• Patricia Ann (5/5): Overall, service and quality fell short of past experiences. - Pet friendly We always come here to celebrate NYE / birthdays yet thi New Year’s Eve visit was disappointing compared to previous stays. The room had hygiene issues (pillows smelled unpleasant like smelled of sweat), and service requests were not accommodated, no room upgrade, no extra bed, and a comforter request was met with 2 blankets instead of a comforter. The breakfast buffet was poorly managed, often empty of food or utensils, requiring repeated requests for refills.

• Steve (10/5): Mabuhay sa Somerset! Boutique excellence in Alabang - Somerset is literally our home away from home. Staff welcoming from check in to check out. Smiling, accommodating and friendly! The team are like Tito and Tita to our kids (esp. Jerry and Bong) Location is great near malls, restaurants and highway access. The one room suite is spacious, clean and had a balcony to hang clothes. We also availed of the restaurant and drinks in the evening. Escenscia is a fantastic massage/spa on site too! Special mention to Jed who resolved every request professionally with a smile

• David (4/5): A pleasant stay with good food and a clean room, but spoiled by hidden costs and late-night noise - At first sight, the restaurant looked quite small, but that turned out not to be an issue: the menu was surprisingly varied and the interior had a pleasant style. The plants outside also added a nice touch to the view. The room itself was clean and well kept, with the added comfort of a bathtub with hot water. Unfortunately, the big downside was the bill at Fiddle Leaf. The menu advertised a lunch set for 980 PHP, including starter, main, and dessert, with an additional service charge. However, the final bill for just one person came to 2,129.60 PHP. This feels misleading and far too expensive, I honestly felt scammed. They really need to be more transparent about their pricing. Another drawback is the location across from The Fileinvest Tent, which plays loud music until late at night. If you are looking for rest or want to go to bed early, this is not the place.
• Marc Roda Ruiz (7/5): A Perfectly Functional Stopover - The Somerset Alabang is a solid choice for a short stay in Manila. Its biggest advantage is the fantastic location—it's just a short walk to the huge Festival Mall, which has everything you could need. It's also very convenient, only about 25 minutes from the airport. After coming from the islands, we did find it a lot busier and more of a standard city hotel. The room was okay for our two-night stay, but it's showing its age and could use a refresh. A deeper clean, especially in the bathroom, would make a big difference. Everything was perfectly fine for our needs—it’s a dependable and convenient place to sleep, but don't expect anything super special or resort-like. It does the job. A small note: while I know the strict Manila smoking policy isn't the hotel's fault, it was a bit frustrating that they didn't even offer a match or lighter as a basic courtesy to guests needing to use the designated area.

• Nomadic MOON (10/5): Our favorite hotel in Alabang! - 10/10 for us - location, amenities, room and service were great! We have stayed in 5 different hotels on this trip and Somerset Alabang is our favorite. The location is close proximity to malls, grocery and transportation. The lobby, pool and restaurants were well maintained, clean and smelled amazing. We stayed in Premier Studio for 6 nights. It had kitchen and dining equipped with furnitures and fixtures needed for longer stay. The only place we stayed that had washing machine and dryer. Room had enough clothing storage with bath robes available. The beds and sheets were clean and comfortable. Toiletries and towels were generously provided. We appreciated the filtered water in the room, that made a huge different for us in conserving water  and also the refillable toiletries they had. As for service, they were consistently courteous and professional; from the security at the lobby who assisted me in my daily commute, hailing Grab, the attentive receptionists who assisted me when I needed some documents processing, the housekeeping who regularly asked as if we need room service or we need new towels or sheets (believe me, we've been in other hotels where we have to beg for this or charge extra for towels), the servers at the 4th floor during breakfast who attended to our needs whether be coffee or new plates etc. Service is tough notch for us. We enjoyed the free breakfast, offered variety international cuisine and Filipino dishes too. The amount they asked for damage deposit was not excessive compared to the other hotels we stayed in. We look forward to staying again in thr future. Our only complain would be the bathroom that had no shower door. Water splashed everywhere and it remained wet all day. They provided us with rugs and that got soaking wet too, we had to ask for new one everyday. Also, I wish they gave us the room that has a sofa or couch (as shown in the photos when I booked the room). I wondered if they put us in a room for the disabled because they seemed to have more open space in the room. Anyway, next time we will be wise to check the room before unpacking our luggages.
