The energy of the entire hotel felt radiant and uplifting — light, bright, and deeply welcoming. Every member of the staff was kind and attentive, creating an atmosphere of warmth and care. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast — without a doubt, the best in Kathmandu. I was graciously greeted each morning by Chef Machindra, Executive Chef Sushmit, Rabin, and Babu, who went out of their way to encourage me to try new dishes I might not have chosen myself. Every dish was a delight to the palate and a testament to the culinary passion and professionalism of the team. In fact, based on my wonderful experience in Kathmandu, I chose to book my next stay at the Hilton in Bangkok. While perfectly adequate, it simply did not compare to the outstanding hospitality, food, and vibrant energy I experienced at Hilton Kathmandu. My heartfelt thanks to the entire team — you’ve set a new standard for excellence.

The massage (a separate paid service) was very pleasant The sauna was very small and not properly heated Overall, the sauna was not warm enough to enjoy The rest of the staff didn’t seem very friendly I didn’t like the condition of my room the next day, there was no working light I called a staff member, and he offered to call an engineer, but I didn’t come here to spend my time waiting for repairs or having strangers in my room. Because of this, I chose not to extend my stay

Good shower and bathtub. Mini bar is free unless requiring refill. Which is great value. Great breakfast! So many options to choose from and the some of the best croissants I’ve ever had. Great spa and gym. Service was excellent. Room service is affordable and delicious. Tricky to figure out the TV and how to use Netflix. Would be great if this was more user friendly. Thankfully I had my iPad so it was not required.

Every amenity was carefully considered and of high quality, making our stay effortlessly comfortable. Service was a standout: warm, intuitive, and consistently attentive. Every request was met with efficiency and genuine hospitality. The rooftop pool and spa facilities were a highlight—beautifully maintained and the perfect place to unwind, while the gym offered all the essentials for a convenient and productive workout. A truly five-star experience and outstanding value for money. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

The spa and gym were exceptional, offering a perfect balance of relaxation and wellness. Dining was a standout experience—delicious cuisine paired with attentive service. We also made use of their private car service, which was prompt and professional. The tours arranged by the hotel were enriching and gave us a deeper understanding of Nepal’s culture and history. Without a doubt, this is the best place to stay in Nepal. Highly recommended!

I can't think of any other trip I been on where the hotel staff are so so accommodating, well done to all. Unfortunately, the the roof top swimming pool heating wasn't working, so we were unable to use the pool.
