Guest Reviews
- Priscilla (8/5): - Location beautiful, had no breakfast facilities. The area is quiet and secluded. Was wonderful. Nothing
- pauline (8/5): - Beautiful setting, amazing views from property of all that is The Wilderness. A very short walk from the room to the beach. Comfortable room with everything you need and very secure parking. Wifi great and Netflix on TV. The host even provided an electric blanket. Shops and Resturants 5mins away. Overall a great place.
- Mervyn (6/5): - Was thereThe place is very hard to find as Google cannot find it. Luckily we could use the address. Then there is no name to say which house it is. I did not answer the phone and I had to go around onto the beach to find somebody to say I was there. They have three dogs and they are very noisy with their barking. Even when you leave I had to phone to give keys back. Will not stay there again. Out of five places we stayed in this was the worst.
- Johan (10/5): -
- Deon (8/5): Very good - Location Location and view
- Douglas (4/5): Disappointed - The location No outside lighting, broken decking on route to room, linen tired and ripped, towels had holes as did the sheets, damp inside and parking awkward.
- Malcom (10/5): Will definitely book here again - Location and extremely friendly staff No appliances in room like microwave or stove
- Woods (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gerhard (8/5): Very good - DID NOT HAVE BREAKFAST DARK OUTSIDE DURING NIGHT TIME IF YOU HAD TO WALK OUTSIDE YOUR ROOM.
- Eugene (10/5): Exceptional -
- Magdalene (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent
- Margo (6/5): Fine just for an overnighter. Beautiful view. - The location is perfect because it is right by the sea. The facilities could be better. A microwave to warm something to eat as it is self catering. Bedside lamps and hairdryer work with two point plugs but there are no plugs.
- Botha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Magmood (7/5): Good -
- Jon (5/5): Overpriced and dissappointing - Good comfy clean bed and right on the beach. Similar to previous reviews, No signage, or code to open gate when first arrive, it feels like a garage, quite stuffy, needs some TLC and deep clean, in and out. Toilet and cistern not fixed to floor or wall, Could do with a fan, local info, maybe an inside/outside table and attention to detail. Didn't see owners but the Maid just pointed to TV,Shower,Bed and said they worked and walked off................ The best way to improve a place is if the owner spends 2 nights in it and see what they feel.
- Fidelia (8/5): Very good - An awesome place on the beach. Friendly hosts and staff.
Quality accessories. Fridge on the floor- too low. No microwave to heat food.
- Anton (9/5): Great - Superb location, great hosts.
- Elsabe (4/5): Disappointing - How understanding the host was.
- Wayne (5/5): Passable - Position is fantastic . Quiet area and right on the beach . Great off-street secure parking . Shabby garden and no pool . There is no signage of the house name anywhere . Confusing arrival .
It's not really a guest house . More a back room. No communal lounge or kitchen, so it feels like you need to stay in your room while on the property.
- Hyde (6/5): Lovely to have a hassle free stay direct access to beach and so close to all amenities in town - Amazing location- you are right on the beach.. The property has a few maintenance issues - if addressed would make for a great stay - no outside lights, issues with water leaks and toilet overflowing and just general cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Maybe have some cleaning utensils and soap for guests to do washing up
- Danica (8/5): Stay was wonderful and will recommend for anybody that just wants to getaway for a weekend - Beautiful view, beach access, can’t get better than that. A bit small, won’t be able to stay longer than two nights without feeling cramped, maybe if you have an outside braai and sitting are it can feel more spacious.
And one small thing, coming into the driveway, there were a lot of black bags that haven’t been taken out for pick, other then that everything was perfect :)
- Mc (10/5): Nice friendly and comfortable - Location was excellent Sea access
- Bridgette (1/5): A single room with no view and hardly bathroom facilities - It is located close to the beach This is a converted car garage with the only window overlooking the car garage. It is a room and the owners are on site, sharing the garden and facilities with their children. The bathroom is not 1m squared and is the entrance through to the room.
- Louis (10/5): Wonderful host who went out of her way to make the stay extra special. - The location is exceptional and you are able to walk out of the property onto the beach. Not much that I didnt like.
- Eve (10/5): Exceptional - The view and the fact that we were just on the beach front. Waking up to the beautiful sound of waves just calms my soul Nothing I could think off
- Domoney (10/5): Very pleasant - Incredibly friendly hosts and beautiful property right on the beach. Even in the cool weather I was kept warm and well looked after.
- Annetjie (10/5): Beautiful, tranquil, inviting for relaxation to see, feel and enjoy the sea - The owners put on the electric blankets, so the bed was warm, they even provide a real coffee bags for the morning coffee. We could sit on the deck to drink our morning coffee and felt the breeze of the waves. it was fantastic, will definitely take my husband and daughter next time with. I just needed a place to hang out wet towels, but for the rest we were so satisfied, thank you so much.
- Roxanne (10/5): Amazing stay right on the beach, secure and comfortable. Easy check in and out. A great experience all in all. -
- Francois (8/5): Very good -
- Nadia (10/5): Beautiful room with the best location. - The room is stylish and well equipped. The beach can be directly accessed from the property and the sea view is visible from the room door. The property is close to the Wilderness Spar, petrol station and some of the best restaurants in the Garden Route.
- Johan (8/5): Very good -
- Halekas (7/5): Good -
