- Karen Vanessa (10/5): Un hermoso lugar.

- Richard (8/5): Nice Place in Portobelo - It is an ok place with nice people in a good location away from the main road so it is very quiet at night. I had a private room with a comfortable bed, two fans, and a sink and shower. The restroom was shared with the other guests. There is a nice common area that is partially covered with nice seating and a lot of space. My room had a window that was missing some small panes of glass with no screen so I was a little concerned about bugs getting in. The curtain helped and I saw only one mosquito in the room.
- Gareth (10/5): Great Hostel - Great place to chill and unwind in Portobello. Friendly staff including the dogs! Would staff here again no problem N/A
- Christopher (8/5): - It's nice place, good location and good view from the balcony. No AC but the fans worked really well and the cold water showers are refreshing! :)
- Arleta (10/5): - Lokalizacja, super atmosfera --

- Philipp (9/5): Superb - Amazing building, really nice staff, close to the town, plenty of tips for activities and a nice bar! AC would be nice!
- Rachel (6/5): Chilly - Loved the lounge and terrace Some of the staff members came off a bit cold and rude
- Alina (4/5): Disappointing - I loved the animals... The bathroom could be cleaner.
- Michi (7/5): Good -
- Cedric (8/5): Very good - Nice place to stay, great location and nice view from the town and the fores behind,, the family are friendly, good place for 1 or 2 nights.
- Bethany (2/5): Very poor - Frustrating to see such a high rating. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned for two nights, our mattress was damp and had fleas, the kitchen was tiny and very hard to make a simple meal. No helpful tour information was given. I don’t leave bad reviews, but I left covered in bites and was very unsatisfied with my stay. In 3 months in Central America this was my first worst stay.
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vladiq (6/5): Pleasant - Great location with beautiful view Unfriendly owners, we felt not welcomed, no information about local activity, dirty fridge and kitchen, shared toilet with dormitory
- Karo (10/5): Exceptional - Location, super friendly staff, the common space with plenty of hammocks and opportunities to sit and chill. Absolutely lovely experience! It was a great stay!
- Elvira (8/5): Very good - The location was amazing, in the village but also in the forest. Monkeys, sloths and other animals were easy to spot.
The hostel got cleaned multiple times a day and the owner was really friendly and laid back. Price could have been a bit less, but for Panama it is normal.
The toilet is shared with the dorm.
- Véronique (10/5): Exceptional - Hostel is super friendly. Su is a great host, helps you with planning your trip. She was kind enough to invite me on her own boat tour with her friends! Other guests were very open and welcoming too :)
Gracias por todo. Todo bien ! A little warm but as you should expect in the area
- Alessandro (9/5): The place for bavkpackers - The real gem of this place are the people working there. Sue is a great host and a magnet for friendly people, she will make you feel at home. The place is what you expect from a Hostel in the Jungle. Very basic services and comfort, but it has a bar on the terrace that becomes very lively with people from the village, other guests and tourists passing by. You can spot a lot of wildlife around the place and Sue runs some cheap tours to the nearby beaches for a very local experience. Oh they also have a sloth living there! Nothing really if you know what to expect. Not for people that struggle to get out of their comfort zone.
No AC in the rooms :)
- Ruben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dian (8/5): Very good - Great common area and views are amazing. Staff was great, shared kitchen was well stocked with pots/dishes, could see wild monkeys off in the trees.. Beds not great and no hot water
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - It was a joy to welcome the New Year on the Hostal's beautiful deck with the amazing staff and folks from Panamá, Canada, Austria, Germany, Honduras, and the United States. This place has a great vibe.
- Abram (10/5): Loves everything abou it. Simple place - This was a great place. It was super relaxing and quite. Sue was an amazing host and made us feel at home. It was priced well. The location was waking distance from everything. The bed was super comfortable. It's a very basic place so remember that. Sue recommended this unforgettable kayak tour ,that took me out to a secluded beaach
- Ewa (9/5): Superb - A great vibe, comfortable and clean rooms, clean bathroom. Very nice common areas and well equiped kitchen. Great owner and her pets. Beautiful View from the hammock, birds singing, fresh air. Nothing
- Jing (9/5): Superb - My favorite part is that no matter how hot the weather is, the hotel is always cool, perhaps because of the high location, and the view from the balcony is nice.
- Max (3/5): Poor -
- Gabriel (10/5): Went on adventures nearby - Sue, the hostel owner, and her friends were so kind and fun to be around. Nothing
- Edna (8/5): Very good -
- Farias (10/5): Great place to feel like home - I liked the comfort, the really good reception, the views, spaces and affordableness. All clean, well-equiped kitchen and quite silent nights of sleep. There is a nice bar upstairs also if you up for some drinks. Nothing really
