- Emma (3/5): Not staying there again - Location for our event No one on site to check in, had to ring a number and everything was coded on the handles
We requested a second water , two extra pillows as we had to ask last time was not in room - there was no one in the building to ask
Shower drain very slow , so ur standing in your dirty water
- JULIAN (6/5): Great potential, spoilt by issues above. Dining room excellent. - Breakfast was good. Location good. Slamming door at night. Reception not staffed--just a note saying call Savan. Hard to get into the place. Door keys not working well. Had to keep jiggling key in lock to get it to work.

- Sandra (9/5): We were comfortable for our short stay, room would need to bigger for a longer stay - Excellent staff, restaurant and food. Rear area of units could do with an upgrade, road maintenance and general maintenance/tidy.
- Mark (7/5): Whyalla was a great place. The waters stunning. - The showers were nice and hot. Meals were good. The beds were hard. The locks were very hard to use the key in. It needs a good clean up outside. It was hard to find as it is not on Essington Lewis. The car parks were very tight.

- Lucy (5/5): Fine if you’re staying for work but wouldn’t come again for a getaway - Large place with lots of facilities, has its own bar and restaurant. Would be good if you were coming to stay just for work purposes. Huge vent in the door to the rooms which made you feel exposed. Bathroom was a bit grotty.
- Clarke (4/5): - Gave us a room that was even clean bed wasn't made rang them & changed to a different room
- jonathon (8/5): Pleasurable, quite comfortable if you don’t mind being a distance from centre of town. - Good price for an overnight stay. Clean and quiet. Well equipped. A bit out of the way. Restaurant not open Monday/Tuesday evenings.

- Sue (7/5): It was a nice stay with nice food and friendly staff - The food we had was good. Staff were friendly and it was quiet. Was pleasantly surprised with the room as first impression of the property wasn’t the best. We came in from the back of the property and first impression was a bit of oh this doesn’t look real good.
- Emma (6/5): Pleasant - The good and location was good
Food great There was only one of everything in the room except the towels - and we had to ask staff for more stuff . We felt rude asking but otherwise the stay was good
- Sonja (8/5): POOR PLANTS - The swimming pool and its lovely surroundings .The bed was nice and firm and very comfortable. It was supposed to have a kettle in the room and a bottle of water but it did not. Also said there was a bath but i could not find it .And no toiletries eg shampoo ,conditioner and soap. Also maybe someome could water the plants out by the pool they are nearly dead. Also no fish for my fishermans basket and as i didnt want octopus that just prawns and squid that was to thick and big but the prawns were very nice amd tje chips belissimo
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julie (5/5): Passable -
- Richard (5/5): Poor organisation leads to dangerous situations - Need to repair locks on doors. Keys on first 2 rooms that were tried did not work and lock doors. Then for another room allocated and had a guest attempt to get in later, thankfully I stopped them.
- Trevor (9/5): All good - All ok Staff
- Vivien (9/5): Very happy with choice to stay here. Good value and great convenience by way of eating and drinking. - Breakfast was more than adequate but could have been even better with healthier wholemeal or rye bread options. The pool had a closed sign - would have loved it to be open for use.
- William (2/5): Very poor - not much shared bathroom facilities
- Reath (8/5): Very good -
- Donald (8/5): All good - All good
- Lisa (7/5): Good -
- Carl (1/5): Scary for a singe female. - Very noisy at night with people running up and down the hallway + no female toilet/shower so was with a lot of strangers (men).
- Head (10/5): Great last minute - Friendly staff, great location and good quiet tranquility. Can't say that there was anything I didn't like
- Les (3/5): Never again - The view from bar The room had no kettle asked manager to supply was told no go to the kitchen if you want coffee. Asked manager to upgrade was told no rooms available when there clearly was. Pillows were hard and lumpy and clearly old.
- Monty (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marcus (10/5): BIGFISH - Pool and the facilities are awesome. Shared bathroom

- Kevin (8/5): Very good - Tidy
- Scott (10/5): I was a great place for a short stay. - The Location is great and the views are wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a great couple of nights and even though the hotel is a FIFO hub we didn't even hear the workers leaving in the mornings. Not a lot could be improved at the motel.
- Jennifer (5/5): Passable -

- John (8/5): For a one night stay it was fine. - The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. The room was roomy. It was VERY difficult to open the windows. They need to be repaired. No fresh air in the room as a result. The fridge was noisy.
- Elaine (1/5): Bad - Shared bathroom. Elderly (70 year old woman) told room came with Shared bathroom but not told bathroom Shared with men. I Walked through door with Bathroom sign on door only to be confronted with male urinal in full view from doorway. Male person at desk informed me this type of Shared bathroom is normal, same as caravan parks which IT IS NOT. Caravan parks and other locations with Shared bathrooms are gender specific.not Shared by men and women. I spent $160 for 2 nights accommodation which was not used because I was required to use a bathroom used predominantly by men who judging by the numbers of laundry baskets containing clean Hi Viz clothing were for workers in local industries associated with mining or steel making. At no time was?I informed I had to share a bathroom with men. When I paid for my accommodation and picked up my key, the man who took my payment only mentioned a Shared bathroom AND failed to inform me, a 70 year old woman that I would have to Shared the bathroom with make guests. I did not stay at the Mirabeena Motel and consequently spent/wasted my money. I felt I had been misled about bathroom facilities as a women having to share the bathroom with men because at no time was I informed of this. If I had been I would not have paid 2 nights for accommodation I did not use. I could not bring myself to share a bathroom with men. This information was never provided to me either at the time I booked nor when I checked in to the facility and paid for the accomodation.
