• Chloe (8/5): Great stay, quick to respond - Good property, nice and clean and spacious. The property could do with a touch up of paint in some areas including the bathroom ceiling which has mould, also some better protection so the water doesn’t flood.

• MAURA (10/5): Excellent Villa & a great host - We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Rodriguez. The wine & water on arrival were very welcome. The villa was very clean and as advertised. It is located near Faro Park which had a number of nice restaurants within walking distance. This was a new area to us – we landed in Port of Call Restaurant and had a fab meal on our first night – however we made the serious mistake of not booking for another night and they were fully booked for the rest of our stay!. We eventually found the short cut to the bus stop – Turn left - at the end of the road follow the narrow walkway to the open area – turn right to main road and go left towards La Goleta II bus stop – bus leaves for Town/Marina 15m & 45m past the hour – easy trip for €1.40 – Alight at Avda Papagoya1 ( next stop after Bus Station) for main area or Marina Rubicón for Marina Area. We tended to get a taxi back from the Marina - €10 including tip but used bus for return trips most nights. We did walk in to the main area on the sea front in the mornings – Turn right and take narrow walkway towards Hotel Royal Monica – pathway to sea front through hotel grounds past entrance. A good 45 minute walk but very pleasant in the lovely weather !. We did reward ourselves with a café con leche and a fab croissant at Secretos Del Mar – walked back or took the bus from Avda Papagoya 1. Vianney was very helpful during our stay but was unable to extend check out time due to another booking - which is totally understandable - we had a late flight and booked a day pass to Labranda Alyssa Suites which was a short taxi ride and was totally worth the €35 each for the facilities available. As already commented by previous visitors the shower enclosure in the bathroom was not the best ! We actually all used the shower in the en suite room and there were no issues with the supply of hot water and no water escaping.

La ubicación, la casa, el entorno tan tranquilo… Se ha de mejorar el menaje de cocina, como sartenes y ollas y dejar algún paño más de cocina. Nosotros tuvimos que comprar. El baño de la habitación se sale el alguna de la ducha, habría que repasar la junta de silicona de la mampara.
• Nicola (7/5): Lovely stay in a lovely villa would definitely recommend even with my few issues - Villa was lovely, clean, well laid out with great facilities. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, some toiletries, and the welcome gift a nice touch. Best bit was the pool, very good size, well maintained and nice temperature. Great outdoor area with sunbeds and plenty of room to move around the sun. Kitchen facilities were good with great added washing machine. There were a few things that needed sorting. One was there was a horrible smell in the villa for the first 3 days. Although we did report and an offer of sending someone around was offered we got to the bottom of the smell coming from under the fridge. The drip tray was rancid. Once removed and cleaned by ourselves the smell disappeared. As stated an offer was made but I wasn’t happy to be told that this is not something that had happened before! This doesn’t help me and my problem. Also as mentioned in many reviews the showers are a continuous problem, flooding the bathroom and bedroom floor. This is simply an issue with drainage speed. Nothing that can’t be resolved with a mop. Also in the description it is not clear that the villa is a way away from anything. Not in anyway seafront, beach view. This wasn’t an issue as we had a car, but you need one.

• Miriam (9/5): A lovely home from home! - The pool was a brilliant size for a villa. It was well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable and the living area had comfortable couches. The kitchen was well equipped and the utility area was very useful. The owner Vianney was very helpful and always responded promptly. The villa is in a quieter location which was fine but we noticed it could be slightly cooler in the evenings here, compared to the main parts of Playa Blanca. While the sun beds were great, the outside chairs were not very comfortable.

This is definitely one of the best Villas I have stayed in on the island and will be coming back again soon. There truly wasn't anything not to like.
• Mintyhighway (8/5): Weather was great and Playa Blan great base to explore - Very clean apartment, well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, shower was good as was the clean heated pool. UK channels on the TV was a nice unexpected bonus. The villa is actually semi-detached which is not detailed in the description. There was some noise from guests using the other connect villa. Care needs to be taken when using the en-suite shower as its easy to flood the floor! To describe the villa as beachfront with a sea-view is pushing it slightly. Its definitely not beachfront but you can just glimpse the sea if you stand on tip toes!
• Daniel (9/5): Relaxing break in a comfortable private villa. - Outdoor area and heated pool are fabulous especially when the weather is great. Sun from mid morning to end of day. We used the bbq area twice which was a nice option. Comfortable beds and excellent t.v. package especially for sports fans. Very quiet and peaceful area. Only about 300 metres from promenade. As others have said previously, shower area can overflow but this is only minor. Little awkward getting hire car in and out due to tight driveway entrance and parking opposite. Very minor issues.
• Jan (9/5): Exactly what we needed at this time of year! - The highlight was definitely the pool but the villa was also comfortable , light and airy and a pleasant place to be. We were in easy walking distance of the coast path, a reasonable supermarket and a couple of good restaurants. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get a booking in Kamezi- we’ll book early next time! While the villa is private, it is attached to a similar one and we were unlucky with our neighbours who entertained friends a lot and were very noisy. However, the area itself is extremely quiet and I’m sure this is not always the case!

We had an incredible holiday, the weather was amazing and the private and quie - The location was very quiet which was perfect for a relaxing getaway after the busy Christmas season. The bus stop is less than 5 minutes walk from the villa and the supermarket less than 10 minutes. The villa was decorated beautifully, very clean. The host was amazing, got back to us very promptly and wanted to make sure we have a pleasant enjoyable stay. The facilities were great the washing machine and dishwasher were very handy, and the pool is heated which is ideal in the winter! I would definitely recommend this property, we couldn’t stop talking about how nice it was. The only issue we had were the showers - when anyone took a shower in either bathroom the water spilled out onto the bathroom floor, so there was quite a puddle when getting out of the shower. We needed to use a few towels to soak it up. I think the bathrooms in Spain are usually designed as more of a wet room, it wasn’t too much of a hassle just something we noticed.
• Steven (9/5): Excellent Villa, we maintained and clean. - Lovely, well maintained Villa with private pool. Excellent overall. Owner was very flexible to accommodate a requested late check out. Quiet and peaceful location, a short walk from the seafront and some shops / bars. A little too far to walk over to Playa Blanca, but I believe buses run from near the shops. I would not use the words "Beachfront" and "seaview" for this property, as it's not on the seafront and I couldn't see the sea from the property although they were less than 1000m walk.

• Lea (10/5): Exceptional - The pool amazing! Outdoor space great. We used the grill a lot. Great fresh fish shop in the port and good place that sells amazing meat called Dak, next to Eurospar. Definitely would recommend the place and loved to stay again!

The villa was impeccably clean, and the modern design made it feel like a true escape. We loved the private pool, which was a highlight of our trip and was cleaned twice during our 7-day stay. Both rooms were spacious, with efficient air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The two shower rooms were spotless and well-equipped. The location was also ideal—just a 5-minute walk to the beachfront and bus stop, 10 minutes to the local shop and a few great cafes/restaurants, and only a 5-minute drive to the center of Playa Blanca, which worked perfectly with our hire car. The host was also fantastic, always prompt with messages and information. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend! 10/10.
• Ellis (10/5): Fabulous Villa - The villa exceeded our expectations. The cleanliness was 5 star, which is refreshing. We arrived very late as our flight was so delayed. We were very grateful for the complimentary bottle of water, coffee pods and wine as the shops were all closed by the time we landed. It is a short walk to the local shops and restaurants, so we had no need to travel further into Playa Blanca for food. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows and blankets if needed. Air conditioning in both bedrooms was perfect. Both bedrooms had blackout blinds, the one in the boys room was a little temperamental but we managed to get it to work. There is a plentiful supply of towels for the bathroom and pool. We were pleasantly surprised the villa had 2 bathrooms. Both with showers. The En Suite bathroom was lovely with a spacious rain shower as well as a regular shower attachment. Just be aware that the rain shower has a tendency to flood bathroom but, there's a mop in utility room so not a huge issue. Again, very clean with a supply of soap, shampoo and shower gel. Appliances are all in good order and look fairly new, with manuals in multiple languages. There are most things you may need in the kitchen to prepare food. There is a massive utility area behind the kitchen with the washing machine and dishwasher, where you can hang your washing, store cases etc. Owners responded to any enquiries quickly and messaged to see how our stay was going. The pool was great and provided endless fun for our boys. The pool guy also checked it during our stay. There is a little beach 5 mins walk away and a bus service close by if you want to venture further. It's a very quiet area which was a bonus. Check-in and check-out were easy with the use of a secure key safe (that the owner texts a code for) to be able to gain access to the villa. Nothing

About 40mis drive from airport, 15min walk to nearest shops/restaurants, 10 mins from sea. Easy to find with own driveway to park your car close to front door for easy loading/unloading. Beds are comfortable & air conditioning in bedrooms is free. Washing machine includes tablets for two washes. Outdoor area by pool is private with no one overlooking you. Owner easy to contact and answered questions promptly.
