Guest Reviews
- Fiona (8/5): - Great location and cosy beds. Could be better stocked with basics such as green tea bags, pods for the coffee machine and more toilet rolls.
- Adrian (9/5): -
- Kiri (10/5): Excellent property and only a short walk to centre. - Excellent property with period features throughout but saying that it had all the modern elements for a comfortable stay. Close to centre. Nothing
- Louisa (10/5): Beautiful cottage on a great location to explore Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. - Beautiful house, thoughtful touches such as heaters, coffee machine. Good location. Loved everything
- Binari (10/5): -
- Nicola (8/5): Great location and cosy house with lots of character. - Location was good.
When we first arrived and as it was a cold weekend the house was very cold so that was concerning however there was ample heaters and soon the house was very cosy.
The main bed was very comfortable however the single bed was a bit hard. We would have liked to have a medium sized saucepan apart from that the kitchen was well stocked.
We also had cold showers one night and we couldn't work out why. The next day was okay
- Summar (9/5): Cosy period cottage in a central location - Location is central and a short walk to the centre of town. The house was super clean and cosy. It was very cold when we arrived as the heaters were not switched on, but warmed up and was lovely and toasty after and hour or two.
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): Very relaxing and a great catch up with friends in a good location - Charming little house, very comfortable, cozy and clean. We had another couple stay Friday and enjoyed a few drink around the fire. Our host Jeff was very easy to deal with. We will definitely be back 😊
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tania (9/5): Superb - Such a cute cottage! The owners were lovely to deal with. Love all the quirky decor, especially the artwork in the bathroom :) The cottage was clean and cosy, and the perfect distance to town.
- Donnamaree (8/5): Very good -
- Rob (9/5): Delightfully comfy. - This place is delightful spotless very well equipped and comfortable obviously close to town and v well priced. My bed - king was a bit hard
- Kok (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was beautifully designed with a fusion between new and old. There is a huge garden and open space behind the cottage with table and chairs for those who enjoy a drink in the open sky. It is well stocked and had almost everything you need. It is near town centre which is a plus. The beds were very comfy. Nothing. We enjoyed the stay very much.
- Angela (9/5): Superb - Lovely Cottage, comfortable, good amenities, very comfortable bed, with walking distance to town.
Daylesford is an excellent Victorian country location, lots to see and do, with Hepburn Springs, a pretty town only a very short drive, to visit.
- Anne (10/5): Step back in time with modern quirks - Home has a lot of character clean , comfortable beds, easy instructions, amazing heating, great homely home 🏡 Need to be aware to use shower you need to step into bath so if you had difficulty with movement might be difficult this is not a complaint as bathroom is beautiful
- Eepin (10/5): A fantastic, convenient stay! - Great location, beautiful space. Rustic but modern. Love all the touches to make the place comfortable for us, especially in winter. Appreciated the heaters and electric blankets. That bath was amazing. My little one loved the giant bunk bed! A little drafty but mitigated easily with the many heaters and blankets provided.
- Polamna (10/5): Exceptional - The property was clean and had great facilities. The beds were very comfortable,
and the home felt cosy I can't actually think of anything. Everything was perfect. Location was excellent walking distance to shops and restaurants and market.
- Tania (8/5): Very good -
- Nicolle (10/5): The owners should be extremely proud of the cottage. My friends and I enjoyed our stay and are planning a return visit i - Location and exceptionally clean
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jane (9/5): Superb - Well located and beautifully restored from an original cottage in the town. Amenities provided and a large garden, the trees along the driveway were a wonderful color when we visited. An easy walk into town. A small container of milk would have been nice and the hot water needs upgrading to a larger system, it ran out very quickly. Wouldn't really recommend for small children.
- Narelle (9/5): Great heritage house for a comfy Daylesford stay. - Warm and cost heritage cottage, comfy beds.
- Deborasteven (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean, comfortable, well stocked, beautifully, and thoughtfully restored as well as beautifully furnished !
Fantastic location and gorgeous gardens. Poor lighting outside at night particularly in the back yard, other than that.. nothing.
