• Eng Teck (10/5): clean, great service, value for money! - Basit the hostel manager went beyond to arrange for a driver and communicate in English as middle person for my trips to Gulmarg and Pahalgam. He is reliable and responsible. The property is very reasonable for the price. The rooms and toilets are neat. The place in Raj Bagh is a 1km walk from Polo View market and 2.5km walk to Dal lake ghats. Perhaps it’s off season, the cafe could have been done up wirh some activities to spruce up activities.

• Yagya (9/5): A cozy stay with great food and warm hospitality, but the bonfire setup could use an upgrade. - The food was exactly what I hoped for—fresh, delicious, and satisfying. The staff was quick and attentive. I ordered the chicken soup, and I could immediately tell it was freshly made—not the usual packet stuff. It had that homemade feel, full of rich flavors and comforting goodness. The overall experience was great, but there’s room for improvement when it comes to the bonfire setup. Given that the place stays cool year-round, having two or three smaller bonfire spots would make it much cozier and more accessible for everyone. Alternatively, a bigger bonfire pit that can accommodate more people would also do the trick.

• Wingedtraveller (10/5): Comfortable, decent stay - Beds were clean and comfortable. Hot water was available whenever required. I stayed for a night and was a comfortable stay. If you are taking an early morning flight, it might be difficult to find auto or cab in apps.

• Arohi (9/5): It was a very memorable stay at this beautiful place. Would love to visit again - The most great thing about the property was the location. It is located in a wry rich area of Srinagar. Most of the places are quite close by and walking distance. Dal lake, zero bridge , Lal chowk are near to the hostel. The hostel has a great vibe and is very clean.Irfan bhai at the hostel is very helpful and kind. The hostel is very safe for solo travellers (especially female) . All the beds have curtains for privacy. All the rooms have heater installed . Bathrooms and rooms are very clean.

• Dharana (7/5): Good - The staff is good. It's clean and the location is nice. The weather in Srinagar was hot and goStops didn't have AC. There was 1 cooler for a 6 bed dorm. So it was not very comfortable.

Ground floor dorms and room with workstations didn't have AC. There was a power issue. Given it is a new property, they are setting up everything (which is understandable). I am sure this shall not be an issue eventually

In a 6 room dorm, the price was upwards of 2k per bed ! Outrageous pricing for a Friday. Demand and pricing should not be mixed in such conditions wherein it is a burden for single travellers
