Emplacement au milieu de la forêt à seulement 5 minutes en voiture de Pidurangala rock. On se sent à la maison. Nous avons partagé des moments, échangé, il nous a emmené faire des activités, des visites, fait découvrir des lieux peu touristiques, comme des lieux emblématiques. Très disponible, il a été à notre écoute, nous ne pouvons que vous recommander d'y aller !!! Nous, on a eu du mal à quitter notre chambre !

• Isabelle (9/5): Family homestay in a jungle oasis outside of Sigirya - This is a true family homestay surrounded my beautiful jungle plants. We really enjoyed our time here, thank you Thilina and your family for making us feel at home!
• Christina (2/5): Very poor - Nice welcome and cute terrace infront of the room - cockroaches in the bed even though we used the mosquito net and angry reaction of the host when we told him that we could not sleep there (he seemed generally nice but very keen on making money) - leaky toilet - 3000 rupees for two washing loads that we hung up ourselves
• Don (9/5): Great stay! - Really enjoyed my stay with Thilina and his lovely family. They are very helpful and welcoming. Thilina showed me around in their garden which is at the border of a national park. I even got to lend one of their bikes to cycle to Pidurangala Rock (10min cycle). So this is a perfect spot for visiting the rock. Highly recommend!

• Noa (10/5): 10/10 stay - definitely recommend - This was my favourite stay in Sri Lanka. Thilina is an amazing host who will organize transport and all the top activities for you to do in Sigiriya. I especially enjoyed his company as I ate my meals and climbed Pidurangala. His wife also makes delicious meals! The location is perfect for exploring Sigiriya and Dambulla. There is no A/C, only a fan, but I found the room to be comfortable regardless.
• Oliver (10/5): Excellent and kind host family and accommodation. Recommend! - Beautiful home and decorations, furniture, nature, close by to the main attractions. The host family is very friendly. Home cooked food is lovely. He kind of acts as a tour guide also and suggests/arranges all transport and activities if you want that. We weren't sure if the rate for the tours/transport was the normal rate or not. The village tour is organised from a separate company and starts with bullock ride, which I would not do again (felt bad for the animal). The village cooked lunch is worthwhile to see and eat though.
• Katharina (10/5): Exceptional - Thilina Homestay is a cute homestay in the middle of the jungle. So its perfect for people that want to calm down, relax and enjoy the nice nature. It also has a nice private garden and a hammock which was very cool. The room has ecerything you need as is very big and comfortable and clean. It has no A/C but as it is beneath trees it does not become too hot. The highlight of our stay here was the festival that we were invited to participate which the host organized for us as he knew we love sport and especially running. So he spontaneously arranged for us to be able to participate in the running conpetition and supported us which was an awesome experience we will not forget! This was definitely the highlight of oir trip which would have been only possible with the courage and support of our host to make the most of our stay. Thank you!
• Kari (10/5): Relaxed homestay in a cool lush quiet garden, with the kindest family ever! - The accommodation is in a beautiful cool lush garden with the lovliest friendliest family ever. Thilina and his wife were so kind and hospitable, and their kids are just adoring. Location is few minutes from Pidurangala but totally out of the hustlebustle of the village; but also not far from Sigiriya. Thilina is also a guide with wide historic knowledge about the area, and he also speak great English, so if you want a proper guide for exploring the historic Unesco-site of the Lion Rock, you dont have to go far. He is the best. We loved our stay and immediately felt home. Breakfast was great, with the BEST sambol of all SriLanka! (and we've had a lot!) Warmly recommended stay! All was great!
• Mohd (9/5): Superb - The host mr Thilina is so accommodated. He was very friendly and helpful. The room are well prepared and the surrounding of the guesthouse is so calm and pleasant. A good place if you want to experience the local culture & lifestyle. Thilina was also very helpful and experienced in helping me to plan my trip and recommended good places. Staying here you will disconnected from the wide world and learn to appreciate the nature more.
