• Howie W (10/5): THIS is the place you're looking for! - SO much to like! Sparkling clean, well appointed, quiet, the view, amazing and very helpful hosts. Might be our top stay on our 10 week road trip. I wish we were staying longer. Didn't like that we had planned to stay such a short time.

However, as we were leaving, we found a ramp sidewalk we hadn’t noticed which we could have used
• Thorben (10/5): Wunderbare, gemütliche Wohnung mit super Ausblick! - Die Unterkunft ist super geräumig, modern und schön eingerichtet, wirklich gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Der Ausblick beim Aufwachen ist unschlagbar. Es gibt sogar ein leichtes Frühstück. Das Highlight sind aber definitiv die Gastgeber - da fühlt man sich direkt Zuhause! Nichts - alles perfekt!

• Anna (10/5): - Die Unterkunft ist super modern und schön eingerichtet. Der Blick aufs Meer ist atemberaubend. Die Inhaber Monty und Brenda sind wahnsinnig nett und hilfsbereit. Im Kühlschrank wurden uns leckere Crossaint, Joghurts, Müsli, Saft und Milch bereitgestellt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen.

We had milk, juice, fruit and yoghurt left for our breakfast. Fantastic views over the sea. Monty came to welcome us and gave us great recommendations and even sent us Google map routes. Nothing. It was an exceptional property!

• Mahasti (10/5): - The best accommodation I´ve had on all my travels. Everything is tastefully furnished and of high quality, and nothing is missing. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. The view from the appartment terrace is fantastic. Unfortunately, we only booked three nights. We would have loved to stay longer.

Ein super Ausblick von der Terrasse, die Ausstattung ist perfekt, großes TV vorhanden- wenn man Wert drauf legt. Küchenausstattung reichhaltig, sogar Ofen vorhanden - wenn man mal ne Pizza machen will. Großes bequemes Bett, sehr nette Vermieter. Wir würden sofort wieder hier buchen, da man die sehr schöne Unterkunft sehr schnell über gute Verkehrsanbindung erreichen kann. Monty and Brenda gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the home. It was fabulous. Lovely touches like nice bathroom products, the hairstyling items (mine wouldn’t work !). The welcome items in the fridge. The lovely card as it was my birthday. Could not fault it. Nothing
• Tara (10/5): Incredible place we will be back - I’d read all the reviews before booking and they were all 100 correct. We stayed for 7 nights and had an amazing time. The suite itself was perfect - a kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The living room had very comfy reclining couches which were so relaxing after a long day of exploring. The view was incredible overlooking the water and the location was perfectly situated for exploring all over the island. It was immaculately clean and the hosts had thought of every need including blankets on the chairs outside to relax with. The hosts themselves were amazing. They left us breakfast items in the fridge which was very much appreciated as we arrived late in the evening and hadn’t had a chance to grocery shop yet. Monty came to greet us the next morning offering us his tips on where to visit and places to see including a printed list of restaurants and breweries. He also sent us google map itineraries with routes and suggested stops along the way. They even came and did a midweek clean and linen/towel change for us. It was truly an amazing place - the island and the suite - we will definitely be back and are so thankful to have been able to stay in the most perfect place. Nothing to mention!

• Josy (10/5): Exceptional - Monty and Brenda are amazing hosts! They went above and beyond our expectations. The amenities in their apartment, from the kitchen to the outdoor patio with the million dollars view, are phenomenal! Everything was thought so that guests have a delightful stay. They even offer to do a quick clean-up and fresh linens a couple of times throughout our stay since we were there for over a week! The breakfast fixings with the homemade jams and jellies were a bonus that we appreciated a lot. Monty and Brenda really care that their guests have a wonderful experience on Vancouver Island and provided us with many great things and adventures to do in the area. They are very knowledgeable of the area and do not hesitate to ask them any questions, I am sure they will have an answer for you. Thanks again!

• Rhonda (10/5): Loved it, had our breakfasts on the back patio, plus a relaxing sunset dinner! - The view was outstanding, Monty came down when we arrived and gave us a quick overview of the place, plus they left us fresh made granola, fruit, yogurt and English muffins for breakfast. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.
• Catherine (10/5): Breathtaking Views with at-home comfort, so much better than a hotel - The location was AMAZING! The view of the ocean was spectacular, especially in the mornings. Our hosts were very accommodating, and even left us fresh granola, yogurts, juice, milk, water, and even some butter for our toast! The suite was gorgeous, high ceilings, a lovely polished concrete floor with radiant heat, providing a cozy environment. Not to mention the massage chairs you can enjoy while watching some televison. Truly a luxurious experience, 1000/10! Wish we booked a longer stay!
• Kathleen (10/5): A luxurious retreat with astounding views. - This is a lovely property, with views of the strait and the islands. The owners are very kind and friendly, and although breakfast was not supposed to be included, they left breakfast food in the refrigerator for us. There were reclining sofas with heat and massage. The price was very good for a lodging this wonderful. We hope to return! Not a thing.
• Klaassen (8/5): Fantastic! I would definitely recommend to friends and family! - I LOVED the view! The place is beautifully designed and it was a pleasure to relax in such a well designed minimalist yet well appointed home. The breakfast treats they left were also perfect! Although the couches seemed like a very fancy option, I didn’t find them comfortable to lounge in and so I had to read in bed. I also found the comforter to be way too thick for the temperature of the bedroom. I was looking for a thinner option in the closet and some thinner pillows as options would have been wonderful as well.

• Thorben (10/5): Perfect stay - I don’t know where to start but we had the perfect stay at Brenda’s & Monty’s home! First of all - the view is spectacular and a good reason to wake up for sunset l. The location is quiet and by car there are many shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment itself is well equipped, spacious and very clean. The bed was comfy and we had a good rest. But the hosts are what makes it special. Monty provided many recommendations for hikes and our itinerary. Couldn’t ask for more and we will definitely come back. Thanks for having us :) Nothing
• Viktorija (10/5): Look no further; this is the place where you want to stay. - The place is amazing! I usually don't leave reviews unless it's a crazy bad OR super good experience. So, it is that good. Everything is exceptional: the place, how clean and quiet it is, the location, the kitchen and how well-equipped it is, the bedroom with a view and a comfortable bed, the living room with recliners (my husband's favorite spot to chill), AND the hosts! The most caring hosts you can meet. We felt very welcomed and were sad to leave. They also provided breakfast and all the best recommendations for the island. I don't think there is a better place to stay on Vancouver Island for a couple. The place is located quite centrally on the island, so everything is close if you travel by car.
• Sujit (10/5): Comfortable stay with exceptional views - The location was very wonderful. The accommodation is separate from the main residence and has its own entrance. The views from the patio/entrance overlooking the water is to die for with beautiful sunsets. Even the bedroom overlooks the water and the dining space has good views. Monty was a very thoughtful host and provided extensive recommendations for places to visit and to eat in. The king size bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The accommodation is very clean and full of amenities including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Breakfast is available and is well worth the money. Highly recommended. I definitely plan to return in the future.
• Danielle (10/5): Stunning views in a cozy & clean modern suite - 5 ⭐️ Stay!!!! - First of all - that view was next level!!! My jaw dropped as soon as I arrived. Aside from that, the suite was perfection - it was so spacious, bright & clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were so soft. They had all the amenities I needed. The hosts were so kind leaving little pastries, yogurt, juice and fruit out for me. I travel for work a lot and these little touches go such a long way. I don't always have time to stop and grab things on my way in, so it really shows the care and attention of the hosts. The owners were communicative and the check in was simple (just a key in a lock box) so I didn't have to worry about my arrival timing. I will 100% be rebooking this place anytime I have work in the area.... I wish I could have stayed even longer, I'm going to book an extra night the next time I'm in town. This place is a dream!!! Look no further if you're on the hunt for somewhere to stay. 10s across the board!!! Nothing at all!
• Janine (10/5): A relaxing, beautiful home base to explore the east coast of Vancouver Island. - Overall, Brenda and Monty were fantastic. They were extremely welcoming and accommodating! They even left some food in the fridge as we were arriving later in the day. The property itself was extremely clean, and the view of the Sunshine Coast was stunning. Such a beautiful way to wake up and end the day. The property is very close to grocery stores for any necessities, and only about 30 minutes from Cameron lake and Macmillan Park. There is just about everything you need, from all kitchen utensils and appliances, to reclining sofas and a big comfy bed. After a roadtrip/camping week, it was the perfect way to end our island adventure. We will definitely be returning if we find ourselves near Nanaimo again!
