lukkoa. Lahjatavarakauppa ei ollut auki (ei tietoa aukioloajoista). 8) Aamiaista sai jos teki sen itse, mökissä oli onneksi pieni tuplalevy. Aterimet ja mukit haimme päätalosta. 9) Kerrossängyssä nukkuja iski päänsä mökin kattoon kun nousi sängystä. 10) kuvakokoelmassa ei ole yhtään kuvaan mökin sisältä, vain ulkoa ja päärakennuksen huoneista. En tajunnut, että meidän varaus oli ulkomökkiin. Ehkä kuvauksessa pitäisi erotella päärakennuksen huoneet ja mökit?

• Ritva (9/5): Tenon rannalla - Pieni mökki joen rannalla.Kaikki tarpeellinen löytyi mökistä.Erillinen puusauna ja kota lisäsivät viihtyisyyttä.Mökissä oli sopivan lämmintä.Majatalon emäntä oikein mukava ja puhelias. Wc- tilat vain päärakennuksessa.

• Frode (1/5): Stay away from this hotel! - Nothing - this hotel just tries to cheat money from you! Before we arrived at the hotel, we called the receptionist and arranged an arrival time. It was difficult to get in touch with the hotel, but after we had called many times they finally picked up the phone. We agreed that we would arrive late in the evening. When we got to the hotel it was closed and dark. We asked the neighbors if the hotel was open, but they said it was closed for the season. There was no message for us at the door, and no one answered the phone when we called. We were therefore left in the middle of the Finnish countryside late at night in the winter with no place to sleep. When I sent an email to the hotel afterwards to get my money back, they replied very rudely and claimed that we did not arrive at the agreed time and that the receptionist had been waiting for us. That is of course not true, and I have a picture of the closed hotel as proof. If they had been waiting for us, why hadn't they called or left a note? The hotel has agreed to refund two-thirds of the amount we had prepaid, but there is still 180 euros that I will not get back. Stay away, this hotel is very unscrupulous and is just trying to cheat your money!
• Agnes (6/5): Low service for high price - The location is good next to the river it looks beautiful There is a sauna and we could operate and use The booking was with breakfast included but in fact the bought products and we had to prepare by ourselves and for the kitchen nothing written in english We should have been informed it was a misleading statement in the booking descriptions we paid for a service we did not receive It was with shared bathroom but there are no privacy no doors no locks We were surprised and disappointed we had the chance to be alone so it was ok but in case of full occupancy it is an important information The owners spoke little english sothe communication was not easy So in conclusion it was overpriced for what we got

The rooms and the environment should be updated, a bit fallen down. So it looked a bit unclean.

• Dorina (10/5): Exceptional - The host was really comforting and helpful with everything. The room was cozy with great beds. We really enjoyed our stay and wish to come back one day!
• Pia (10/5): Easy access, easy communication, and a good rest! - Friendly staff and lovely house, good feeling of community. River close by, was great! Kitchen was super well equipped. I had a wonderful rest and stay. Anyone who loves to travel around northern regions and experience nature there will like this place. Shower room on the top floor was not the comfiest, it was a little small.

• Chris (6/5): Pricey with communal showering facilities. - Booked last minute as part of a motorcycle trip, convenient location and lovely views over the river. In a two week trip this was the most expensive cabin we stayed in. The shower facilities were communal with no separate cubicles/curtains, thankfully there were no other guests, but this would put me off staying again.
