• Brian (9/5): - Lovely location, easy walking distance to centre of around 3 mins. Small house with everything you need, very nice greeting package. Like the little posties around the house, very helpful. The blankets on the sofa are also a nice touch especially for the cold mornings and nights.
• Maureen (10/5): Highy recommend lovely clean home - Highly recommend this lovely home, everything was so nice, from the fresh flowers and Prosecco, to the lovely fluffy towels, great stay for the races, and location to town, will definitely return for my birthday next time in July , 🍾 The welcome package, comfy bed, outside area was lovely with the table and chairs , nice big fluffy towels

• Angela (10/5): Wonderful hosts and awesome apartment! - These are hosts that truly get the meaning of hospitality! The nice little touches like fresh flowers, a bottle of prosecco in the fridge, and treats for us and the dogs were all very much appreciated. The flat was spotless and in a great location close to town but quiet neighborhood. The hosts were easy to communicate with. The off street parking spot was also nice. There's plenty of coffee shops and restaurants close by and it's a short walk to the World of James Heriot. One of the best apartments we've stayed at in the 5 1/2 months of traveling we've done! Nothing.

• Mandy (9/5): Lovely I would definitely stay here again. - Lovely and clean with parking outside warm and cozy with everything you need it’s only 5 minutes walk in to Thirsk and all on a flat walk easy for those who can’t walk hills that good. A lovely touch of complimentary tea coffee milk and a gift of jams locally sourced all in all it was ideal for us. The settee was low down to sit on as I struggle with my disabilities but it wasn’t too much of a problem I just sat on a cushion and the heating is wall heaters but still it’s not my home lol .

• Lessels (9/5): Superb - The most comfortable double bed ! Location was perfect, walking distance to everything. Delightful cottage, well kitted out and very private and convenient. Very clean!

• Fiona (9/5): Clean and comfortable stay in Thirsk - The booking and entry processes were straightforward and the house was clean and welcoming with nice touches like milk and some food treats. Quiet at night and a good base in the middle of Thirsk. Very handy for Tesco too. It could have done with a small sharp knife for fruit and vegetables. Also the fridge and freezer doors open in the wrong direction. I didn't have my tool kit or I could have swapped them for them myself. But these were very minor points.

• Helen (9/5): Lavender Cottage, ideal Better than a Hotel - Clean, basic, but well equipped. Comfortable and very considerate lessees. We arrived after midnight, and there was milk, coffee tea, and biscuits. Lights and heating were left on, a welcome treat. Great communication. The shower was a little difficult to gauge the temperature.
