Neil (6/5): Nice apartment but shame about the drawbacks. - Lovely spacious apartment in stylish development close to local amenities, yet in a quiet location and with the sound of a nearby mountain stream. Host company tried to impose damage deposit that was not stated in property details, which was stressful and time consuming for us to resolve. Confusing arrival information - ‘first floor’ is actually level 0 in lift, the apartment number is only signposted from one direction, and even after taking the lift there are steps to carry luggage up. The allocated garage parking space was occupied long-term by someone’s car. Kitchen lacked some basic items - no cutlery (except steak knives), no microwave and the kettle plug didn’t fit the sockets. Nearby Locarno was a disappointment, with some sharp practices and parking fines for the unwary visitor.
