Guest Reviews
- thao (10/5): Great! - It was cute and cozy.
- Robert (7/5): - Did not like having to send my photo id to the property manager.
- Haley (10/5): Pinkston Gardens was the perfect place to stay. It included multiple TVs and a nicely decorated area! - Lots of options for sleeping and nicely decorated. There were minimal seasonings and did not have a good sponge to clean.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Imani (10/5): - Clean and quiet location
- Kalyn (10/5): Home Away From Home♡ - Pinkston Gardens was clean, spacious, inviting, and just perfect for a family stay. My kids enjoyed waking up each morning and eating a few fresh raspberries off the vine while we enjoyed the flowers and sat on the back porch. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, while only being a short drive to visit the Mall Of America. You get so much more room and comfort for the price than you would at a hotel in the city. Highly recommend and would book again. Thank you for a pleasant and memorable stay!
- Kelcie (3/5): Clean but uncomfortable and overgrown weeds outside. - Door code. Nice decor and clean bedding. No shoes inside was terrible for my elderly mom and myself with bad feet. Beds are futon, not mattress so they are horribly hard and uncomfortable, didn't get any sleep. Steps upstairs are tiny, bedroom doors don't close all the way. Tub downstairsis hard to get in and out of. "Garden" and front yard are horribly over grown, got scratched up by overgrowth into driveway.
- Goodrich (10/5): - Everything Everything
- Goodrich (10/5): -
- Daniele (9/5): Good - Clean and spacious Air quality
- Thomas (10/5): - Very clean, comfortable home. Nice quiet neighborhood. Steep staircase may be challenging for those that may be mobility challenged.
- Matthew (10/5): Very beautiful home - Location N/a
- Jean-Paul (8/5): -
- Poth (10/5): - Loved the space! Beautiful decor and so comfy!
Nice area and near by lots to do!

- Erica (8/5): The house was Warm and welcoming, location is convenient - Convenient and neat The lawn was very overgrown and little difficult to see the address on the house due to the trees
- Lara (9/5): It was very roomy and comfortable. I would definitely look into staying there again when traveling with a group and visi - Loved the space and everything provided in the kitchen. Couch was comfortable The brush and overgrowth all over the front of the house and back yard.
- Parrish (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monica (8/5): We were here for a High School Graduation and it worked exceptionally well for us. - The location was perfect for us. The house was nice and the yard was very nice. All expectations were met and the host was very responsive and helpful. This was a great choice! A place to put things in the upstairs bathroom would have been nice. A few more towels in the kitchen would have been nice too.
- Varnica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebekah (9/5): Great for work trip! All employees had their own space. - Cozy little house. Plenty of rooms and two bathrooms. I was worried about the small thin beds but looks must be deceiving because I slept awesome. The pillows were great too! Small rooms but very well decorated with pink colored themes. Creative light fixtures. Host sent repetitive and excess automated messages through the booking.com inbox. It was overwhelming and a lot of info that I had to skim just to get to the important pieces. The location is not in a great part of town. The house also had a LOT of window air conditioning units.
- Mayra (10/5): Great Airbnb! - Ample room, lots of space in the rooms too. Love that it had 2 bathrooms and also plates, towels, etc for us to use. Makes the stay so much worth it!
- Kelli (10/5): The property is a refreshed older home, 2 of the 4 bedrooms and 1 of 2 full baths upstairs. The property is adorable wit - The property is in a quiet neighborhood close to many restaurants and shopping.
- Ichiban (3/5): Most difficult experience I have ever had with staying at an Airbnb...would not do again here. - SO many e-mails, so many last minute things I had to "acknowledge or provide" before being allowed into property; also then last minute check out procedures. I hated how he made me provide my cell phone number as my method to get the door code...hours before we were to arrive...basically forcing us to provide it.
- Nyasha-fadzai (10/5): Wonderful, refreshing and very comfortable - It was so comfortable and very clean. Felt at home and the location was great close to the shops and college since we were visiting Macalester College. It was also very spacious and the kitchen adequately stocked with equipment.
- Toua (8/5): Very good -
- Tracy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hofer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (8/5): We will book again. Thank you! - 4 bedrooms with either full or queen beds, 2 blow up air mattresses, sofa, portable crib- so many sleeping options. We only used 3 beds, but nice to have the space. Very good communication with owner. He brought us extra towels even, without request. It was great! I like the location for us. Maybe a bakers rack or shelf in the kitchen for guests to place things.
- Amanda (9/5): Superb - There were a lot of rooms and the bed space.
- Shavonda (8/5): Honest review - The location of the home was very convenient for our needs! The house was modern and clean. The host went above the expected needs. Never stayed in an Air BNB where there were so many options provided by the host such as pack n play, high chair, kitchen items, towels, blow up mattress etc. The host was very gracious with providing hand soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. My suggestion would be to have a hypoallergenic option or a warning. I used the hand soap (lavender) and had an allergic reaction. The only other suggestion I have is maybe have a fan available for use.
- Amber (8/5): Would stay again for sure - Spacious, house true to description. Main bed very comfortable. Kitchen and bathroom were clean and stocked. The temperature seemed well controlled and adjusted quickly to thermostat changes. The baby items are a nice bonus. A couple items from previous guests were left behind- under the radiator, under the couch. It could have been cleaned a little better. Some of the towels appeared dirty- with hair and stains. Backyard is a little overgrown but true to pictures, we stayed in the winter months so it was mostly tall stick bushes.
- Deann (8/5): Very good - Great location. Cute house with lots of bedrooms. We appreciated the landscaping, and wish we would have been there in the summer to truly enjoy it. Older guests or those with limited mobility may want to choose a bedroom on the main floor. Be aware though, that the bathtub on the main floor is a claw foot tub with a curtain all the way around, so no grab bars. My mom did ok, but something to keep in mind.
- Katie (8/5): Very good - Spacious very clean No shoes which is fine but no bench or chair to sit to do so, no washcloths in bathrooms, no fans in bedrooms. Also not all rooms have tv even one had a tv hung on wall but no outlet to plug tv in .
- Shane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Helena (9/5): Very nice place and we will probably come again! - Great location! Good space and rooms for all children. Some og the doors couldn’t close.
- Jaysun (10/5): Exceptional - It was a nice. Place to stay we were down for a concert
- Tanisia (5/5): Will not book this property nor anything from the owner. - The decor was cute! It looked like an abandoned house. The grass, plants, or scrubs was outgrown and dead. Then while checking the house out. It had a creepy basement with a tent in it. We wasn’t sure if someone was there with us or not. Stairs to the second floor were not safe. And the heaters one was inside the cabinet in the kitchen. Can you say fire hazard! The owner messaged me my whole stay, it was very rude!
- Madi (10/5): Exceptional - Lots of space
- Esma (7/5): Still we don’t use shoes at home but unfortunately we need to buy slippers today… They have no one we can walk at home - The house has 4 bedrooms so that’s so nice , comfortable! Thank you for letting us know about the laundry bags. When we first entered the Airbnb the first thing we noticed was the dirty floors at every bedroom and living room. This felt very unsanitary.
- Karen (10/5): Our stay was very ejoyable. - The location was within a couple of miles from the venue at which our daughter was married. It was easy to get to and from.
The Super Target location also came in handy.
We found Pinkston Gardens to be very clean and comfortable. The kitchen sink was missing the stopper so we went out a got one, not really a big deal.
There could have been washcloths and more dish towels to do the dishes.
Hooks or shelving in the upstairs bathroom for clothes, drying towels, etc.
- Andrea (7/5): Decent place for St Paul - I liked the location and 2 bathrooms. There were AC units in each room. Liked that there was parking. The tvs didn't have local channels and were unusable. There needs to be towel racks in the bathrooms. The yard is way overgrown and is unusable. There are some maintenance issues that should be addressed.
- Shannon (9/5): Cute home in a quiet and safe neighborhood. - The house was close to a park and located in a quiet neighborhood. It is such a cute house! The home offered off street parking which was nice. There was WiFi and all the comforts of staying in a home and not a hotel. The host was responsive. The doors were locked with automatic code locks and they had ac units throughout the home. It was hot outside but the home stayed cool. The plants around the driveway and sidewalk are overgrown. Some of the plants had thorns on their stems. I understand and love the natural beauty but it needs to be more maintained for an Airbnb home.
WiFi was slow too.
- Andrew (7/5): Overall not a bad stay - Property is in a good spot, everything was about 20-30 mins away Yard could use some work, the grass and bushes were all super over grown.
Doors for the rooms and bathrooms do not close all the way and none of them have a lock.
- Barb (6/5): Pleasant -
- Missy (10/5): New traditions to start! - At first it was about having a different atmosphere besides an hotel, trying something different but at the end it felt more homey, truly, the house reminded of my grandparents house, 90% of it was nearly like it. It was warm, quant, simple but beautiful and we all loved the aura of it. It was a perfect ladies weekend and a chance for us to connect and reset from life even a short time.
Thank you!!! Nothing. Even the weather didn't matter to us!
- Tina (6/5): Adequate but needs cleaned and upkeep. - Two full bathrooms, a long driveway, beautiful tulips in backyard were all great. Care of old house needed especially closets and kitchen cabinets. Floors were dirty, trash under furniture could easily be seen, outside trash overflowing in cans.
- Megan (7/5): Convenient location, plenty of room and light, and surprisingly comfortable beds. - Location was close to where our son lives and other areas of town we wanted to access. The space was roomy and light and the neighborhood was quiet at night. Nicely decorated and furnished. The steps of the inside stairs were steep and shallow in depth (entire foot did not fit unless ascending/descending in a sideways position). The window in the upstairs bath needs some sort of covering for privacy. Both bathrooms could use a mat or rug for exiting shower/bathtub safely.
- David (8/5): We had a great time in the surrounding cities seeing all the surrounding attractions in St. Paul . We loved the interior - The inside was clean, newly renovated, facilities were fully functional and there was a good line of communication with the host. The outside landscaping of the property from front to back needs some serious attention.
- Charlette (10/5): Exceptional -
