- Michael (10/5): Fantastic apartment, walking distance to everything in the city center. - Due to room availability I was upgraded to the apartment just next to the hotel for the first night. I enjoyed it so much I paid 15,000 to stay in it for the next two nights. Super strong Wifi. Walk-in shower, separate toilet and sink room, full cooking facilities. Location is great, easy walking distance to everything in the city center. There's a 24 hour grocery store directly across the street and a food court on the second floor with about 20 to choose from. It needs a mirror above the sink in the bathroom, I suggested it to Simbot at the front desk. Everything else was great.

- Albert (9/5): Отличный вариант в центре Еревана - Удобное расположение в центре города, напротив - большой торговый центр с гастрономом, фудкортом и пунктом обмена валюты. Приемлемая цена для трехместного номера. Вежливый персонал на ресепшен. Чисто, аккуратно, тихо, культурно. После выезда из номера можно было оставить вещи на несколько часов. Неприятный запах в санузле на мансардном этаже. Отсутствие лифта, с чемоданами по крутой лестнице на 3-й этаж тяжеловато подниматься. Отель предлагал трансфер из аэропорта за 6000 драм (в одну сторону). Фактически через Яндекс-такси добрались в гостиницу за 1700 драм, обратно в аэропорт - за 1300 драм.

- IGOR (9/5): Хорошее место недалеко от центра Еревана - Неплохое расположение, близко от центра, рядом круглосуточный супермаркет. Персонал дружелюбный, на цокольном этаже есть кухня с микроволновкой и посудой. В номере - холодильник. Если номер на верхних этажах, то надо подниматься по достаточно крутой лестнице, с чемоданом не очень удобно.

All the sights are within walking distance of the hotel, and there is a large supermarket right across the street. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the toiletries. I would definitely come back again!

- Stephanie (9/5): Nice hotel - Room was nice and clean and good sized. Reception was 24 hours. Location is not quite in the centre however it's an easily walkable city so everything was close. Arrived 1:30am. They had helped organise a transfer pickup. I think it's slightly more expensive than a regular taxi however because of the time I arrived, the convenience of the expense made the extra expense worth it. Needed to pay with cash, however they didn't have change. Luckily there was a supermarket and food hall across the street however if they had a cash only policy they should have change available.

- Katjakaterina (10/5): Exceptional - A very nice and comfortable hotel in the city centre. The rooms are nicely decorated, there is enough space. It was our second time in Yerevan and we are happy to have chosen this hotel. The personal was very friendly and helpful. There is no breakfast offered, however, there is a shopping mall with a food court nearby. There is no lift, which was not a problem for us, but could be for some elder people.

- Kristina (8/5): Good location, nice decor - The location, the room itself It was clean when cleaned I booked a specific room which was sold to another guest on our arrival and we were downgraded for the first night. No compensation was offered for this. In 8 nights we were there, the room was cleaned 3 times. We had to ask for it to be cleaned, it’s not done by default. No coffee, tea amenities in the room. There was a kettle but no cups.

- Stine (3/5): Good location, but that's about it. - The location was very good. Even though it was in a back alley, it was a great location for us. And the room was big (but it wasn't the room we had booked). First of all. If you don't speak armenian or russian, you can't communicate with the staff. They could barley speak english. We had booked a suite with kitchen and a mountain view. The booking even said we would have wine or champange on our room. The day we arrived we were told that the water did not work in out room, and we got put in an "apartment" beside the hotel. In the apartment the toilet was out in the hallway, and we had two large windows out to the street, but only one curtain. We were told that we would get the room we booked the next day. The next day we got a room inside the hotel, but it wasn't the room we booked. There was no kitchen, no mountain view and no wine/champange. When we confronted the man in the reception about this he just said that he could not do anything about it because he was not the manager. As neither him or the other receptionist (those were the only two we saw at the hotel the time we were there) could speak english it was impossible for us to get the room we had booked and payed for.

- Maxim (4/5): Would avoid - There's a big supermarket near, working 24/7 - room was dirty - bad smell from the sink - bed linen was torn and overused - no elevator, so you have to be fit to move your luggage on a 3rd floor by a tiny windy stairs - reception area doesn't have any water or whatsoever - facade of the hotel is facing outskirts and alleys of the city - room doesn't have any bottles of water as well - our room had low ceiling due to roof

- Katherine (6/5): You can find better for the same price - The hotel is well-located in Yerevan, as it is next to a large grocery store but also within a 10-minute walk of anything worth seeing. The staff is good-natured and do their best in English, despite linguistics limitations. The room itself was fine, but it was not a suite, as advertised - just a large room. There is parking available next door, but it is a free-for-all parking, a so space is not guaranteed. The room was advertised as a suite, but it is not. It is a large room with a sitting area. There is no hot plate and no small kitchen, only a small fridge and a kettle. As the reception is at the bottom of the staircase and the whole area is made out of wood, the sound carries to the room and it is quite noisy. On a few occasion, I could still hear people chatting at reception past 10pm. The room was poorly cleaned (lots of dust under the furniture) and they only offer cleaning every other day.
- Nikola (4/5): Only location - ONLY LOCATION! We’ve had an organised transfer through the hotel. When we’ve arrived we’ve been transferred to another hotel - old Yerevan hotel without prior notice due to water/pipe problems at the Renaysance /as we’ve been told/. On the 3rd day of our stay, we’ve been told that we will be transferred to our original hotel booking Renaysance. When we’ve arrived, we have been met by the receptionist lady who told us that a room has not been reserved/arranged for us despite being told so by the manager at the old Yerevan hotel /which was a nice and helpful lady - Sandra/. The receptionist at the Renaysance was quite nasty and said that she will put us in a deluxe room for the night /as the only available one/ but on the next day we will have to move /yet again/ to another room as we haven’t paid for the same room /despite showing her our booking confirmation/. Nevertheless, even if we didnt paid for the same room they should’ve offered to compensate us for all the hassle we’ve been through. After the intervention of Sandra /the manager of the Old Yerevan Htl/ after our call to her, we have been left to stay at the same room, however the bitter experience of arguing over this left us with very bad taste of the treatment we’ve received from them. Even though the receptionist at the Renaysance later on tried on many attempts to calm us down after she realised what she’s done and how she treated us….it was overall a bad experience - despite the hotel being quite nice and located centrally in Yerevan. Few other points: no telephone for connection with reception, noisy stairs - so no peace to rest, no working tv, broken door of the wardrobe - so not entirely usable, no coffee/tea glasses.
- Ewing33 (8/5): Very good - Everything was fine. The place is clean, quiet, my room was cosy, bathroom spacious and clean, hot water plentiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is convieniently central, all attractions within walking distance. For a short stay Royal Renaissance was quite good. They didn't accept payment by card (not only cards issued in Russia, my Italian friends had the same problem), so you have to go to the ATM in the nearby supermarket (few meters away) to get cash. The residence is located a hundred meters away from the street in the backyard, its safe and quiet but surroundings are not very splendid.

- Carmen (8/5): I would recommend - Very nice staff, great communication, helpful with any request/question. Great wifi. I had 2 separate bookings (as my flight was changed) with different category rooms. But they were nice and provided me an upgrade to an apartment equipped with kitchenette located next to the main building. The room was big, comfortable and clean. The location is next to a supermarket open 24/7 and a food court opened until 10pm. A bit of traffic due to the supermarket 24/7. Even if it is not located on a main street, and it looks like a side alley, it was safe enough. As I mentioned, they were nice to upgrade me to the apartment, but the shower room and the toilet (separate) would need a bit of improvement/renovation.

Supermarket, restaurants and bus stop for the airport within one minute walk. Very pleasant stay. All good, no complaints.

- Simona (5/5): Passable - Location is great. Alissa at the reception is a caring person. She was always available while on duty. And she helped find another room because the room initially given, did not have many of the facilities as it was supposed to. It was a tiny room in the basement having no facilities such the fridge, on the contrary of what it was stated in my reservation. No possibility for breakfast, the service is not offered. The change to a better room having view and facilities, as for our reservation, was deemed as upgrade and we paid more although it was a good price (maybe because the WC flush had some issues, such as flooding the floor) I suggest the reception should provide for city maps and tourist leaflets for tours in and outside the city. Garbage was taken only once in 4 days.

Just remember that you may be asked to pay cash. - The location is really good, in the city center and can go to many attractions by walk The receptionist asked cash to pay, which is kinda inconvenient. Also, when I asked the staff to do me a favor, which is to exchange 2 euros for 800AMD( I was leaving and don't have cash in AMD), they also refused. So for me it's less perfect.

- Prashant (2/5): Not to advise for a family. - City center location, super markets, Republic square and other places are reachable by walk. Very congested, no lifts and rooms for a family usually given on 3rd-4th floor (be ready to carry all bags on that floor through narrow circular steps). Bathroom stink/bad smell through out stay (even air freshener does not help much). The rooms are too small with no moving space. Room heater was not effective for cold days. There is no kettle or microwave provided though its mentioned kitchen is included.

Had small issue with the room and it was instantly fixed. Will come back again! A bit thin walls, you can hear other people talking in the lobby if they are loud, but it’s not critical at all.

- Ivaylo (9/5): very good one, highly recommended - The hotel is very much decent compared to other hotels in Armenia. It can be compared to hotels like Marriott and Erebuni, which are in much higher price category. Great interior, have parking, and also a big supermarket meters away. Close to the center. Every room have AC. Maybe the winner of "price - performance" category. Very pleased with it and a frequent visitor. Bad points: the alley of the hotel looks a shady one, but no problems there. The problem is that it is narrow and with car sometimes it is difficult to reach the hotel. The parking is shared, so at busy times for the market it is hard to find a parking place. When you book a room, you never know exactly which room you booked. Two of the rooms are in the basement and although being very luxury, the windows are small and some people may have problems with that (I don't).

- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - My wife and I decided to visit sunny Armenia for the first time. We arrived quite late, but a friendly guy met us at the door and helped us with our suitcases, the staff was very friendly and responsive to any questions that interested us, they were always happy to help and tell us what to visit in Yerevan. the room was clean and quite spacious. We will definitely consider this option when we decide to return to Armenia again, I recommend this option to everyone, having visited it you will only be left with good impressions.
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional - I travel a lot because of my job. My friend and I were in Yerevan for the first time, it's a pity that for one day. The hotel was found on booking. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted very well, we were shown real Armenian hospitality. Just great staff, very kind and helpful people. The rooms are clean, there is free Wi-Fi in every room. All the furniture is new, there are large TVs, you can watch your favorite movies in the evening. There is also a small kitchen in the hotel, there is tea and coffee, and all this is free. Another plus is the location of the hotel, in the center of Yerevan, there are many attractions nearby, a supermarket is open 24/7, many restaurants. in general, we recommend it to everyone, this is really one of the best hotels)) We will definitely come back and this time for a long time

- Aleksandr (10/5): Exceptional - A comfy hotel in a nice location (close to downtown + huge supermarket with a food court a few steps away). Everybody working there were absolutely lovely, 2 women in charge of the reception and a lady in charge of cleaning were very sweet and helpful. The room itself was clean, had a big TV, good AC and comfy beds. There is a kitchen downstairs where you can cook something or get tea/coffee + a lounge zone with a tv. Overall, I am super happy with my choice and can certainly recommend this hotel! 😊 Also there's a Museum of modern art very close to the hotel, recommend going there, a lot of beautiful works ❤️🔥 Everything was great! Just be mindful of the ceiling in the room on the top floor, I hit my head a few times 😅

Friendly staff helped with all questions, Sandra met us and told us about excursions, where to go and where to eat, she was very kind and allowed us to leave our things after check-out before the evening.
