- India (10/5): Perfect cosy cottage stay! - We loved our visit to nutshell cottage, it was even cuter than expected! So much character and also cosy and has everything you might need for a lovely stay! Great location right in town and a short stroll to the sea!
- Antony (8/5): A very comfortable cottage in a great location - It was clean comfortable and well equipped I was worried about the exposed unboxed electricity mains and fuse box.
- gillian (9/5): Good comfortable cottage that was a great base for walking the coast path. Good bus links too. Would definitely stay he - Very well equipped cottage. Easy to use heating. Very comfortable bed. Dog friendly.

- Sarah (9/5): Cute cottage, great location - Lovely cute and charming old world cottage full of character. Easy walk into town for beach, bars and restaurants. Front and back garden could do with some care and attention as it was full of weeds. Strange that we were asked to water the pots when they and rest of the garden needed some work.
- Joanne (9/5): Sun, sea and seagulls! We had a lovely few days here and will look to rebook again soon. - The cottage is old and the stairs steep but, it’s very clean, the furniture is comfy and the beds fab! Perfectly situated for a wonderful holiday at Seaton. There is a car park right behind so only a short stroll to the cottage. Although right on a seemingly busy road, the whole area is very quiet at night, unless you count the seagulls! The cottage has everything you need for a holiday, the kitchen is small but has a cooker, fridge freezer, kettle, microwave, dishwasher and toaster, plus all the usual kit. The bathroom is upstairs with a very decent new bath and double headed shower. At the back there is a paved garden, on a slight slant but it has a table and chairs, perfect for evening dining and is a real suntrap during the day. If you are anyway disabled or have mobility issues then the stairs may be a real problem for you.
- Bruce (8/5): Very good - Good space and comfy lounge, nice range of books and games.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Roy (9/5): lovely cottage - lovely cottage, cosy and a 5 minute walk to the beach and amenities everything you need for a break away. there are games provided and a good sized television. tea coffee milk ready for your arrival was nice as well. the small cottage garden could do with tidying / weeding, but not enough to detract from the lovely cottage
- Lindsay (9/5): Relaxing stay! - A delightful cottage, close to the shops and beach. Excellent communication from the hosts.
It was lovely to find milk in the fridge and tea/coffee for when we arrived. Parking in the short stay carpark was easy using the Ringo app.

- Stefanie (9/5): Lovely weekend stay at Nutshell Cottage - We had a really lovely stay at Nutshell Cottage, which is in a perfect location for the beach and all other attractions in Seaton.
The cottage is very cosy and comfortable, with everything you need. Parking around the back in public carpark is very convenient and literally only a 3min walk.
Communication with the owner was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

- Ag-uae (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed at Nutshell for 2 nights with 2 teenage children. The cottage felt like a home away from home. It had everything we needed. The location was good, close to everything in Seaton. Communication with the hosts was easy, Nancy always replied almost immediately.
- Paul (9/5): Really lovely cottage, very clean and cosy. Everything worked and the hosts were really nice. - Lovely little cottage. We only stayed one night but it was perfect for what we wanted. The host was at the property when we arrived (we got there early) but they were kind enough to let us leave our bags. There is no parking and it was very busy around the town to park. There are car parks but they were full when we arrived. We did manage to find somewhere a short walk away.
- Carl (10/5): Perfect holiday cottage, welcoming, clean and comfortable - thank you so much for letting us stay. - We did not have the breakfast, loved the fact that the seafront was just a short walk away and on the way we could meander round the shops. The cottage was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs. I also enjoyed the garden with furniture provided, a lovely little suntrap ideal drinking a glass of wine and reading my book. The only thing was that we would have found a second key useful. Carl went out on his own to meet his Brother on Friday night whilst me and Liam stayed at the cottage - we didn't have the option to lock the door before we went to bed without having to wake up to let him in - it in no way spoilt our holiday though (we just locked him out for the night lol!!).
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was cosy, comfortable fittings and well stocked with all you needed for a few days away Car park location was handy but costs could add up for longer stays
- Liza (9/5): Very enjoyable stay. - We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it was very clean, in a great spot close to everything Seaton has to offer. Slept really well, comfy beds and seating, everything you needed was there. The dog loved it too..Would definitely stay again. We liked everything at the house, and the garden was a lovely sun trap. The only negative was the weeds in the back garden.
- Hoover (9/5): Superb - It was very cute and comfortable. The car park was a short walk away. The shore was about an 8 min walk.
- Tracey (9/5): A little gem! - Delightful little cottage with a sunlit backyard, close to the local amenities. Lovely stay.
- Martyn (10/5): Chilled couple of days in East Devon - The cottage was better than expected at the price point, clean very comfortable and in a great location. The key was available ahead of schedule and the comms excellent
- Albert (9/5): Ideal for a short stay in Seaton - We stayed in the cottage for one night. It was very comfortable and perfectly situated in Seaton.
- Anna (8/5): Excellent cottage for visiting family. - N/A Extra charges for parking!
- Beverley (10/5): Lovely home and great hosts! - Great location. Easy access to all. Adorable home!
- Jon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (8/5): Very good -
- Lesley (9/5): Perfect weekend, lovely accomodation in beautiful Seaton. - Perfect location, close to the beach and the lovely little town.
Although situated on a main road close to a junction we were not disturbed at all by traffic noise.
The cottage is very tastefully decorated with comfortable furnishings and was spotlessly clean with
quality bedding and towels and a very well equipped kitchen.
Our hosts were very accessible and extremely helpful.
We have already recommended Nutshell Cottage to friends who are hoping to travel to Seaton in the near future. There was nothing to dislike about this lovely little cottage or its location.
