Guest Reviews
- Thijs (9/5): - Lovely, clean, plenty of things to make us feel welcome.
We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us. Happy to have booked you again for my next trip. There were a few spiders in the building. But I guess that is too be expected in buildings like this.

Alles was dik in orde
- Tracy (10/5): Idyllic stay in a lovely cottage - Very well equipped. Lots of small touches to make it extra comfortable - milk in the fridge, fresh flowers, kindling and wood for the fire, jigsaws, games and books. Very clean, lots to do locally and plenty of pubs and good food within a short drive. We really enjoyed our few days here All was good
- Carly (10/5): - Lovely cottage, spacious and had everything we could have needed. Log burner was great, well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Nothing to note.
- Eleanor (10/5): A perfect country get away. - So spacious and immaculate. Everything you could need, and more. Really peaceful and private. Even having it's own garden made such a difference to the experience. We didn't get to stay longer...
- Pringle (9/5): Lovely place to stay, well appointed and really so little to quibble about - Perfect location for us. Well priced property and nicely finished A slight obsession of ours - why provide such small bath towels. A full size bath towel is such a welcoming item
- Anele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeannette (10/5): Perfect home from home surrounded by beautiful English countryside - Very friendly interaction even before we arrived. All our questions were answered immediately and when it turned out that Booking had failed to pass on the info that we were bringing our -albeit small- dog that was no problem either. The instructions how to find the remote cottage were foolproof and when we arrived after a tiring journey there were fresh flowers to welcome us. There were also treats and dog bags (Your never being enough of those!) and as a person who drinks milk in her morning cup of coffee I was very happy to find a bottle of milk in the fridge. How very thoughtful! The cottage was very clean and the furniture are beautifully made to match the character of the cow stable turned into holiday home. The master bedroom is huge and for such a small place we were surprised to find 2 bathrooms. The shower is also wonderfully wide. The kitchen has everything you need: a proper cooker and oven, a kettle, a French press and a big fridge and freezer with three drawers. There's also a 4 slot toaster - perfect for family breakfasts. We didn't use the microwave but it's still worth mentioning that there is one. As the mornings were rather chilly and we are early birds, we particularly loved the fireplace. There was enough wood and some fire starters for the week. We couldn't have been happier! There was absolutely nothing to complain about!
- Shirley (9/5): Very good value - Would stay again! - Very spacious, well equipped. 2 bathrooms with availability of showers & a bath. So many possibilities for entertainment. Lots of Spiders & bugs. Not close to town if you did not have a vehicle. Very poor cell phone reception.
- Tracy (10/5): Perfect getaway - I have never experienced peace and relaxation like I did at Friesian Cottage. It gave me more than I needed. Nothing to not like. If you want peace and quiet in a beautiful cottage situated in the countryside
you won't be disappointed.
