- Cecilia (10/5): Excellent accommodation in a perfect location. - The location was perfect. 2 mins walk to the main high street. Lots of lovely cafes, independent shops, and pubs.
The accommodation was excellent. A lovely cosy cottage. Everything you needed was provided.
- Dean (9/5): Relaxing pleasant stay in a warm cosy property - Very well presented property. Great location with good local amenities. Very comfy beds. The property got very warm quickly The storage in the kitchen was a challenge. There wasn't enough room for us to store food or items
- Ian (10/5): Brilliant - The bed was lovely and cozy and location is spot on Comfy bed 🤣
- Christina (10/5): It was a pleasure to stay at Bluebird Cottage, it was cosy and clean and the decor was lovely. - I had read that the cottage was cosy and it was! Everything we needed was there and the decor was lovely. It was well situated close to the centre of town with shops, cafes etc and there was good communication with the owners who gave us details about the cottage and the area. Nothing
- Colebourne (9/5): - Location, comfortable and warm. Nothing
- Sam (10/5): -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vi (10/5): Great relaxing base to explore Pickering - The location was excellent - conveniently placed to explore the center of Pickering, supermarkets a short walk away and a playground not far away for little ones. The cottage was very cosy and warm, and a perfect base during a storm which scuppered our travel plans. The cottage was also very well equipped with everything you'd need to cook well at home. We appreciated all the basic condiments (eg. Salt, oils, tea, coffee, etc) and the lovely sweet treats! Nothing! Everything was great
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful cottage and tastefully decorated. Very cosy and warm and so clean. Really well equipped and we loved the bird theme throughout. Great location and despite being near the road it was really peaceful.
I worked in the kitchen for a couple of days and the WiFi was absolutely fine and it was lovely to watch the birds on the red roofs and to see the church steeple.
Excellent info provided ahead of our stay and lovely welcome goodies.
- Ron (9/5): Most comfortable place yet! - Fantastic location, the most comfortable double beds, a fabulously powerful shower and beautifully furnished Nothing
- Jake (10/5): Fabulous! - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bluebird Cottage. Great location. Spotlessly clean and cosy. Extremely comfortable bed. Very well equipped throughout. Cute courtyard. A real home from home feel and seeing the church lit up at night out of the kitchen window What a bonus! 😍 Nothing not to like
- Julia (10/5): Highly recommended! - Bluebird Cottage is like a home from home. Everything you could possibly need plus more is there. Very clean and clearly well looked after by the owners. Nothing is too much trouble and loads of information about the property, the place and equipment is provided. Stayed in many cottages over the last 30 years and can honestly say this is one of the nicest.
Loved Pickering. So much to do and loads of excellent places to eat. Well placed to do lots of sightseeing too. Really friendly place. Nothing to dislike!
- Hayley (10/5): Lovely cottage, homely feel and great location - Lovely cute cottage, very cosy and great location for everything N Yorks has to offer. It's a great base for visiting nearby locations, everything about half an hour away for us but also Pickering itself is a lovely spot for a walk and potter around the high street. Good facilities in the cottage and nice little touches like welcome chocolates and biscuits. It's only 5 mins walk to Lidl and Co-op. Check in was very easy, everything in the cottage was to a very high standard. Appreciated the washing/drying facilities. The bathroom was a little small but it was fine for the 3 of us. It's on a very busy road and we occasionally had trouble parking outside but it does free up quite often. Traffic gets backed up along the road due to the traffic lights at Lidl.
- Donna (10/5): Perfect little getaway - Had everything we needed and felt like a home from home
- Sargent (10/5): Exceptional - It was a treat for the wife's birthday. It didn't let us down. It's a lovely cottage with everything you need. The decor was nice and warm and very clean. The front room was cosy leading into the kitchen which had a log burner. Everything you need was available so we cooked a large breakfast before going on are adventures. Pickering is a great place to walk around with some great pubs to eat in. We visited Whitby which is 30 minutes drive to. Plus if you watch Bangers and cash on tv it's a 5 minute drive to Thornton le dale which itself is a lovely place. Nothing

- Uschi (9/5): A cosy cottage in bustling Pickering - Lovely cottage in the centre of Pickering. Surprisingly spacious bedrooms for a cottage with large comfortable beds. Clean, modern bathroom with very roomy shower. Cosy lounge and dining kitchen.
Bluebird cottage is in a great location to explore the North Yorkshire national park and coast, as well as a number of castles and Abbeys in the area. We particularly enjoyed castle Howard, Nunnington Hall and Rievaulx Abbey. Pickering itself is a lovely market town with a castle and of course the Yorkshire moors railway departs from Pickering station! Would definitely stay again 😊 Nothing.
