Ak (2/5): Clean and good value, but the noise ruined the stay. - I was specifically looking for a room with a bathtub and parking (and it being free was a huge bonus), so I didn’t mind that the hotel was a bit away from the city. Within my budget, I felt I found a really good room. The reception staff were very polite, which made for a pleasant check-in, and the room itself was very clean. Even though I was only staying for one night, I initially thought I had found a great hotel. However, everything changed at night. The constant traffic noise from Parramatta Road was so loud that I couldn’t sleep at all. Although the hotel claims to be soundproof, the windows were not double-glazed and let in a significant amount of noise. Even with noise-cancelling earphones, I couldn’t fall asleep. I also don’t understand why a window that doesn’t offer any view is designed in a way that allows so much external noise in. From other reviews, it seems that only certain rooms are affected, but if you are assigned a room numbered “1–5” (mine was 005), it can be unbearable.

The room was spacious, beds were super comfy and the breakfast was just what we needed. The hotel was convenient to get to where we had to go. Gao (9/5): - The motel offers free underground parking with a lift to your floor which is hard to find in Sydney. The bathroom is modern and clean with plenty of bench space. It is very quiet inside although it's next to a main road.

Michael (10/5): Gut für einen City-Trip - Tolles Hotel für einen City-Trip,nach Sydney. Das Hotel liegt zwar außerhalb der Innenstadt. Die Anbindung an die City mittels Bus ist aber klasse (Bushaltestelle vor der Tür) man ist in ca.30-40 min. am Hyde-Park. Toll ist auch das hoteleigene kostenfreie Parkhaus. Das Hotel ist modern und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. —-

Our room was pretty quiet considering the proximity to a major road. It is an easy 10 min walk to Haberfield for lunch or dinner. An onsite laundry would have been helpful.

I didn't eat the breakfast, not my style, pre packaged cereals & cheap bread. There was Nothing fresh like whole fresh fruit (bananas) greek yoghurt or granola. Lack of freshness with the breakfast.

Lovely café's 15 min walk from hotel mainly italian restaurants in the area. We had breakfast at est.1901, which was delicious and had the best chocolate gelato at San Valentino. I could hear the hooning cars and sirens from the main road at night when i was trying to sleep. closest station would be like 1.5km (23 min walk) although there is a bus stop next to the hotel. We used an Uber or Didi while we stayed there as it was the most convenient mode of transport.
