- Esther (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and I would certainly book again if it is available in the future! - It is cosy and the kitchen is well equipped. The cottage is clean and tidy.
It was easy to up the temperature a little as it happened to have turned rather chilly the day we arrived.
The location is lovely and ok despite being by a main road. It would've been lovely to have some enough coal/wood for one fire... Especially as it was a very wet and damp few days.
- Douglas Neil (10/5): It was the icing on the cake for a family weekend. - Woodbine Cottage was exactly as described. Facilities and comfort were wonderful.
It is a beautiful area and the location gives easy access to it all.
- Claire (8/5): Highly recommend - Really enjoyed Christmas Week away at Woodbine Cottage & could of happily stayed much longer.
Very nice touch hosts had put a Christmas Tree up and decorations. Made a huge difference to our stay.
Loved it. Thank you
Welcome pack very sweet touch.
Great pub across the road The outside light didnt work so fumbling around with a torch but im sure this would be easily resolved.
- Tracey (10/5): Lovely cottage - Very clean. Lovely and warm. Pleasant rooms and lovely views. Well equipped and nice to have a welcome pack.
- Corinne (10/5): A really nicely maintained and pretty cottage. - Woodbine cottage is lovely. We were very comfortable and had a really pleasant stay. A gorgeous garden for the dog to race around in, fabulous comfy beds and sofas and a well stocked kitchen. The welcome pack was much appreciated.
I wish I'd noticed that the bathroom was downstairs, as it was a bit inconvenient for those night time trips to the loo, or washing hands before feeding the baby.
Lots of cooking and eating implements, but no cupboard space for our food, which had to sit out on the work top.
- Mary-ann (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - Excellent facilities, well stocked kitchen. Great garden. Warm and cosy house, almost perfect holiday cottage, very comfortable. Beds and bedding were lovely. Welcome package very thoughtful. Arrival instructions got us to back of house but had to walk round front of cottages to see which was the right one, could do with name of cottage at the back so you can tell which 1 it is as it’s a long terrace.
