• yaziyaev (1/5): - We booked the hotel beforehead, but at the time when we were planning to go to Samarkand marathon the hotel staff asked to cancel the booking. We had no other options and were very close to stay nowhere. Instead of apologies, the hotel staff was trying to victimblame us for not cancelling the booking. I assume that the hotel and room services are good, but its toursit city, I never saw bad service here.

Я зарезервировал с booking.com на всю нашу компанию марафона, но в последний момент персонал настоятельно попоросил отменить резервацию говоря что у них нет места. У них реально не было мест, я не знаю как такое можно допустить. Так как это был день марафона, очень сложно было найти другую гостиницу. В конце концов они начали пассивно агрессивничать мол, вы же узбекистанец, почему не поддержите нас. Можно было бы извиниться, посоветовать другие варианты, но нет.
• Thomas (10/5): Nice place, very centralized and accessible. Good value. - Very clean, service was good. Even though we requested a bathroom, we were not given one right away and instead relocated to another room so we heavily complained and were able to get relocated.

Short distance to major spots, actually all walkable for most people Shared kitchen helps you make your favorite taste. not reception or luggage room, but it doesn't matter as you could settle almost all with their staff, online or on-site.

• Diana (7/5): Try again - I didn't like much. The room was very small and lacked basic furniture such as a table and a hanger, leaving us with nowhere to place our belongings — we ended up using the windowsill. The main problem, however, was the bathroom. It had a persistent unpleasant smell, likely due to plumbing issues. We had to keep both the bathroom door and the room door open at all times just to air it out enough to use it. Additionally, our room had a connecting door to another room, and it was not locked from the other side. When new guests arrived in the middle of the night, they accidentally entered our room. This door must be securely locked from both sides to ensure privacy and safety. Lastly, the host privately asked us to give them the maximum rating, otherwise say nothing. I chose this accommodation based on reviews, but this request made the ratings feel unreliable. This is not how hospitality should be done — great service earns genuine positive reviews. Be humble, provide a good experience, and people will naturally return and recommend you to others.

• Prasanth Kumar (10/5): - One of the wonderful stays in Samarkhand area. The house was amazing built with Uzbek style. Clean staff is very nice. One of the sweetest owner who helps in every possible way when you are in Samarkhand.
• slacklinegirl (8/5): - For this price it is a very good option. It was clean, the staff was helpful and nice, equipped kitchen and rooms with tv. We loved the tapchanes to sit on. There is a laundry service available for a very reasonable price as well. The location is good, about 8 mins walk to Registan. Overall we were super happy with the place The walls are super thin so you can hear every little noise made by your neighbour so bring some earplugs. Also i received many messages from the manager of the hotel i think to leave the 10 out of 10 review which really put me off as i felt intimidated a bit. But still i would recommend this guesthouse.

Мы сделали бронь заранее, за пару недель, но не было ясности в каком именно гостевом доме нас поселят, так как их 3 или 4 у Anora guest house, по приезду персонал был не курсе нашего прибытия и создалось впечатление что они нашли нам места спонтанно, как будто нам просто повезло, что нашлись места. Мы заказывали 4 номера, но именно мне достался номер без душа и туалета, он был на улице, что в принципе не страшно, но было неприятно когда туда начали ходить в туалет все кто живет в этом гестхаусе, мыться там после этого уже не стали. Также наша комната оказалась смежной, разделена с соседней старой дверью, слышно было все, соответственно создавали неудобства друг другу. Администратор заселила нас, потом мы ее больше не видели, вечером выяснилось что в каждой из комнат не хватает по одному одеялу, а ночью было прохладно, найти кого-то уже было поздно и невозможно.

Our bathroom had a horrible sewage smell that would not go away. The location is also misleading because they operate several guesthouses in the area and we got put in one that was ~15 min walk to Registan.

Nel momento in cui chiediamo spiegazioni all'host, ci viene detto che era condiviso ma che da quel giorno sarebbe stato solo nostro perché gli altri guests erano andati via. Il giorno seguente ci accorgiamo che nuovi guests utilizzano il nostro bagno perché non ne hanno uno loro.

• Mustafa (10/5): Wonderful stay with great location - The manager and staff are truly wonderful people, always friendly and helpful. The hotel’s location is perfect, and the rooms are clean. There’s also a lovely courtyard where you can meet and connect with other guests, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.

• Wael (1/5): Not pleasant at all - to be fair, good location, price attractive as everywhere in samarkand, nothing more if I could i would have put 0. never had such experience We landed twice on the same host as he has many guestouses (anora...) you book for a specific adress and you find yourself in other one, far or not, depends on your luck. the location is good true, the price attractive, but better find something else, everything is cheap in samarkand. the toilet smells bad, the room too (most likely because of fresh painting or furniture but smells bad anyway). be careful about the private bathroom, we booked one with private bathroom, he asked us to pay 11$ extra, we had to convince him as it is part of the booking to not pay 11$ more. For this, the bathroom was in courtyard, but they said only for us. the double bed in first anora was horrific. second one was good he was super bad to my friend as she argued with him about the bathroom, until the point to threat her.

We were not registered and because of this we had big problems at the airport

We loved the beautiful kitchen, complete with fridge, hot and cold water dispenser, and washing machine. It was truly beyond our expectation. More importantly, the location is so strategic, close to the most historic destinations of Samarkand. Everything was almost perfect! There was a water shortage one day due to the city provider, but we get a fast responded from the host by providing another source.

The bathroom is outside so it was very cold to access during winter (it was snowing when we arrived). The host kindly showed us to another guesthouse with a private bathroom, however this property did not have a kitchen so we opted for first room with the shared bathroom. Other than that, no issues and would recommend.

Restaurants, parks, etc are very close. Need to thank Muhammad who helped us and he suggested us some good places for Plov. He always responds to our queries. Thankyou and we will definitely stay here if we visit Samarkand next time. Nothing to specify.

The guesthouse is new and it will exceed your expectation for an accommodation for a very affordable price. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff provided exceptional hospitality. The location was perfect for exploring the city's historical sites. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Samarqand. None

• Parsha (9/5): It was a fantastic stay given the tariff. It has a big kitchen and wifi and the location is fantasti - Location is fantastic. 2 mins from the main square if you use the shortcut through the park which the staff did not mention but we figured. The toilet does not have a tap so one has to get water from the adjoining bathroom
• First (5/5): Even there were issues during our stay, we understood that it was a new property and things may not fall into place yet. - - The room looked nice and the location is great. It wasn’t that easy to find on Yandex Go as it was a new property but the staff did their best to assist us with this matter. - Friendly staff as well as the owner even though he managed it remotely. - Upon arrival, there were socks in the bin in our room. The staff probably didn't notice while cleaning up as they got the same color as the bin bag. - The mattresses were hard. There were no curtains in the room, only window blinds. The room was still bright even in the middle of the night as the lights from outside came through the windows. If you’re a deep sleeper, then no biggie. - It wasn’t mentioned that it was a shared bathroom and a shared toilet. We arrived to the guesthouse around 8 pm and there was some water issue in the old city area but Muhammad, the staff told us that it should work soon. He brought us and other guests some big bottles of water to use in the meantime. Anyway there was still no running water even on the next day so we decided to have an early check out that afternoon. - There were no hangers in the room and hooks or a towel rack in the bathroom.

I would love to stay here again. The host was very nice, approachable and the communication was fast. Great rooms, comfortable beds. No complaints at all.
