Appartement ayant besoin de rénovation: tapis taché, barre de serviette arrachée, poignées qui restent dans les mains, internet qui ne fonctionnait pas à notre arrivée, vaisselle sale et insuffisante, pas de savon pour le lave-vaisselle et pas de terrasse malgré ce qui était inscrit dans la description de Booking.

Even more concerning was the dishonest com - Only its location is prime The apartment failed to meet basic standards to include the following: 1) The overall cleanliness and maintenance were well below expectations. 2) Some curtains were broken and didn’t block sunlight, affecting our sleep. 3) There were exposed wires posing safety hazards.

• Sarah (7/5): Great apartment. Better mNagement required. - Great location. 4th floor apartment, no lift, so definitely not for less mobile people. Large space, very comfy bed! I Unfortunately, as the temps in london were high, 26’, the apace was very hot. It was only when I woke sweating in the middle of the night, that i realised the radiators were on!!! So the hot day / night was even hotter. As i’ts May I’m amazed the maintenance / cleaning team didn’t make sure the heating was off!’ I tried to contact the manager, to no avail. A shame, as it made the first night almost unbearable. The radiators
• Danielle (8/5): A cozy hideaway in Belgravia - This is a beautiful, bright apartment in a gorgeous area of London. It was wonderful to be able to walk to so many things, through Hyde Park, the local neighborhoods, Kings Road, and the local markets, restaurants and shops are all lovely. It felt like an extremely safe area, even when I was the only one about. It nice to be away for more than a few days and have a kitchen and a little more space than a hotel room to feel at home. The hosts were quite accommodating for an early check-in. The cleaning team was still on premises when I arrived (which was late morning) but it was nice to be able to leave my bags. The cleaning staff didn't speak very much English, but we could both understand enough - I think. The hosts were mostly easy to communicate with, but we were communicating through a WhatsApp thread and the booking app and some of the communication fell off during my stay. Considering this is on a street with light motor traffic, the apartment is quiet and cozy. The washer and dryer came in handy. I barely saw or heard people in the other apartments. The common areas are clean and neat. I have stayed at the Marriott Knightsbridge Tower nearby. Both the hotel and this apartment are great places to stay for different reasons. While I would call the apartment clean, it was a little more "tired" looking than what the photos suggest. The windows really need to be cleaned from the outside. It's a nice unobstructed view from the apartment if it weren't for the layer of dirt. The door is attached to a bluetooth or wifi enabled key pad lock. If you are someone who likes to turn off the Wi-Fi at night for health reasons (especially when it's just a few feet from the bed!), know that it will disable the lock as well. I am not the most tech savvy person and didn't know this. There are so many little appliances in the kitchen that take up most of the counter space. I could barely boil eggs on the cooktop and am glad I didn't plan on more elaborate cooking. You would want a different kitchen for more elaborate meals. It's fine for fixing your plate and moving to the table, it's adequate for the basics. The lighting in the hallways is motion-activated and several of the lights come on with more of a delay and then flicker when they do come on. This is a little unsettling and could be improved. This not airbnb, so there are no personal touches. Other than some coffee pods and teabags, there was nothing personal to welcome you to the apartment. Not even a bottle of water! There are nice markets within a short walk but when you've traveled nearly 24 hours, it's always nice to have fresh water, if nothing else, waiting for you. It would have been nice to have a little file with the closest train stations, restaurant recommendations, etc. I realize everything is on our phone these days, but it's nice to get a local perspective. Overall it was a nice place to stay - especially for the rate. Even with some minor snafus, I would stay there again.
