- Carole (9/5): - Empfang sehr freundlich. Das Putzpersonal war ebenfalls sehr nett. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und toll ausgestattet (Kaffeemaschine, Tee, Wasserflaschen, Zahnbürsten, Zahnpasta, Kamm ...) Lage perfekt im Zentrum von Brig. Begrüssung beim Frühstück sehr unfreundlich. Durch den ganzen Frühstücksraum wurden wir angeschrien, weil wir uns irrtümlich an einen falschen Tisch setzen wollten. Die Muttertagsstimmung wurde mit einem Schlag zunichte gemacht.

- Erik (9/5): Ein charmantes Hotel mit einem noch charmanteren Restaurant! - Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes, jedoch sehr charmantes Hotel. Ausgesprochen freundlicher Empfang, grosszügiges Zimmer. In 10 Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt an überaus ruhiger Lage. Details: Ein schiefer Rolladen, der gar nicht erst hochgekurbelt werden konnte. Und eine nervtötende TV-Fernbedienung mit einer seltsam anmutenden Wipp-Funktion, um zwischen den Programmen zu wechseln. Wir mussten zuerst an der Réception nachfragen, um zu kapieren, wie sie funktioniert.

Das Zimmer (Junior Suite) bräuchte eine Renovation, v.a. Das Licht. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter hätte besser sein können, va. beim Frühstück.

Hochwertige Matratze, äußerst angenehm nach einem anspruchsvollem Tag. Top Frühstück, durch Parkplatz für Autoreisende gut. Mit schwerem Gepäck ist es etwas mühsam. Ich musste damit über einige Treppen.

Quiet room even with open window during the night. The bathroom was very small and the room was compact too. OK for a short stay but maybe too small for a longer stay.

Es gab bei 30 Grad leider keine Klimaanlage und das Zimmer war Tags wie Nachts sehr warm. Der Schlaf war dadurch sehr schlecht. Da haben die Ventilatoren leider nicht geholfen.

Wir konnten bereits vor dem Mittag ins Zimmer, was super war. Danke Es ist zwar ein 4-Stern-Hotel, aber ohne Wellness oder Unterhaltungsmöglichkeiten für Kinder und nur mit einer kleiner Lobby und kleinem Lift.

- Patty H (9/5): Great hotel in Brig! - The location near the train station and the city center was very convenient. Onsite parking lot including many spaces for electric cars. Elevator. Dogs allowed for a small charge and allowed in the dining room! Friendly staff. Very nice onsite restaurant, open on Christmas. Breakfast buffet was well-stocked and had hot items. Very comfortable beds. Quiet location.

Das Zimmer hatte leider keine Klima, aber dafür hatten wir einen Dyson, ohne ihn wäre die Nacht nicht auszuhalten gewesen. Das Essen im Restaurant war exzellent; vom roten Thai Curry war ich ganz begeistert ; eine wirkliche Überraschung! Die Lage ist ruhig und doch fussläufig zur schönen Altstadt von Brig.

Gegen eine Außentemperatur von rd. 35 Grad war das Klima-Gerät jedoch machtlos. Das Frühstück-Buffet bietet letztlich alles, was ein 4-Sterne-Haus verspricht (ausser vielleicht für eingefleischte Brötchen-Esser :-). Nichts
