• Douglas (8/5): Bom quarto localizado perto da praia da Padang - O quarto fica a menos de dois minutos da praia de Padang Padang, o que é excelente. Tem um restaurante também que a comida é muito boa! O quarto é centralizado e perto de muitas feirinhas de rua, o que gostamos demais. Fique atento: A água do chuveiro é gelada, mas isso foi avisado antes da reserva e como faz muito calor em Uluwatu, isso não nos incomodou.

• Monika (8/5): - Lokalizacja. Obiekt tuż obok Padang Padang. Blisko także do innych plaż. Bardzo miły personel. Do przykrycia był koc, a nie prześcieradło. Był jednak czysty. Niedogodnością był brak ciepłej wody, ale dostałam informację po rezerwacji i mogłam ją odwołać

• Maria Esther (10/5): Al lado de la playa de Padang, Padang! Todo genial - Muy buena localización, en pleno centro y al lado de la playa Padang, Padang. El sitio estaba muy limpio, sencillo, pero con todo lo necesario para pasar varios días en Uluwatu. Tienen un restaurante que se come muy bien y las personas que lo regentan son encantadoras y buena gente. Muy buena calidad-precio. No hay agua caliente, pero eso no es un problema con el calor que hace en Uluwatu. Además, te avisan con antelación de dicho incidente antes de tu llegada por mensaje de Booking

En muestra habitación había un nido de bichos, termitas en todos los muebles, la puerta no cerraba bien y entraban más bichos, la pila estaba atascada y no paraba de gotear... Y lo peor es que no había forma de explicarlo porque la dueña no habla ni una palabra de inglés. Está por allí un chico australiano con un acento cerradísimo que tampoco se le entiende. Llevamos varias semanas viajando por Indonesia y hemos estado en todo tipo de alojamientos, este ha sido el peor con diferencia. Quieren que pagues en cash y no te dan ni siquiera un recibo. Pagas el primer día y no vuelves a cruzarte con nadie más hasta que te vas.

• Nóbrega (8/5): Simples , agradável e acolhedora - Gostamos muito da localização e do restaurante. Todos os funcionários são super amigáveis.Acabámos por fazer quase todas as refeições no restaurante pela qualidade e preço acessível. Não tinha água quente e tinha muito barulho da rua. Mas para uma visita temporária serve perfeitamente.
• Fortes Pardo (6/5): Bastante barato, pero algo cutre - Está muy bien ubicado, en la calle principal, por lo que está rodeado de restaurantes y estás enfrente de la entrada de Padang Padang beach. El personal es amable. Está limpio y el aire acondicionado funciona bien. Es bastante barato, pero es cutre. La ducha no tiene agua caliente, te dejan dos toallas llenas de manchas (no era suciedad, eran manchas de las que no se quitan por mucho que las laves) y las dos camas solo tienen una bajera y una manta, además la almohada es bastante incómoda.

• Yelyzaveta (8/5): At this price point, it’s almost impossible to find accommodation so close to the beach in Uluwatu, which is definitely - Great location — the beach is just a short walk away, and it’s easy to reach other nearby beaches as well. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. The place is quite simple, but it’s a good and budget-friendly option for a couple of nights. The bed was also comfortable. I was aware in advance that the property is located near a road, and the traffic noise didn’t bother me. However, it was quite uncomfortable that throughout the day — and especially at night — there was a loud scratching noise coming from the roof of my room, which made it hard to sleep. Other guests had already mentioned the unpleasant smell from the drains when taking a shower, and I can confirm this issue still exists. Also, the hole in the bed cover and the torn curtain take away from the overall comfort of the place.

• Gabriela (9/5): Very good - Bed comfortable, bathroom spacious. I’ts simple but lovely. I was sick and the asked all my questions and came to my room to check how I was one day. That was very nice from them. It’s very close to Padang Padang and many nice restaurants. The only bad thing is that there is no hot water, but I asked them about it before so I already knew it.

The bathroom was not super clean, more specifically the toilet. Plus I think there should be some hot water option in the shower, though I don't know if this is technically possible.

• Jovana (8/5): Simple but good - Location is beyond amazing, you can walk by foot. Just 5 min to padang padang and all the great restaurants. Room is very simple but it was good enough for me and 2 nights. But for longterm it would be great to have at least a fridge. Also cold water in the shower.

• Anna (10/5): Excellent stay with outstanding hosts - Fantastic location, only a short distance from the beach and very close to lots of good restaurants but the property itself is not right next to the road so not too busy. The Cempaka cafe next to the property served fantastic food, and the staff were all really lovely. The first room we stayed in unfortunately had some leaking in the bathroom due to the heavy rain, however they kindly moved us to a different room that was just as lovely. They were also very helpful when cleaning the room, as they would amend the time they came to match our schedule. The rooms have a good amount of space, they were clean and had good AC. They also have a nice patio area outside with some chairs and a place to hang any wet clothes / towels. Absolutely fantastic service from start to finish, would definitely stay here again.

• Iryna (8/5): Perfect room, but close to road - very noisy - The room is perfect for this budget with everything you need I would not come back to this homestay only because its very close to the road - its impossible to sleep if you are sensitive to noise. I had to use earplugs but still could hear scooters.
• Jani (9/5): Superb - Everything was clean and nice. Location is excellent. Great restaurant. Can totally recommend this place! First night we had lot of ants in our room but the owner came and took care of it even it was in the middle of the night. So it wasn't a big issue.
• Markéta (8/5): If you dont need much then it´s perfect - The location was perfect! Very close to the beach and on a road with an actual sidewalk! The restaurant connected to the homestay is amazing, real indonesian dishes for a great price. The people who run the place are also very nice :) The room is quite dark and not very cosy. For the price it is still fair though. You can hear the traffic but hey, it’s Bali!

Nice warung connected to the property. The room had a mildewy smell and the usual indo drain smell when the shower was running. Lots of traffic noise but being near the road was handy too.

Not having the option of hot water for bathing is unacceptable in a place of accommodation, it is something basic beyond what it is worth. A shame because its location and everything else is very good.

• Hayet (2/5): Cempaka Homestay needs serious improvements to offer a minimum level of comfort to its guests. The high rating on Bookin - • The hotel’s location is excellent, close to all local amenities and attractions. • The staff is kind and helpful, despite some service shortcomings. • We booked one room with a double bed and one room with two double beds, but honestly, these double beds are very small. • The comfort rating of 8.5/10 in the reviews is exaggerated. For us, it’s only a 2/10. • During our three-day stay, the rooms were never cleaned, and we even ran out of toilet paper. • The room amenities are insufficient: no bidet for cleaning, no toilet brush, no glass for brushing teeth, and only one small window with inadequate lighting. • There is no fridge to keep our drinks cool in this heat. • Cleanliness is questionable, with visible humidity in the rooms and musty-smelling pillows. • The beds are extremely hard, causing back pain, and the pillows are not comfortable. • External noise (cars, motorcycles, trucks) makes it difficult to sleep for light sleepers. • There are very few electrical outlets in the room. There are none in the bathroom. In the room, there is one at each bedhead and one higher up. I strongly advise bringing a power strip to charge all your gadgets. • There were many large red ants crawling on the walls, which did not add to the impression of cleanliness. • The hotel’s restaurant is disorganized. The service is slow, with dishes arriving at different times, preventing us from eating together. Additionally, the staff struggles to understand customer requests. • We had to leave the hotel at 7:00 AM and there was no one available to check us out.
