• Christine (10/5): Erholsame Ferien auf El Hierro - Die Finca hatte eine sehr schöne Lage. Es war ruhig, nur Vogelgezwitscher zu hören. Als Ausgangspunkt, um auf der Insel zu wandern, war es ideal. Die Ausstattung bot alles, was man brauchte und es war sehr sauber. Besonders hervorzuheben war die aufgeschlossene und freundliche Art von Kathleen. -

• chefpaulwaller (10/5): A fabulous place in Paradise - The little details in the accommodation. The pictures on the walls to the different types of lights. The towels and bedding was perfect and good quality. The decor, the facilities and everything you would possibly need for you stay. The kitchen was so well stocked up with all the equipment you would ever need! So well thought about. The owner had thought of everything. The area the villa was in, was so peaceful. So close to the coastal walk and a few bars and restaurants but not close enough to spoil the setting. The pool was lovely and was loving being able to BBQ by the pool. Kathleen was so friendly and helpful and a true professional. Will I go back again??? Oh yes and our friends have already booked on our recommendation. Nothing

• Sascha (10/5): - Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Super Lage, sehr sauber und Kathleen ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort. Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön. Die Betten waren gut. Für uns hat alles gepasst und wir würden gerne wiederkommen. Alles gut!
• Amanda (10/5): Lovely place to stay on an interesting island - Apartment A was spacious, well equipped, private and had great views in all directions, from the sea to the mountains to the pool and terraces. Quiet, but well located for exploring the island. We liked being welcomed personally by Kathleen despite our evening arrival, and she was on site in her office parts of most days for any queries about the house and the island. If El Hierro was easier to get to we would certainly stay again.

• Glenn Andre Maldal (10/5): A real slice of paradise - Do not hesitate if you are considering a visit to El Hierro, it is such a unique experience, with wonderful landscape, delightful ocean swimming, very friendly people and high quality cuisine. It feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. And if you choose to go there, I could hardly think of a better place to stay than the Finca Afortunada. It looks nice in pictures, but still far exceeds expectations. An amazing property in a very special place. Our apartment was well-equipped and very well-maintained, with a nice terrace where we could watch the stars at night while listening to the waves crashing ashore just a few meters away. The garden was full of weird and beautiful flowers, and the pool area was peaceful and dreamy. The La Maceta natural pools was just a short drive away and so was an array of good restaurants. I wish we could have stayed here a lot longer, as this was a little slice of paradise. Absolutely nothing.

• Dominik (9/5): Super und sehr erholsam! - Eine wunderschöne, abgelegene, ruhige Unterkunft, mit sehr gepflegtem Grundstück, schönen Palmen und blühenden Pflanzen, herausragender Ausblick vom gepflegten Pool. Auf der gemütlichen Terrasse hatten wir Privatsphäre und konnten dort die Sonne genießen. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto sehr gut zu erreichen. Wir würden immer wieder kommen! Die Anreise im Dunkeln war leider etwas kompliziert, da die Adresse auf Booking nicht der Adresse der Unterkunft entspricht. Die Gastgeberin hatte uns zwar rechtzeitig davor einen Standort zugeschickt, ohne jedoch zu erwähnen, dass dieser von der Adresse bei Booking abweicht und ohne zu erwähnen, dass der Standort bei Booking fehlerhaft sein kann. Weil wir den Standort verwendet haben, der auf Booking hinterlegt war, standen wir zuerst vor der falschen Adresse, was unsere Ankunft etwas verzögert, aber letztlich kein Problem war. Wenn man den Standort verwendet, den man von der Gastgeberin zugesendet bekommt, findet man die Unterkunft problemlos, gerade im Hellen. Das ist also nur ein minimaler Minuspunkt, den man leicht vermeiden kann und unserer Freude an der Unterkunft nicht geschadet hat.
• Brunhilde (10/5): Erster El Hierro Urlaub mit Hund - Das Apartment war super, sehr sauber und geräumig. Für uns sehr wichtig, Haustierfreundlich. Eine nette Begrüßung von Kathleen mit den ersten Tipps für die Umgebung. Tolle Lage und die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Für mich noch ein Highlight, an meinem Geburtstag, habe ich tolle Blumen/El Hierro Ananas und heimische Süßigkeit bekommen. Super aufmerksam die Unterkunft. Rundum ein toller Urlaub Die Matratze waren sehr hart obwohl wir harte Matratze sehr mögen. Ansonsten gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.

• J_o_s_e_m_i (9/5): Buen alojamiento, tranquilo, amplio y bien ubicado para recorrer la isla - La ubicación era muy buena aunque como llegamos de noche, nos costó un poco encontrar el alojamiento ya que el último tramo es un camino de tierra sin iluminación. No obstante, la anfitriona enseguida nos ayudó. El alojamiento era grande y tenía de todo, no echamos nada en falta. La piscina estaba muy bien, grande y con buena temperatura. Era muy tranquilo, no había ruidos. No me gustó que la piscina no pudiese usarse después del atardecer, a partir de que se iba el sol sólo podía ser utilizada por los huéspedes del apartamento A.

• Sergio (10/5): Por algo se llama Finca Afortunada.. y bien Afortunada con esa ubicación, anfitriona y limpieza! - El alojamiento es maravilloso por todo… amplitud, ubicación, jardines, terraza, barbacoa, piscina, vistas al mar (con orientación al atardecer para las puestas de sol). La coordinadora Kathleen se encarga de recibirte y solucionarte cualquier duda o problema que puedas tener, pues además está todos los días en la finca. Nosotros estuvimos en el apartamento B que tiene un dormitorio, y estaba muy bien equipado con todo lo necesario para pasar 5 maravillosos días descubriendo la isla de El Hierro con una niña pequeña, incluyendo todo tipo de utensilios de cocina y hasta pastillas de jabón para el lavavajillas. Todo muy cuidado, nuevo e impoluto. Hay varios supermecados y una gasolinera a menos de 5min en coche. Además, como parte de las zonas comunes de los apartamentos hay una zona de lavandería con lavadora, secadora y zona de tendedero, incluyendo jabón, está fenomenal para el último día. El alojamiento está perfectamente situado para recorrer la isla, y a 5min en coche de Las Puntas y La Frontera, con multitud de sitios para comer y cenar, tanto en ambos lugares como en los alrededores. Y pegado al mar, de hecho por delante de la finca pasa el sendero que va desde Las Puntas (concretamente desde el hotel Puntagrande, el más pequeño del mundo) hasta la charca de La Maceta, paseo altamente recomendable y con unas vistas espectaculares. Sin duda volveremos a alojarnos aquí en nuestra próxima visita a la isla de El Hierro (que muy probablemente la habrá). No hay absolutamente nada que no nos gustase. Por comentar algo, hay wifi que a veces va mejor y a veces peor, pero si vienes a esta isla no es para tener wifi, de hecho la Smart TV (con Netflix) ni la en encendimos en 5 noches. La piscina solo puede usarse hasta la puesta de sol por parte de los apartamentos B, C y D, para no molestar a los inquilinos del apartamento A (cuyos dormitorios dan a la piscina), pero esto tampoco es ningún problema, pues el sol se pone bastante tarde en verano y rara era la vez que quedaba alguien balándose hasta esas horas.

Sostenible, 4 papeleras de reciclaje. Tienes productos para la lavadora, el lavavajillas, la barbacoa... Mi familia estuvo cómoda y contenta. Una terraza para ver puesta de sol y otra para comer viniendo la luna. Es una finca y hay algunas hormigas... pero hay productos en la casa para combatirlas. Preguntar por las almohadas porque hay de varios tipos... yo me enteré tarde😅.

Solo hubo un problema que hay varias viviendas y todas no tienen el mismo uso horario para la piscina cosa que no es lógica se supone que todos pagamos lo mismo y debería tener los mismos derechos. De echo una tarde salió una clienta para de buenas maneras echar a mi hijo de la piscina que solo estaba el, porque a esa hora según las normas solo podía usarla ellos.Personalmente no veo la lógica de esa norma.

• Tom (10/5): Excellent place - quiet and a lovely pool with a view. - Wonderful welcome and lovely pool. Giant super king size bed. Well stocked and nice artwork. Very kind and thoughtful hosts. A little far to walk round the lanes to the coast path (as the property is so close to the path but you need to walk 1km around the back roads to get to the path due to no permissive access directly.) but this is a very minor issue! The host went out of their way to make us very welcome even bringing a lovely birthday gift for my wife. We enjoyed our stay very much indeed.

• Angelgs (9/5): Excellent place to a peaceful stay - The location is perfect for a relaxing stay. You can enjoy the silence and the amazing views from the pool. The apartment has everything you need, dishwasher and washing machine included. The air conditioning in the main bedroom is great in some unusual but hot evenings. I understand the need to have rules and do not allow to make parties, but it's a pity to not be able to receive a visitor in the house or let them to use the big pool, of course always maintaining good behavior.
