Guest Reviews
- Andrew (10/5): We had a wonderful stay and would gladly come back and visit again. :) - A wonderful breakfast is available on request for a little extra per person, but well worth it. The location was perfect, nice and close to that main part of the city, about a 5-15 minute walk from most of the places we were going. This is not a complaint, merely an FYI for other travels that might be less informed like we were. For those spoiled like us and accustomed to always having AC, it can get quite toasty in the summer. You have to learn when to open windows and use blinds. Perfectly normal for places over there though... and likely only affects you during warm seasons.
- Monika (10/5): Perfect! - We had a very nice time in this place. The room had everything you need and is very close to all monuments and places worth visiting. The hostess, owner was simply lovely! If you are staying in Lecce, I recommend choosing this place :)
- Tamara (10/5): Great stay in Lecce - Great location close to the center, free parking on the street. The host was very kind and made us feel at home, she provided umbrellas and mosquito repellent and even gave as a free magnet from Lecce at the end. Breakfast was very tasty and different each morning. Parking can be hard to find. There was no AC in the room.
- Susan (9/5): Wonderful host, excellent location, very comfortable stay - Wonderful B&B in a fantastic location, just 6-7 minutes walk from both the train station and historic centre. We were able to arrange an early check in, which we appreciated since we were traveling by train. Our host Lina was very kind and helpful with anything we might need. A breakfast of fresh fruit (very beautifully presented) and fresh cake/pastries along with coffee/tea was brought to our room each morning at the time we preferred, and we had the option to eat outside on our little patio, which we did because the weather was still nice when we visited in October. The room had plenty of storage space (wardrobe, dresser, etc) and the washing machine was a real bonus. The location was just a block off a main road, but it was quiet and peaceful and within easy walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. Great value for the money, and a super location. Although it wasn't hard by any means, I found the bed a bit too firm for my liking, but that's just personal preference. My husband thought it was fine. The shower is very small, literally 2 feet x 2 feet. It wasn't a big problem for us as we are neither tall nor wide, but if you're a larger person you'll find it a tight fit.
- Sandra (10/5): Wonderful 3 days in Lecce and excellent accommodation, many thanks - We were delighted with everything about this lovely B&B , the owner was away for our visit, so give us the full run of thier beautiful balcony and patios, she left us beautiful breakfast provisions, instructions for everything, texted frequently even though on business overseas ( which we really appreciated) the accommodation was nit big but very comfortable and spotless , many restaurants close by, parking easy and free in street outside and an easy walk to the old town, which is absolutely full of beautiful churches , go in to everyone , you won’t be disappointed! Lecce is lovely and so is this B& B , very reasonably priced with a wonderfully friendly owner, can highly recommend No air con at the moment but this is being rectified
- Yvette (6/5): Lovely hostess, great breakfast but mouldy - Authentic stay in a typical Lecce home, on a quiet residential area, free parking on street outside, king size bed (6 feet), washing machine. Unfortunately, there was mould on the ceiling and walls and a very strong smell of mould in the property, we slept with the windows open and shutters semi-closed all night. Mould in properties is often the case because of the old stone homes in this area. Lovely hostess, great breakfast but I could not stay here again because of the mould. The mould on the ceiling and walls and smell of mould in the property.
