- Aristide (8/5): Excellente étape pour passer une nuit au calme. - Excellent hôtel avec un bon rapport qualité prix, des chambres spacieuses et propres, un personnel attentionné et un restaurant ouvert servant une cuisine correcte. Rien
- Kumar (10/5): it is very nice and peace full - restarent and the room nothing
- Dan (9/5): Superb - The staff were fantastic. Friendly, courteous and extremely prompt to handle requests and queries.
Decent restaurant and lounge bar with great view of Munnar . Highly recommend.
- Siddhartha (8/5): Good property but service could really be enhanced to make it value for money - Location and some of the staff was good. Overall room was also clean and maintained well.
The restaurant staff the head waiter was very good and helpful and courteous . Managed food for ya and for our kid really well . Made good suggestions too.
We liked the ambience of the room though suite room was barely done. Room service was unsatisfactory. It used to take several times to just get a cup of coffee because they will bring coffee without cups and this happened several times . We asked for hot Chocolate with lukewarm warm milk and they brought two items one hot chocolate and one like warm milk and again no cup along with it .
Our kid was not well so we called reception early morning to check if they have thermometer or if they can arrange it to which they said no and asked us to tell our cab driver to find it.
These small issues on a trip leave very unpleasant taste.
We had booked suite and the attached a suite room didn’t even have a proper sofa.set. The room interiors of suite room was not done well.
- Suparna (8/5): Very good - food, staff behavior. Room could have been more better.
- Deepak (5/5): great staff was the highlight of the stay - The staff was really good and very attentive to all our needs The property is dated and require some updation to bring it up to the standards to make the moneys worth
- Ganesan (1/5): Bad - Title: A Nightmare Stay at the Unaccommodating Hotel
My family and I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the PEPPERVINE, during the holiday season, and it was nothing short of a disaster. We booked three suite rooms from December 23rd to 25th, expecting a pleasant and enjoyable stay. However, the hotel's staff and management left us thoroughly disgusted with their lack of hospitality and consideration for their guests.
The first red flag was raised when we attempted to order a simple evening tea and coffee for our family. Shockingly, the staff outright refused, citing an ongoing event that apparently rendered them incapable of preparing such basic amenities. Despite pleading with them to arrange some milk for our children, they callously denied our request. It took an agonizingly long struggle, but they finally served a measly cup of milk after an entire hour.
Adding insult to injury, the hotel management had the audacity to force all guests into participating in a Gala Dinner on the night of December 24th, costing a hefty Rs. 1300 per head. Many guests, including ourselves, refused to comply with this mandatory event and opted to dine outside the hotel. This unreasonable demand reflects a complete lack of understanding of customer preferences and a disregard for our freedom of choice.
The pinnacle of our dissatisfaction was reached during the night event, which featured a deafening DJ and other disruptive activities. We had elderly family members who were unwell and had taken medication to rest peacefully. Despite our pleas to lower the volume, the hotel staff callously refused, subjecting us to the intolerable noise until 11:45 PM. This level of insensitivity is unprecedented, and we have never encountered such a blatant disregard for guests' well-being in any hotel we've stayed at before.
