• Laura (10/5): Great place close to town and train station! - Great value for the money, nothing fancy but comfortable and everything I needed. The courtyard is very cute with tables and canopies to stay out of the sun. The owners are super friendly and breakfast was simple but tasty. The steakhouse is amazing! The location is perfect on the train station side of town. It only takes a couple minutes to walk to the main intersection. The beds seem a bit older, but still quite comfortable.

• Narmina (5/5): - The hotel has a nice location and a nice inner yard Breakfast is more than simple, just scrambled eggs and bread. Sometimes ham is added. The stuff does not speak English at all. I booked a deluxe room but they gave as an ordinary room by mistake and I could not explain it. The next day changed and we had to carry the stuff to another room. No elevator to carry the cases. For this price the breakfast and the service could have been better. no wardrobe in the room, no hair dryer, we even left 1 day earlier, despite the fact we paid for that night

Malgré cela nous avons trouvé porte close et personne ne répondait bien que nous avons sonné et frappé plusieurs fois. C'est le monsieur de l'hôtel d'en face qui a dû leur téléphoner 2 fois avant qu'on vienne nous ouvrir.

• Janine (7/5): - Really good location, you can get dropped off right outside the accommodation (entrance through the steakhouse), and the staff were really nice and friendly I was there for 5 nights but the room was never checked, and because it was raining the first night, the floor got quite sandy. Had to ask for more toilet paper and the trash to be taken out. It seems this is pretty standard in most of Peru. The 2 following places I stayed at, the rooms also were cleaned or checked. Only in Lima was there daily cleaning. And with all the places ive stayed in so far in Peru, the rooms and really insulated, especially the windows so can by a little noisy.

Clean. friendly, and comfortable. - The location only a short walk from the main plaza was excellent, and there was a nice view of the ruins from my window. The room was newly decorated, and had a very updated bathroom. Best of all was the staff who bent over backwards to fulfill any request. I had to change me stay arrangements due to the closure of the railroad to Macchu Picchu due to a strike, and they quickly accommodated me. The hotel also had a restaurant that provided an included breakfast. nothing

• Gutierrez (10/5): Visita a Ollantaytambo por Andes Races - En general, es un hospedaje muy agradable y con todo lo necesario para una buena estadía. El personal fue siempre muy atento a nuestras necesidades y peticiones. El lugar es encantador: desde la ventana se pueden apreciar las ruinas de Ollantaytambo, y en el jardín se disfruta de un lindo momento rodeado de naturaleza. Por las noches se escuchaba el ruido de los autos y motos, algo común en la mayoría de hospedajes de esta calle debido a la cercanía con la estación del tren. Sería recomendable que el alojamiento considere mejorar este aspecto, ya que el descanso es importante tanto para quienes se quedan en Ollantaytambo como para quienes se preparan para visitar Machu Picchu.

Wi-Fi incluso e colazione soddisfacente. A pochi passi dalla piazza principale e dal sito archeologico e a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria dove partono i treni per Machu Picchu. Acqua calda nella doccia. A richiesta mi hanno fornito l’asciugacapelli Stanza un po’ fredda, purtroppo non c’è un riscaldamento. Ma per fortuna forniscono coperte pesanti.

• Claudia (6/5): El hotel no está mal pero el desayuno desastroso - La habitación tenía una vista hacia una de las montañas, entonces era un plus. La cama es cómoda. El hotel queda cerca del centro de la ciudad y cerca de la estación de tren. El desayuno horrible: atrasado, pan duro, café frío, huevos desabridos, el jugo artificial... Parecía que el staff tuvo una fiesta el día anterior y no estaban en el mejor estado. La habitación no era muy silenciosa porque se oía cuando se abría las puertas de las otras habitaciones.

Al momento del nostro arrivo abbiamo contattato la struttura e la persona presente alla reception si è completamente disinteressata del fatto che non riuscissimo a trovare l’ingresso, chiudendo la telefonata senza sforzarsi di affacciarsi sulla porta d’ingresso. Avevamo preso accordi per anticipare la colazione alle 6.30 am (su proposta dello staff) e il mattino seguente, alle 7 passate non c’era nessuno nella struttura ed è stato impossibile contattare un membro dello staff al telefono. Inoltre, dalla nostra stanza si sentiva musica ad alto volume fino a tarda notte proveniente da un altro locale. Peccato, perchè la struttura è ben posizionata ed accogliente. Lo stesso non si puó dire dello staff, che non ci ha prestato la minima attenzione, in quanto impegnato a giocare al telefono.

• Erik (9/5): Great location property for those needing the nearby train or bus stations. - We were there so quickly so we were not able to stay as long as we would've wanted, but the location was perfect for our adaptation of the altitude between Cusco and Aguas calientes. It's a little tough to walk up and down the street given the pathways are so tiny, but a pretty solid location on the less. Not the most walk-friendly street that it is situated on.
• Sin-hsien (10/5): If you’re coming to Ollantaytambo, stay here! - We stayed here twice — before and after our trip to Machu Picchu — and the owner kindly let us store our luggage for free. Additionally, you can enjoy a beautiful view from the second floor of the guesthouse. The best part was that both rooms we stayed in had hot showers. It’s also a restaurant, and I highly recommend coming here for dinner. Compared to other restaurants in Ollantaytambo, it’s more affordable and just as delicious.
• Pascale (8/5): Very lovely stay. Perfect place to stay if you are taking the early train to Machu Picchu. Noemi was very accommodatin - Confortable room, nice bathroom, good water pressure, friendly staff. There was a noisy pump that was going most of the night (stop and go) and was close enough to our room for us to hear it.
• Hongwei (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel room is suer clean and seems to be renovated recently. Very close to the travel attractions. 5 minutes walking distance to the train station. The front desk staff are very friendly, and packed breakfast for us to catch our early train. Our room was next to the street, the traffic noise was so loud and we couldn't sleep almost the whole night. Also, the hot water is not enough for a comfortable shower.
• Kit (6/5): 5 minutes walk to train station. Convenient for travellers going to Machu Picchu. Provide simple breakfast which is good - Staff is accommodating and willing to solve problems Street noise is disturbing but staff willing to change the inside rooms for us.
• Petar (9/5): Superb - The location is good, there is also a nice view to the hills across the ruins. The hostess is very kind and helpful. The breakfast is made on site and is pleasant. The complex has a very cozy garden. The property met my expectations.

• Jazz (6/5): Close to train station - Good for stop over before Machu Picchu departure as very close to the train station. Convenient to town as well. Hot shower with strong water pressure. Extra blanket provided for warmth. Fairly basic bur sufficient room. Courtyard was a bit noisy during the early evening with kids playing and restaurant customers which can be heard from room. However, was quiet when sleeping.
• Tobias (8/5): Very good - Great location and view of the Ollantaytambo ruins. Staff was friendly and room was very clean. Shower was great. They also prepared a breakfast to go for us. The restaurant opens at 6pm and if it's closed you have to knock on the red metal door by the side. There are no signs which makes it complicated if you don't know this to check in. Beds were a bit small.
• Short (9/5): Great stay! - They were very accommodating and kind. Between the bit of Spanish I knew and bit of English they knew we were able to communicate perfectly. There is a beautiful garden to enjoy breakfast and very quick downhill walk to train station. Definitely recommend! Lighting in room was very bright!

• Cindy (9/5): Good value for money- well located - The hotel is well located The staff is really nice. They let me stay for a few hours to rest in a room as I was feeling sick whereas we had already checked out. They kept our luggage’s too while we visited Machu Picchu.
• Stefan (10/5): Gem of a hotel in a gem of a town - It was completely worth spending two nights in Ollantaytambo, rather than rushing through this gem of a town between Cusco and Machu Picchu Pueblo (formerly Aguas Calientes). The hotel is conveniently located halfway between the train station and the center of town, both a short walk away. The rooms overlook a beautiful garden with a backdrop of the spectacular mountain scenery. The hotel is family-operated and all the family members are super friendly. As a nice surprise, the hotel also turned out to be an excellent restaurant, possibly the best in town (we only have two others to compare to).

When we picked up luggage at the agreed upon time, the front desk guy was already waiting for us with suitcases in hand. Room is tiny. Some blood stain on the blanket.
• Jiaqing (8/5): It was a pleasant stay in Ollantaytambo. - This is a family owned hotel, the brothers were very helpful with our request. Throughout our stay we felt very welcoming. There is a steak restaurant within the hotel offering one of the value for money meals in the town. Wifi wasn’t working really well during our stay but the staff helped by offering a repeater in our room.
• Aleksandra (10/5): Best location, amazing food, comfy beds - Great location, 2 minutes walk from archeological site, 2 minutes from the main square and 5 minutes from the train station. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Staff was friendly.
• Ljupka (10/5): Hotel with incredible views and amazing food - I'm so glad I picked this place for my stay in Olltaytambo. The rooms have a gorgeous view of the valley, are very clean and spacious. The hosts who work at the restaurant and also manage the hotel are the most hospitable and friendly people I've met! After a full day of hiking Machu Pichu, I've never gotten better sleep than here in the quiet neighborhood with the cleanest air, but not before eating the best meals outside in the beautifully landscaped serene and secluded garden of the restaurant. I recommend this place for all types of travelers, from avid hikers to folks who want to visit Olltaytambo and the area. For the most reasonable price, I consider this a hidden gem in the city. I would not hesitate to book here and would not be surprised if this place once discovered starts being booked solid for the season.
