Guest Reviews
- NLe14 (9/5): Cosy yet spacious Tiny Home - Well thought out space. Loved the sliding doors allowing separation from the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living. Plenty of fruit and ingredients provided complimentary to cook breakfast.
- Terese (10/5): - The Cabin was a perfect getaway spot for a mid-week holiday. Rick and Joanne were incredible hosts, the Cabin was beautiful and cosy, with breakfast provisions being an additional bonus. We had a wonderful time and will recommend to others.
- Pooria (9/5): I highly recommend staying at this property, even if just for one night, to get away from the city’s hustle and noise. I - The property was extremely clean, romantic, and almost poetic. The smell of rain and fresh grass, along with the sound of birds, made it perfect for relaxation.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the breakfast provided by the host. Usually, when breakfast is included, it’s just a small selection like jam, honey, peanut butter, tea, and coffee. However, they went above and beyond by providing eggs, mushrooms, and tomatoes for making an omelette, along with butter, jam, and fresh fruit. We truly enjoyed our stay. The only thing I didn’t like, and which was a bit unsettling for me, was the toilet as it didn’t have a flush system.
- April (10/5): - Beautiful cabin, fresh eggs, bread, tomato and Mushrooms for breakfast was amazing.
- Emma (9/5): -
- AJ (9/5): - Lovely cabin, beautiful location. Only one bedside table/shelf was disappointing in an otherwise well-appointed tiny home

- Rosemarie (9/5): Whether a short one night stay, or a few nights, everything is there and and a short drive to places - Sitting on the verandah, overlooking grass and plenty of trees, with birds and wallabies and the cool breeze - we loved this. The supplied breakfast was plenty for us and delicious. The facilities, couch, bed and kitchen seating was comfortable and relaxing. Very clean. Joanne was prompt to reply to questions, supply directions and instructions and make us welcome.

- Margaret (10/5): Peaceful stay amongst nature - We liked the tranquility of the location Nothing
- Ellie (10/5): It was a quiet and a recharging stay. - Breakfast was simple, with Eggs from their own chickens, that roam around the area. The chickens even greeted us on arrival. The Cabin is in the same property as the owner's house, and it's not hide away. We didn't mind that, and we go about our own business. The bed was too soft for me, and the pillow were too flat. that's the only complaint I have.

- Pearson (9/5): Great hostess & cottage. Compact cottage but very comfortable. - Out in the country it was lovely and quiet. Was a little further from town than we thought. No small sharp knife & a bedside light needed.
The sun beating down through the glass into the living area which faces the western sun. It was extremely hot that day.
The breakfast supply was limited with the 3 morning meals the same.

- Josephine (10/5): A lovely, cosy little escape - This cabin is a truly beautiful getaway; cosy, private, and thoughtfully put together. I’ll admit, I’m usually a bit of a skeptic when it comes to glowing reviews, so even with all the positive comments I read beforehand, I arrived a little wary. But I can safely say there’s no need for skepticism here- the cabin was everything we hoped for and more.
It was exactly what we needed to slow down and relax for my partners birthday. The little touches made it feel extra special; from the peaceful setting, aircon, little board games, to the breakfast ingredients provided.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, refreshing break.

- Kiara (10/5): Jo and Rick are such lovely hosts and a joy to chat to we cannot recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back - This tiny house was perfect for our stay. It was so peaceful and private, we really enjoyed relaxing on the deck and watching all the wildlife pass by. There is absolutely nothing to fault, the house came with all the necessities and kitchenware to cook your own meals.
- Jasmine (10/5): Perfect tranquil trip in a quiet and cute cabin. Small wallabies/kangaroos roaming around in the morning and night. - Nice little quiet cabin, perfect for escaping the chaotic city life. It’s located around 10 km from Maleny centre in a quiet area. Wildlife roaming around the property. The gas had an issue but the owners quickly resolved it. We may have preferred having an extra pan or small oven to bake 😄
