• Giuseppe (9/5): Sicuramente il mio punto di riferimento per i prossimi soggiorni a Stresa - Appartamento grande, confortevole e pulito; il gestore è educato, simpatico e disponibile. Stresa e le Isole Borromee sono posti magici. Il sabato sera si è sentito un po' di rumore fino a tarda serata, ma è comprensibile essendo la struttura nel pieno centro di Stresa.

• Walter (10/5): Sehr zentral gelegenes großzügiges Apartmnent mit Giuliano als freundlichem, hilfbereiten Eigentümer - Die Lage war außergewöhnlich. Mitten im alten Ortskern zwischen den vielen Restaurants und Gaststätten,. Keine 5 Minuten zur Anlegestelle. Wir sind jeden Tag mit dem öffentlichen Schiff zu einer der Inseln oder einem der Uferorte gefahren. Die Räumlichkeit war großzügig und modern praktisch. Ein altes Haus nit Terrasse im 1. Stock und einem kleinen Balkon in einer anderen Richtung des Hauses. Wir haben die Kochmöglichkeiten nicht ausgenutzt, sondern auf dem Zimmer nur klein gefrühstückt und ein oder zweimal ein kaltes Abendessen eingenommen. Wenn wir noch einmal nach Stresa kommen, werden wir versuchen, das Apartment wieder zu buchen. Alles o.k.

• Chong Yu (10/5): - The host, Giuliano was great. He went above and beyond to pick us up from the Stresa station as there was no taxi available. Because we were a group of 4 adults and 1 child with 4 big luggages, he even had to make 2 trips. Overall the place was great. If there is only 1 thing, it is the need to carry the luggage up the steps. As we travelled all the way from Singapore, and this being just one of the locations we were going to, we had huge luggages. I think this is expected with all the buildings in Stresa. Giuliano was great though, helping to take some of the luggages up for us too.

• Marlou (10/5): - De ligging is uitstekend en het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien. Erg ruim en schoon. Vanuit het appartement is het 5 minuten lopen naar het meer waar vandaan de boten naar de eilanden vertrekken. Ook is er een supermarkt op loopafstand. Ook fijn dat het appartement van airco voorzien is. We moesten in het begin wat wennen aan de geluiden vanuit het restaurant beneden en van buiten, maar je zit natuurlijk ook middenin een drukke, toeristische plaats. Na 1 dag waren we gewend en hoorden we het niet eens meer. Niet storend dus.

• Geoffrey (10/5): In the centre of the centre of sublime Stresa - The greeting was warm, the location in the centre of Stresa was fabulous and a great base for exploring beautiful Lake Maggiore and further afield to Lake Orta. Close to both ferry and bus. Apartment was spacious and airy, lovely bathroom and excellent luggage storage that kept floor space clear. Postioned above a nice restaurant but still quiet. The delightful balcony, both front and back, was a real highlight allowing for private aperitif or dinner with view and atmosphere. Would come back - again and again. Nothing. Outstanding place.

• Julie (10/5): A fantastic apartment - This is a lovely apartment in a great location. You are less than 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, a bus stop, a supermarket, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment itself is great. Everything is clean, well maintained and all the basics are provided including good quality bedding and towels. The bed folds away but it's a king size, comfortable mattress and we actually left it down during our stay as there is plenty of room. The terrace is great, a sun trap but a large parasol is provided. Giuliano is a fantastic host. he really wants to make sure everything is done for you to be able to have a good holiday. We would love to return.

I location is ideal...you literally walk out the door into the heart of everything. It's quiet as well. Both the bedrooms have air conditioning so you can climate control for your comfort. It's also incredible to have this much space, and a 2 bedroom 2 bath with both having complete privacy...amazing. Giuliano was an exceptional host. Very communicative, flexible, and incredibly helpful in supporting me to figure out the area and transportation back to MXP. I absolutely would recommend this apartment and will definitely stay there again when I return. Thank you Giuliano for everything!! Nothing...it was all just perfect!

The apartment is located in the centre of the old town amidst restaurants, cafes, shops, wine bars, etc. The host was wonderful- extremely helpful and kind. He was helpful, informative and such a pleasure to work with. This apartment could not be in a better location. It is minutes from the ferry dock and close to excellent restaurants and gelato shops. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Guiliano, we appreciate all you did for us.
• Сергей (10/5): Great place in city center - The apartment is good. Well furnished, friendly and helpful owner, very close to the lake, bus stop, laundry, city center. I really liked the storage room. No problem with suitcases lying around the room. The spacious bathroom and two balconies also provide space to dry clothes. Center location has own disadvantages. However the apartment has good sound isolation, but anyway it is impossible to muffle the sounds of busy cafes nearby. Also there is very little common space in the house - narrow steep stairs, no way to leave a stroller or a bicycle.

It is accessible by train (although the train stopped in Arona due to track repair) and bus from airport. The ferries to the islands and other stops are a stone's throw from the apartment. Our apartment, Mimosa, was on the second floor. It was clean, light, airy with a comfortable bed and fabulous bathroom! We sat outside on the small back balcony in the late afternoon after a day of exploring with a beer and glass of wine and listened to the hustle and bustle of tourists below. Giuliano was friendly with an easy manner and accommodating letting us store our luggage in the apt hours before check in. We like to cook and I would have liked sharper knives, a wooden cutting board, a newer fry/saute pan and a some simple basics in the kitchen for our stay. Aside from that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend the apartment!

• Jessica (10/5): Italian Dream! - Our stay at the Stresa Residence was simply, magical! We attended a wedding in Stresa and opted for a property rental rather than a hotel. We are SO glad we did. We had the best time ever. The property was in such an amazing location- central to everything. There was a grocery store 2 minutes up the road. We were able to get to the water in just a few minutes, too. The balcony was such a plus. It was so amazing to sit on the balcony, enjoy a glass of wine, and have such great views of everyone strolling through the shops and streets below. The host, Giuliano was helpful and so kind. He helped us with busing information since we had a hard time communicating in Italian. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious. It was evident that the property owners have pride in their property. HUGE bathroom, closet and the "Murphy Bed" was so comfortable! We liked being able to put the bed up to have more space during the day. The little kitchen was perfect for cooling meals, too! We hope to be back one day!

• Michel (8/5): Very good - the amazing view on the church (we had some much fun listening to the wonderful bells) and the location near the lake, restaurants and shops. the balcony. even if we were in the middle of many restaurants the apartment was very calm. the kindness of our host who was very helpful and always nice (also with our children) the apartment itself was very functional for a family; with a travel bed for our little one, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with a dishwasher! maybe the kitchen could be a bit more furnished but overall we had a very pleasant stay

• Peter (9/5): Excellent stay in a very nice town, with plenty of opportunities for excursions. - The apartment is very spacious on two separate floors and located centrally in the city of Stresa. Two perfect bathrooms, and nice balcony. Noise from the street was hardly noticable in the case of closed windows. Airconditioning present to avoid apartment becoming too hot inside. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We were nicely surprised by the receipt of a small present when we left. The bedroom at the higher floor was very nicely decorated. The room on the lower floor, containing the kitchen and the living room (also acting as the second bedroom) was somewhat soberly decorated.
• Yana (10/5): It was an enjoyable stay and we would gladly recommend this apartment - The apartment is nice, spacious, extremely clean and furnished in a quite smart way. It is located in the very center of Stresa so everything is close. Pets are allowed which is a huge plus for us. All in all we enjoyed our stay a lot. The location in the center means that it can get very noisy, especially because of the restaurant on the ground floor of the same building. But it closes at around 23:30 so for us it was not a problem. But for someone with a kid it could be a deal-breaker.
