• Olga (5/5): The location and facilities were amazing, but the bed sheets and towels were worn out and felt unwashed, which was disap - the location and facilities were fantastic, and the house is beautifully newly renovated. However, I was really disappointed by the bed sheets—they felt like they hadn’t been washed—and the towels were worn out. If you’re going to renovate a house to such a high standard, the linens need to be on the same level. It was a letdown in an otherwise lovely stay.

• Michele (8/5): Loved the house, balcony, facilities,. View exceptional. Very relaxing. - The view was amazing. A wide view of the bay and properties built around the hills. Location was in a picturesque, pretty and well to do area and natural bush area. Modern facilities and suited our wants and needs. Driveway and off street parking. Easy access. Relaxed and very happy. Lacking minor maintenance and upkeep of property and garden. A good tidy up externally (cobwebs and sweep up of paths) and a little attention for a handyman (sticking sliding doors, window frame architraves loose), but no real complaints.

Also, it was very hot and the house had only one air conditioner in the lounge room. The host had provided fans in the bedrooms, but they were inadequate.

Just the host forgot to send me the code to the key box on time, so I got into late. But in return, I received a discount and also an extended stay for a few hours. Good customer service afterwards.

Relax near the sea with family. - The view of the ocean from verandah was amazing, especially good for those who don't live near an ocean and want to be able to soak it in. Have breakfast or a cuppa out there. The house was beautiful. Few books for kids, plus a foose ball game in the loungeroom. Lovely quiet garden. Soap and shampoo, conditioner, suncream provided. Ducted Heating worked great. Big fridge. Comfortable warm beds. X2 toilets. X2 showers. The bunk bed was a double bunk, so good for a couple or if your kids like sleeping with you or each other. It was quite expensive ( we were there for Christmas time). For the amount paid it would have been appropriate to have milk in the fridge for tea/coffee, and possibly a small box of chocolates which would be minimal price comparison to the fee. The hot water seemed to only last a very short time which was unfortunate because the shower bathroom facilities were amazing but went cold after our shower so kids didn't get to use it. Not sure if it reheats quickly for a later use as we were only there one night.

• David (10/5): Fabulous location - great house layout - Comfy beds and Hot Showers. - We were on the peninsula for a family wedding. There were 6 of us and we wanted to stay together and not in a motel. The house was great. Beds were comfy, shower was hot and strong. Loved the automatic toilet!

• Jacinta (8/5): Nice but overpriced and bedding not particularly comfortable. - Lovely and big. Bottom bunk not designed for an adult to sleep on - thin foam mattress. Also - the only place I have ever rented that didn’t provide basic tea and coffee facilities- there was a tin with a mix of random leftovers but no black tea bags and milk. Key only opened two doors, not the main sliding doors onto the deck which would be beautiful in Summer. Overpriced particularly considering there are instructions to be quiet from 8.30pm due to elderly neighbours. It didn’t impact this stay but something others may need to be aware of if they wanted to sit on the gorgeous deck and have a drink and laugh in the evening.

No dinner knives ?Very odd Wouldn’t say it’s upto standards for this kind of Booking.com/airbnb type rental Had to contact owner on arrival for access directions rather than being given them prior It’s as if we were staying at a friends private holiday home that hadn’t been back for sometime & left the place as it was
