• Gabor (10/5): - Nice, quiet, very clean room in the heart of the old town very close to the sea and also to the main meeting point to several day trips. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets nearby. Nothing to complain about.

Я не уверен, но мне показалось, что по мне ползала блоха! Недалеко мечеть и слышен призыв к молитве среди ночи - но разбудил даже не он, а воюющие рядом собаки (они выли из-за звуков с мечети)

• Zayizzheny (8/5): - Близость рынка, банка, достопримечательностей. Чисто в номере. Все есть в наличии. Нету чайника, чтобы сделать кофе. Плюс можно класть водичку, прилетаешь заходишь в номер, пусто. В моем случае прилетел поздно, магазины не работают. Это всё мелочи. Цена качество как говорится.

• Peter (10/5): Zentral, freundlich, gute landestypische Ausstattung - Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal und der Chef waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, auch im Umgang mit Kindern. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und landestypisch, mit frischen Produkten und bestens zubereitet. Die Lage ist perfekt: mitten in der Altstadt, sodass man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis - wir würden wiederkommen.

• Rostislav (9/5): Подходящее место, если хотите посмотреть старый город - Уютный и чистый номер на 2 этаже. Хозяин гостеприимный, помог отнести чемоданы и в целом был доброжелателен и готов помочь. Может быть шумновато из-за мечети рядом, но если закрыть окно - в номере тихо. Расположение хорошее, в самом центре старого города Белье и полотенца не меняются, мусор не выносится. Нужно просить хозяина. Иначе будут убираться только при вашем выселении.

They also provide a laundry service for a good price. It was also close to the pickup point for some tours. There are no lifts, but it was only one floor high to walk the stairs.

• Fjordbotten (8/5): Very good - Location was very convenient right in the old town with good access to public transportation. Room was spacious and clean. We were able to get hot water and ice from the cafe/restaurant attached to the hotel which made up for limited amenities in the room. Wifi didn't work in the ground floor room we had despite the range extender - this was probably due to thick stone walls in the building. Wifi seemed to be better on the patio upstairs so maybe this is not a problem in other rooms. No fridge or kettle in the room, adding this would be an improvement.

• Paul (5/5): I didn’t have the best experience hopefully this was just a one off! - The property was located in the old town near to restaurants, shops and the sights also close to Ismetpasa metro station, there is a nice terrace upstairs, the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, I think it represents good value for money. On the last night I was there I noticed insect bites on my feet and ankles, I discovered fleas on the bed, I squashed around five of them, when I mentioned this to the guy at checkout the next morning he just shrugged and said sorry, I’m not sure if he understood what I meant but either way he didn’t seem to concerned, there were also a couple of power cuts during my stay but I’m not sure if this was just the hotel or if it affected the wider area.

• Suzanne (10/5): We will definitely be returning next year - Although the room we stayed in was small. It was very comfortable and clean. Larger rooms were also available, but we were more than happy with our choice. We opted for a room with a balcony. It was a large terrace balcony with an outside seating area that was a sun trap all day long. The staff were extremely friendly and we will definitely be returning next year. Sun Anatolia Hotel was located in the heart of the city centre of the old town, Kaleici It was 5-10 minute walk to the nearest beach and there was also a larger beach that was a 45 minute walk away or a short tram ride away. Distance from the airport was not very far and it cost £18 in a taxi from the airport to the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and we will definitely be returning next year. The room was a little small. However larger rooms were available.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, greeting us with a warm smile every time we came or went. Overall, this hotel is a hidden gem. Highly recommended!
• Agata (7/5): Would stay again if not for morning call of prayer - Location is great, just on the edge of Old Town and 5 min walk from the tram and bus stops. it's quiet enough that you don't hear the street traffic or noise from the bars and restaurants and close enough to walk everywhere. After staying at several places with shower-over-toilet setup it was nice to have a proper shower cubicle. Big balcony. Staff was nice and helpful when they were there. The main drawback of the location is that it's just across the street from a mosque (our balcony was facing it) so we were woken up by the call of prayer just before dawn every morning. Earlugs didn't help. Bed is on a firm side. I liked it, my partner found it uncomfortable. Half the time staff was nowhere to be found. Balcony was shared with the room next door and sadly they chose to smoke and leave cigarette butts and rubbish on our table. Obviously not the hotel's fault though.

The owner was happy to help with any question I had including laundry late in the evening. I saw 1 big cockroach in the bathroom. But they said this is how it is in the old town, and it happens at times. Overall, everything was very clean, so I believe it was an accident.

The owner at the reception was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We much apprcaitted that the owner accomodated our 2am which turned out to be 3am checkin with no issues. • Hughes (10/5): Great location, and fantastic hosts. - I loved that this is a family run hotel. The owners are so friendly and helpful. We could ask them anything and they would be willing to assist. We even got assistance with translating for our shuttle. We would have been late for our flight without their help. They are amazing and the location of the hotel is perfect, walking distance to so many places, such as the mall, the old town market, hadrians gate, clock tower,mermerli beach etc. Due to the extreme heat conditions, a little Bar fridge in the room would have been great to keep our drinks cold. Drinks got warm very quickly with no fridge.

Friendly and helpful staff. Had very easy and prompt check-in even at 04:00 in the morning. It would be very kind to offer one small welcoming bottle of drinking water on day of arrival.

We were close to centre of town and within walking distance to all amenities. Will definitely be back again. Would have loved a kettle and cups in room to make ourselves a tea or coffee.
