Guest Reviews
- Frederic (10/5): Best stay in Diani - I was very warmly welcomed by Vianny on my arrival at Seaclusion Diani. The room I booked was clean and comfortable with the added bonus of a whole wrap around balcony to myself! The catering was top notch, I really enjoyed the lobster dish I had for dinner and the Sausage and Cheese sandwich that cured my hangover! The espressos from the bar were so tasty. The stools in the pool are true luxurious so i could sip and swim. Special shout out to Miriam for being an all-round wonder woman with great a personality and banter. And to Vianny coming to the rescue and saving me from sleeping on the street when I lost my room key. Can’t wait to com back !

- Patrick (10/5): - Spacious modern rooms, very friendly and highly motivated stuff, huge pool, excellent food. Really a cozy and very comfortable place with excellent service to relax for a few days. Lacking mosquito nets at windows or at least above bed. There have been not many mosquitos thanks to dry season, elevated location and mosquito repellant devices in use. However, without mosquito nets some of them may always reach your bed at night...
- Josef (10/5): My stay at the Mombasa Airbnb was fantastic—everything was spotless, comfortable. - The host was super responsive and welcoming, with great tips for local spots. Prime location near beaches and eateries made exploring Mombasa effortless Everything was perfect—nothing to improve
- Bakison (9/5): Four Star hotel with a Fiver Star ambiance. If you loved Mediterranean mountain hotels, you certainly will love this one - Its quality of decor, swimming pool, large airy rooms with massive beds. Two AC systems in the room.
It is also a very quiet area. You get woken up by birds chirping and monkey sounds. Pukka!
The classy part for me was the swim-to poolside bar with dual sitting, wet in the water on one side and dry on the outer side. Never seen that before. As an ardent swimmer, the water seemed to be still and not circling such that for an outdoor pool, the water was on the warmer side.
- Hannah (7/5): Nice hotel walking distance from the beach - Nice staff, great pool, large bathroom, mini fridge and good air conditioning in the room Issues with the safe and window was broken in the bathroom
- YK (10/5): A gem in central Diani - Room was clean and spacious, with own balcony. Close to the centre but tucked away from the main road and quiet. All staff were very friendly and helpful, which made my stay very comfortable. If you are looking for a beach access, it's a short walk away from the beach. However, the hotel has a nice pool.
- Flaminia (9/5): Lovely stay in Diani - I loved how spacious, comfortable and clean the room was. The staff was lovely and super helpful. The property is conveniently located near the supermarket and not far from a beach access. Nothing in particular, the stay met my expectations.

- Barbara Dominika (9/5): - Sehr freundliches und professionelles Team, sehr schönes und sauberes Appartement.
- Graeme (10/5): Excellent - Excellent
- Déborah (10/5): Really nice place to be in Diani. The personal is so kind. This is my second time at this place ! - Everything
- vandevenne (8/5): - Friendly staff.
Food was amazing.
- Beatrice Kanyua (8/5): -
- Ana (10/5): -
- Catherine (10/5): - My best accommodation in Kenya !
Large rooms, clean and confortable, super food, friendly staff, excellent amenities. I will come back !
- Iain (8/5): Really good, thankyou - Friendly staff, nice pool.. fantastic room, very spacious and comfortable Not on thecbeachfront, but accommodatiin on the beachfront is much more expemsive
- Jens (9/5): - The staff is amazing. This place has everything you need! It's small but it gives you more a feeling of having a home! Loosing a few times a day the electricity, but It's a problem of Kenya and not of the accomodation. Welche to Africa :)

- Andrew (10/5): - Absolutely everything- host, location, food, accommodation and could carry on! Leaving
- Daniel (10/5): - Our stay in Seaclusion Diani was wonderful!
It was a perfect spot for us during our holiday.
The staff was extremely friendly and answered all our little questions, our room was spacious and clean and the whole pool area was cozy and enjoyable.
Last but not least: every meal we ate was delicious! We only wish we could have stayed longer.
- Wanyoike (9/5): -
- Judy (9/5): Awesome - wonderful room and facilities, the pool was superb and the food was amazing
- Agustin (10/5): I really had a good time there - The people really friendly! Of course I’m going back
- Shact (10/5): Home. - Seaclusion felt like home.
The warmth of the staff is honestly what makes this place unforgettable. I can’t even single anyone out because everyone was amazing — but if I had to, I’d mention the manager, Vianney, who is an absolute star. Nothing is ever too much for her. Terri and Miriam were just as wonderful — always smiling, always kind. Miriam especially had such beautiful energy; we even ended up having an impromptu career chat on the porch one day!
As two single women traveling, we felt completely safe and comfortable here — and couldn’t believe how affordable it was for what we got. The rooms are huge, the service is excellent, and the food was so good we barely left. You can even have meals brought to your room, but honestly, we were so relaxed we’d just sit outside in our pajamas.
A friend of ours stayed at a far more expensive resort up the road, and ours was undoubtedly better. Seaclusion has that rare, genuine warmth that money can’t buy.
Even though Diani Beach itself wasn’t my favourite destination, I’d come back in a heartbeat just to see the incredible women of Seaclusion again. It’s woman-owned, and you can feel it — from the thoughtful touches to the peaceful atmosphere. Nothing at all. Its perfect.
- Zihe (10/5): -
- Andreas (9/5): - Spacious rooms
Very clean
Big pool
Nice food
- Agnes (10/5): Quiet slice of paradise - Quiet ,peaceful ,lovely large rooms. Very clean and comfortable . Lovely patio sitting area. Helpful staff. Anne the manager was lovely and warm and gave us some great tips on things to do locally.
Beach access is across the road and the location of the accommodation is handy many local shops restaurants with a short Tuk tuk ride ! That we couldn't stay longer !
- Jalvir (8/5): -
- Tonny (10/5): - The friendly staff
- alexander (9/5): Lovely place - Great breakfast Nothing
- tracey (9/5): -
- Abdelfatah (7/5): Good hotel sadly was given a room with a very small TV. Shower needs pressure - It’s close to shops & restaurants. Large room with a terrace. Big bathroom. Very friendly staff & managers.
Non smoking room Shower has low pressure
TV very small for the large room
Electricity kept cutting out throughout my stay.
WiFi not fast enough.
- Debbie (8/5): Comfortable, quiet room ...walking access to beach. - Great hotel staff...very helpful in setting up tours and getting transportation. Extremely large, clean room. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Location approximately half a block off the main road. Good Italian restaurant next door. Approx 15 minute walk or easy tuk tuk ride to the beach.
- Beverly (10/5): Calmand wholesome - Good ambience, spacious and friendly staff. Absolutely loved it!
- Daniel (9/5): -
- yehoshua (10/5): - Plesent please good service good people Everything
- Trondy (10/5): -
- Julianus (6/5): Probably you can find a better accomodation in the area. - The room was very large. The service isn't up to western standards, that would be ok if they charged a local price or if the staff was responsive. unfortunately neighter is the case.
- Andreas (9/5): Nice hotel, will go there again -
- Anna (8/5): Great place to stay in the heart of Diani - Great location (only few minutes away from shops, restaurants and the beach), very friendly and helpful staff, spacious room, very clean. Would definitely recommend. Nothing
- Walter (8/5): -
Brudne materace. Łóżka 2 podwoje, w rezerwacji miało być 1 podwójne i 2 pojedyncze.
- Evans (8/5): Very good - The facility is very quiet and conveniently located close to the beach, shops, airport and main road which is a plus. The unit is clean, spacious and staff are friendly. They should find a way to have the kitchen open for at least up to 10pm for late eaters.
- Nicola (9/5): Superb -
- Musyoka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chido (8/5): Perfect to be - Very Quiet place The slow heating up of geyser
- Maryan (10/5): Our home in diani ✨ - A stunning boutique hotel with beautiful spacious rooms, a wide breezy terrace, a spotless baby pool, and a lovely kids’ play area. Seaclusion exceeded all my expectations. The restaurant was immaculate, calm, and served delicious à la carte meals. Cleanliness was 10/10 throughout.
As a mother traveling solo with a small child, this place gave me something rare: peace of mind, from Katan at the gate, Vianny at reception, Tere at the restaurant, Kahindi at concierge, and Miriam from room service — you were the helping hands I didn’t know I needed.
Vianny and Tere, I owe you both a heartfelt thank you for going above and beyond from check-in to check-out. Your care turned what could’ve been a tough trip into a truly magical stay.
Seaclusion is more than a destination — it’s our home in Diani. We’ll be back many times again Insha’Allah.
- Elijah (10/5): I loved staying at Seaclusion! - Daily housekeeping. Nice staff. Decent food at restaurant. A little bit secluded so difficulties with finding property for some couriers and drivers
- Martina (9/5): Very lovely experience - Very nice big rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely terrace that we shared with our friends next door. The pool was also very clean and great for a relax and you can use the hotel restaurant for a food and/or get drinks. The beach is close but might be a bit challenging to find a place where you can rent a sunbed (we were there off season, not sure if that was why). Unfortunately no warm (at least warm, no need of hot) water on rainy days so it was a bit uncomfortable. Mosquito nets in the windows would be a great improvement as it could help us avoid using AC during the night.
- Julian (8/5): Very good -
- Tonny (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - Great Property, enormous room and lovely staff.
Easy walk to the shopping centre.
- Gladys (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay, I felt well cared for. Exceeded my expectations. Will be back. - The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the beach. It is quiet ideal space to work or just rest. Rooms are very spacious and they have a room on ground floor suitable for those with disability. Right from the ramp to access the room and bathroom with support handles and a sitting stool for use during bathing. Breakfast is ala carte and made to your preference. Clean and well maintained swimming pool. Almost forgot to mention the staff and very professional and friendly out to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Honestly, nothing. The only challenge I had was that the Uber drivers kept getting lost, I think the google maps are not as accurate in picking the exact location thought staff was helpful in always guiding the drivers
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Lumsdon (10/5): Huge room, great staff, great value - Nice location set back from the beach with dome nice bars and restaurants close by. Huge room with massive balcony overlooking the pool. Was off season so Diani was very quiet but was hot and sunny each day I was there. Toilet was uncomfortable to sit on
- Fred (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - My 5 stay at Seaclusion Diani was excellent.
Very clean and large room with minibar.
Walking 🚶♀️ distance to the beach and shopping centre.
I can recommend Seaclusion Diani.
A lovely 😍 place.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Inna (9/5): I miss you, Diani, I miss you, Kenya - As it usually happens in Kenya, people are the most precious thing here. They are always ready to help, they are always very pleasant in communication. The comfort of the rooms is more consistent with a suite than a simple room. There is an exit to the balcony, rather it is a huge terrace in order to meet the sunrises and listen to the birds. It was a special stay at Diani beach The rooms are so big that the air conditioners can't always handle :-)
- Gloria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mustafa (10/5): I had a comfortable holiday at an affordable price. - The cleanliness of the hotel, the smiling faces and friendliness of the management and employees were very pleasing. I was very pleased. I recommend it.
- Vando (10/5): Best area amazing hotel - I loved the location and the staff is very friendly, everyone but specially Michael at the door, super nice. The hotel got an easy access and the area a super nice and chilled. Everything was great, the only thing I would say is that it took around 30min to check me but I wasn’t rushing so it was all good, but someone else could find this a problem .
- Beldine (8/5): Very good - Very clean and spacious rooms with functional air conditioners and good WiFi You have to order the food like an hour in advance as it takes time to prepare.
- Hillary (9/5): A lovely place to stay for a visit to the Kenyan coast :) - The pool was great and the proximity to the beach, grocery stores and restaurants was perfect for us. We always felt safe. The staff are all super friendly and very helpful - we had a long wait on our last day before going to the airport and they were very accommodating, allowing us to use the pool and facilities for the morning and afternoon after checking out. Thank you for a lovely stay!
- Eric (9/5): A perfectly quiet serene stay in Diani. - The staff were kind , the room was spacious , location is great with amenities around. It's close to the famous Ali Barbour's , forty thieves beach bar, clubs and Diani shopping center. The property is quiet for wa workaccation or vacation. The food was delicious , fresh and affordable. They also allow night swimming though at your own risk no life guard. The balcony humongous. The swimming pool cleaning could be done earlier for anyone who wants to swim in the morning before it becomes hot. The AC to my room was leaking water to my balcony could be rectified.
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
Staff are friendly,courteous
Rooms are spacious
Host is amazing
Food is fresh & tasty
The service in the hotel is amazing Nothing
- Charity (8/5): Very good - Excellent customer service! Shout out to Vianny who checked us in/out .She was so kind and welcoming .Rooms are very spacious and clean.
Enough Air Con in the rooms for the hot weather. The food at the restaurant was slightly pricey but could taste better. Please don't add milk to fresh juices as well😔.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Wagner (7/5): Good - Very spacious and clean room with very friendly staff Some off the things are dated in the room such as the air conditioner, the windows structure and the food can be improved.
- Monika (9/5): Nice place for a weekend get-away - It is a nice place to stay for a weekend get-away. Staff was nice, food was good, and we really enjoyed the pool. It is in a walking distance from a supermarket and restaurants (lovely pizza place), and the beach is also just a short walk away. Our room was huge and comfortable with two big balconies to relax on. I like everything. Maybe the pool could have more shade, so that we could have enjoyed it more even during the daytime when the sun was strong.
- Alan (10/5): Fantastic peaceful little boutique hotel with amazing friendly staff and close to amenities - Great little boutique hotel with amazing friendly staff. Very close to amenities such as supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and of course the beach. Also very peaceful and quiet. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and my room was great. That I couldn't stay longer!
- Nikolas (10/5): I want to thank everyone at the property for making my work trip there much easier by your friendly and superior service - Friendly, accommodating, convenient location, quiet, small enough to get to know the staff. Nothing
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Cecilia (8/5): Memorable - Beautiful Nothing
- M. (10/5): Counting the days 'till I can come back! - Seaclusion is close to all one would need when on holiday - the beach, major restaurants, bars and even the mall. The host was such a gem, and she gave us the best recommendations for the best spots to visit during our time in Diani (which she knows like the back of her hand). The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food is lovely, with both local and continental cuisine available.
- Eldad (8/5): Very good - Good location and very standard facilities
Though for this price I’d expect a bit more. Pool is kinda dirty, the pool bar isn’t got enough selection of drinks, balcony doesn’t have lights
- Jaroslaw (8/5): Very good -
- Loise (9/5): Superb - "My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Seaclusion! The place was spotlessly clean, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well-kept, with daily room service that added to the comfort of our stay. While Seaclusion is not beachfront, the beach is just a short 10-minute walk away, which was very convenient. The meals were absolutely delicious, and the portions were generous, leaving us fully satisfied after every meal. It’s a great spot for couples looking for a serene getaway!" One thing that could have been improved was the handling of discounted breakfast prices from Booking.com.
- Evans (9/5): Superb -
- Sophia (10/5): Absolutely fantastic - We were absolutely pleasantly surprised. The hotel more than exceeded our expectations. The staff were fantastically friendly and the customer service was simply excellent. They made it possible for us to check out late, changed our meal times, brought food to our room, etc. Simply great, friendly and attentive. Furthermore, the pool was large and clean, the rooms spacious, clean and beautiful with a great balcony.
Best value for money we have ever had. Nothing
- Bojan (10/5): Great value - Great location, close easy walk to the beach, grossery shop, restourants, bakery, bars…all you need.
Our room was huge on ground floor, very comfortable bad, 2 pillows. Very clean.
Great value for money. We would stay again here.
- Hillary (9/5): Superb -
- Donatas (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice place All was good
- Nathan (10/5): I loved my stay at Seaclusion! Viany and Meju made me feel at home and were so kind! - loved the pool and the staff are amazing!! that I had to leave!
- Tim (7/5): Decent place, away from the beach - Like other reviews, the room was big, for “hotel” standards. The bathroom could easily hold 20 people. We had Room 1, on the first floor, with a walk out porch to the pool, which was really convenient. The food was good and everyone is very nice. It’s not as close to the beach as we thought🥴. It’s a good 12 minute walk, along a very busy road so I wouldn’t reco this place if you have small kids. The furniture in the room is old and could use some sprucing up. The “lobby” area looks like a mish-mash of furniture from a yard sale. Kids (not guests) are always hanging out there, on their phones or playing video games. The feeling is more of you’re in someone’s well-worn home who has 5 kids than in a Bed & Breakfast or a boutique hotel. Baby blankets, toys, old magazines is the theme of the lobby. A bit disappointing for a place that had such high reviews.
