They gave me a guide to explore the town and helped us understand how to get to my next destination. The breakfast also was so complete and delicious.

I felt more like a student in a boarding school than a paying guest. Consequently, this is the first time I have ever rated a hostel below an 8. Additionally, the kitchen ventilation is very poor, there was a foul,lingering odor the moment I walked in. Kitchen

• Yuki (10/5): - The location was great, and the bed sheets and duvet covers were pristine white and very clean. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped with cooking utensils. The shower had a steady supply of hot water, which was very comfortable. Of course, it gets dirty at night with many guests staying there, but the cleaning staff worked hard every day to clean the bathrooms and rooms, which was very pleasant. The staff were always ready to answer questions and were very supportive. I think I'll come back to Tirana and stay at this hostel again. I highly recommend it. With the window open, the smell of cigarette smoke sometimes drifted into the bedroom from outside.

• DAI (10/5): 事前予想を裏切る快適さ - 6人部屋ですが、かなり広いので圧迫感がまったくなく快適です。トイレやバスルームもたくさんあるのでストレスフリーでした。立地も中心部やバス停に近いのですごく便利です。

• Manu (10/5): - Posizione ottima, situata in una traversa tranquilla, a poche centinaia di metri dalla Grande Moschea, dalla stazione autobus e a una decina di minuti a piedi da Piazza Skanderberg. Lo stabile è una villetta a più piani, con un bello spazio esterno a disposizione e decorata con pitture murali davvero carine. Ho trovato sempre tutto pulito, dai bagni alla cucina alla sala comune, e ho dormito davvero comodamente. Premio soprattutto lo staff: la disponibilità di Amber, la cortesia di Olti, la gentilezza e la simpatia di Angy. Il personale dell'ostello merita 10 e più stelline: infatti ha soddisfatto le mie richieste ed è stato supportivo oltre che amichevole. Questa è stata la ciliegina sulla torta, oltre alla tenera Micia, la gattina di cui si prendono cura in ostello, coi suoi quattro cucciolini. :-) Dovessi tornare a Tirana, senza ombra di dubbio risceglierei il Mandarine Hostel. Soggiorno perfetto. Grazie di cuore!

Ufortunately the hostel in negative way meet my expectations. - I paid for room with balcony, I don't get balcony. - hostel system makes mistake and I got wrong room. The owners didn't take care about my positive feelings and didn't met my expectations of refunding - there was not too clean, besides on the ceiling the animals was doing something and it was disturbing. The room was really bad. In general - i am not too much demanding. I was really happy that staff try to helps me and correct navigate me when I was on plane. I didn't expect too much. I wanted to have good condition to sleep. Usually I am giving rate 9-10 even I am paying similar money per night.

While we were talking, he sat too close to me, even I have already tried to move far away. I appreciate how he built and decorated the house, but please be careful if you are single traveler here.
• NianYu (8/5): - 地點不錯，步行10-15分鐘可以到市區，周圍蠻安靜的。女生宿舍六人房床鋪很舒適，有厚被被，帶鎖的置物櫃。共用浴室尚可接受，有打掃大哥幫忙清理得乾乾淨淨，有吹風機，熱水也蠻充足，沒有遇到變冷水的情況。wifi蠻強的讚讚！櫃檯人員也蠻nice的~ 共用使浴室的衛生紙跟垃圾桶沒有很好用，其中一個垃圾桶壞掉，每次丟垃圾都要用手掰開有點噁。

Accanto ad un recinto di galline che non rendevano il risveglio proprio silenzioso. L'area esterna sarebbe molto bella solo che durante la mia permanenza non era molto curata Lo staff fumava tranquillamente in veranda senza preoccuparsi che questo potesse dare fastidio agli ospiti. Gli arredi nella parte living sono vecchi e puzzano. La cucina necessiterebbe di un restyling perché c'è un odore molto fastidioso. La stanza adibita al dormitorio femminile era un pò troppo piccola per 6 letti, durante la notte mancava l'aria. Durante il mio soggiorno stavano facendo dei lavori molto rumorosi tutto il giorno, questo senza darne notizia e neanche scusarsi.

It is rare to find a place that keeps such a high level of quality and consistency over multiple visits. Everything from the cleanliness and comfort to the welcoming atmosphere continues to exceed my expectations. The staff are as friendly and helpful as ever and always make sure guests feel at home. The common areas are perfect for meeting people while still offering enough space to relax and enjoy some quiet time. The location is also very convenient and makes it easy to explore the city. It is clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining this hostel and it really shows. After three stays with such positive experiences I can confidently say I will be coming back again. From the moment I arrived again, it felt familiar, comfortable, and very welcoming. What really makes this hostel special is the staff. Every member of the team is amazing, professional, friendly, and always welcoming. They create such a positive atmosphere that it truly feels like a small community rather than just a place to sleep. Whether you need help with recommendations, directions, or just want a nice conversation, the staff are always there with a smile. The hostel itself is clean, comfortable, and very well organized. Everything is managed with care and you can tell that the team truly wants guests to have a great experience. Because of this, it is easy to relax, meet other travelers, and enjoy your time in Tirana. Staying here for a longer period made me appreciate even more how consistent the quality is. Everything is simply perfect and the atmosphere is one of the best I have experienced in any hostel. I am really happy I chose Mandarine Hostel again and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Tirana. If you want a place with great people, a welcoming environment, and excellent service, this is definitely the hostel to stay in. NONE
• Gabriel (9/5): Fine just to meet but not long stay term - Very near from Albania downtown center, if you come from bus station, you could start walking from the pyramid and it's very near from there, despite its at center just to arrive there highly recommend you to locate in front and not in back because it's hidden from Only stayed 2 days and were enough for me due to a lot of old people snoring all night and couldn't sleep properly, asked reception if they could bring me something to not hear all that people and they try the best but they doesn't have it available (they need to go at pharmacy to purchases it)

• Chris (10/5): - This has to be one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in, let alone Albania ❤️‍🔥. Central location but tucked around a back street so you are luckily away from noise for a decent sleep. Place is super clean, beds comfy, A/C good in the rooms with lots of shower options on the floors and room with decent sized lockers provided free and all for a fair price. Fully equipped kitchen and shared spaces (indoor/outdoor) with additional laundry facilities, drinks/coffee etc readily available with staff eager to assist at all times. So the staff... 😏 😅 THESE GUYS ROCK 💯...shout out to Olti, Amba, Sokol, Darci....the little kittens Misha/Misho?... Mixty the puppy I wanted to take with me... And last but not least (I saved the best for last), Anxhi (Angel 😏 🤢 ), who is an absolute diamond with a super easy going personality and makes everything for your stay simple and fun 😊. She is also a fantastic dancer (*she made me say this under fearful conditions 🤣 🤣). I would stay here again without hesitation on my next visit to Tirana, book it... What started as a short stay turned into a full month, and it truly felt like home. The staff are absolutely incredible, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you need. They create such a warm and positive atmosphere that it is easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. The hostel itself is very clean and well maintained. The rooms and common areas are consistently tidy, and you can really see the care that goes into keeping everything in great condition. I strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tirana. It is the perfect combination of comfort, location, and hospitality. I will definitely be back. NA

• Matthew (10/5): - A modern, clean, and comfortable hostel near to exchanges, restaurants, supermarkets, and the centre. Quiet at night and other guests and staff are friendly. Bathrooms were clean and functional too. The common room (which they call the kitchen) has everything you need and plenty of seating space. The bedroom is spacious. Only minor thing is the bedroom door is translucent so at night if anyone triggered the light in the hallway, the bedroom would become lit up too and sometimes wake us up. Also, the air conditioner in the room is a Tesla model and, like most European travellers, I am trying to avoid supporting products linked to Elon Musk as much as I can. I would appreciate it if the hostel would consider a different brand when they come to replace this in the future.
