Matjaz (8/5): Mir in kraj za sprostitev. - V mirnem okolju nasada olk je prava oaza miru. Bazen je zelo vabljiv, a tudi osvežilen. Brez avtomobila lokacija predstavlja izziv. Pri taki obilici sonca se vedno sprašujem, zakaj na začetku ali koncu sezone bazenska voda ni ogrevana.
Thomas (10/5): Tolle Unterkunft in wunderschöner apulischer Landschaft - Die Unterkunft war wunderschön und hat unsere Erwartungen noch übertroffen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und während unseres Aufenthalts immer wieder mit angenehmen Kleinigkeiten überrascht. Das ganze Team von Macchia Piccinna war äußerst zuvorkommend. Unsere Unterkunft war geräumig und ansprechend eingerichtet. Die Küche war ebenfalls gut ausgestattet, so dass man auch gut ein ganzes Abendessen zubereiten konnte. Die Gartenanlage mit dem großen Pool, ausreichend Sonnenliegen und den herrlichen Olivenbäumen war ein Traum. Ideal für Ruhesuchende. Auch die Lage zum nahen Ort Maruggio und zu den Stränden in Campomarino und Umgebung hat uns sehr gefallen. Nichts, es war alles perfekt.

Beatrix (9/5): - Das kleine Tinyhouse war praktisch eingerichtet, sehr sauber und die Lage absolut ruhig. Die Anlage hat einen tollen Pool. Das Allerbeste aber sind die Menschen hier. Immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf jede Frage/Anfrage gibt es eine Antwort bzw. wird der Wunsch erfüllt. Besonders schön fand ich, dass das Frühstück wahlweise auch ins Tinyhouse gebracht wird und man dort auf der Tersdde frühstücken kann. Außerdem konnte ich den Pasta Kurs buchen - es war eine Freude. James (8/5): - The pool area and grounds were beautifully maintained and very clean. The shared facilities (bathrooms near pool) were immaculate. The relaxation area and various swings for the kids were a nice touch. We were given figs from the farm which were delicious. The villa was spacious and even though there only being one air con unit in the main living area, the whole villa was cool despite the high outside temperatures. The kitchenette could have been better equipped - there were only two dinner knives and no sharp knife for chopping - appreciate they can’t provide every utensil but a larger range of items would improve the experience.

Louis (8/5): Eine moderne, gut gepflegte Unterkunft mit einem fantastischen Pool und authentischem italienischen - Ruhige neue Anlage. Toller großer Pool. Abstand zu den Nachbarhäusern, dadurch auch Privatsphäre. Es war beschrieben, dass die Unterkunft auch eine Waschmaschine hat. Leider nur mit Aufpreis. Betten waren leider unbequem.

Thea (8/5): A lovely family run accommodation, with kind and generous hosts and in a beautiful setting. - A lovely family run place, with lovely helpful hosts who made good local recommendations. The swimming pool is gorgeous and the backdrop of olive groves and fruit trees divine. We had a standard accommodation on the edge of the complex which was peaceful and had a lovely terrace with table and deck chairs. The bungalow was really well kitted out for self catering and there is an espresso machine by the pool. We had the breakfast one day, which was a lovely treat. With local pastries and delicacies such as sun dried figs with almonds (made on site) and prickly pear. We cycled to Commenda beach through olive groves and a sunset picnic which was gorgeous too. It was fine for us because we were set up for self catering, but there is no additional bar or restaurant on site. So book with a view that you cater for yourself or head out in the car for dinner. We liked Manduria for this.

Erwin (6/5): Disappointing, low value for money - + New and clean apartment + Nice swimming pool + The owners gave us recommendations for activities in the area - We expected a lot more for this price (225 euros per night). We traveled a lot through Southern Italy including the Salento. We experienced much more value for money at other accommodations. - The apartment is new and clean, but actually it is more of a cabin with thin walls (meaning that they do not hold any sound). - No facilities offered by the accommodation, e.g. gym, playground for kids, (small) bar. - The green on the location could be maintained better. The grass in the swimming pool looks very good, rest of park needs more attention. - We didn’t feel very welcome upon arrival. There was no welcome, only a very formal approach. A little word of welcome and/or welcome drink can make a big difference. - No airconditioning per room, only in the living room. - The surrounding is not so beautiful as other parts of the Salento, Maruggio itself is quite ugly. Shops and restaurants around are old and of poor quality.
