Guest Reviews
- Peter (10/5): -
- cripps (7/5): Overall we enjoyed our stay if some of the issues could be rectified as would return. - Breakfast NA. Loction was excellent with lovely sea view and right on a wonderful cycle/walking path which Sent to a lovely country park pembrey.and through to Swansea in the opposite direction. It was difficult to open the key box.Furniture was not very comfortable.Although most of the apartment was lovely and clean the oven was very greasy and a frying pan on the cupboard had grease on it also 2 glasses were chipped. There was only 2 tea plates and no cooking tongs. The beds were very comfortable.
- james (10/5): J locks - Ground floor great views and generally a really nice place Black out blinds in bedrooms would be a good idea
- Althea (10/5): A wonderful week away - Everything Nothing
- Elliott (9/5): Great stay location was perfect lovely visit to Llanelli to see the family - Location and parking modern and accessible ground floor for easy access with kids Bath mat and tea towel smelt of smoke or musty but didn’t effect the stay at all just something that can be improved
- Zanna (10/5): Everything was perfect - The apartment was clean, comfortable, everything what is necessary for staying was there. Great location and great seaside view from the windows.
- Stephen (6/5): - Clean and comfortable flat Cheap roller blinds in the bedroom did a poor job of keeping the light out. Windows blocked with newspaper aren't impressive. Whilst I didn't experience noise from the builders, the scaffolding and resulting loss of access to the balcony was an unpleasant surprise
- LISA (10/5): - Spacious, comfortable and plenty of facilities within the apartment, sea views and close to amenities
- Dwight (8/5): - Clean property The water heater- Boiler is difficult to operate and ended up having cold shower on the 2nd day of stay
- Andy (9/5): -
- Claire (1/5): Scammer, fully aware property unsuitable for rental while construction is ongoing! - Access to coastal foot path. When we arrived at the property there was scaffolding around the building and on the patio area, a skip and the view was obstructed by security fencing. The windows were so covered in dust and grime you could barely see out of them. There was no mention anywhere about this propert being a building site. When the owner was contacted they apologised saying they thought these works had been made clear, hence a 20% discount, the discount I got on booking.com was 16% with no mention of ongoing construction.
I asked whether there would be works going on while there and the reply was no and also the scaffolding was coming down soon. I said I was angry and felt duped. The owner pretty much said if you dont like it find somewhere else, which is hard at short notice. My mom and I made the most of it trying to see the humour, especially while opening the curtains for your sea view but instead finding a ladder on the patio right against the sliding door with legs half way up them. The builders were polite but we spent the day with the curtains closed. I wondered about general Health and Safety regulations?
On a side note, the shower was not draining so water was splashing out of the base, I made the mistake of lifting the drain cover, black grime and hair, which was disgusting and smelt rank.
Every item used in kitchen had to be washed due to being sticky to the touch. Freezer had left overs in it, the list can go on and on.
- Daphne (9/5): Had a lovely three days here and would definitely come back again. - Lovely location with breathtaking views. Great communication from very helpful host. No usb plug for charging . Shower spreads water beyond tray.
- clive (8/5): Nice - Location is good Scaffolding all around but, we were informed of that beforehand, so not a complaint.
- Paweł (10/5): -
- Penny (3/5): Not as expected, let down!! - Location was good, you could walk into the town via the costal path The view we had was scaffolding!
Noise from the building work going on
Late to check in, excuse made.
Bedding stained.
Only 2 lots of towels for 4 guests, also stained and poor quality
Newspaper in the window.
The owner offered 20/, discount due to building work but didn’t not pay us.
- Gillian (3/5): Absent uncaring owner should pay for local manager - self catering; kitchen well equipped, but not enough crockery if using dishwasher for family.
Views of Gower and sea beautiful.
liked seeing all cyclists ,joggers and walkers using Millennium cycle path and park. Horrible that outer key would NOT turn to get in the building; had to hope another resident would let you in.
Absent Owner not concerned.Key lock box old and not working properly; took 15 minutes to open, had to use knife.
Also no instruction manual for apartment. Heater left on in June, could not get switch to turn off.
TV remotes would not work, so no TV for me. No Radio
No Name on building or apartment.
Seaside serenity a myth?
- Harris (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely location right on the coast. Nearby St Eli’s Bay restaurant lovely.
Apartment was clean and modern. A perfect place to relax for a weekend away.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - The points we liked about the holiday destination have brought us back time and again to the same complex. This particular apartment gives good value for an excellent holiday destination. Another important consideration is the ability to cancel if everything goes wrong, planning a holiday so far from where we live is expensive enough without being locked in if one or other disaster prevents us from travelling. Our only complaint would be that in both bedrooms there were no curtains, the roller blinds did nothing to reduce the sunlight shining through. This made sleeping impossible once the sun up.
- Muhammad (9/5): nice stay - no siiue
- Azzopardi (8/5): . - Bed very comfortable. Shower room excellent shower Settee and chair not that comfortable.
Bedroom window was stuffed with paper to stop draft
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcnaughton (10/5): very clean, comfortable and the views across the bay were excellent. - location was excellent Having to leave
- Deborah (10/5): The perfect getaway. - Beautiful location, apartment was clean, well equipped and nicely furnished. Onside parking, 5 minute drive to the town centre. Lovely walk literally outside the door. There's nothing to dislike, owners have everything covered.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - The flat was lovely and clean and beautiful location There was nothing not to like
- Tia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (9/5): Lovely property right on the beach - Fantastic location with easy access to the beach and great sea views. Parking right outside. 'Balcony' was a bit small.
- Siannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucy (7/5): Good - Location was fantastic, right next to the beach, the view was stunning. The apartment had everything you could wish for, the kitchen was REALLY well equipped. Dish washer and washing machine was a bonus! It was within walking distance of the town and a lovely bistro with the best cakes and ice cream is a stones throw from the apartment. We didn't find the apartment very "comfortable", the double bed was rock solid and my children said their beds weren't comfy either. The sofa and chair in the living room look lovely but weren't comfortable either, I didn't feel comfy all weekend. It could feel a lot more homely with more comfortable furniture 😊
- Sheila (9/5): Excellent and we were blessed with fabulous weather - The location was fabulous, right on sea with great views Everything was good
- Emma (9/5): Everything we needed, great location! - Absolutely fantastic little apartment! Naomi called the day of the arrival to ensure we had all the information we needed. Also got back to me instantly when I messaged her a question.
Location is fantastic and we spent two early mornings on the beach.
Everything we needed (and more) was available in the apartment.
