Guest Reviews

- Paolo (7/5): - La vicinanza a tutti i ristoranti e supermercati.
- Dalia (7/5): Overall, the stay was okay, but there were some issues with the boiler outlet and the bed, which made it less comfortabl - The neighborhood is good, there is access to a private pool, the parking area is quite large, and the apartment smells clean. Everything would be fine, but the power outlet for the boiler doesn’t work. We plugged it in, waited for warm water, but only cold water came out. We had to use an extension cord to another outlet just to be able to shower. This is, in my opinion, the biggest downside of these apartments.
The bed frame was wobbly and the mattress unstable, so it was a bit cramped and uncomfortable for two people.

- Anastasiia (6/5): - I liked the coziness and comfort of the apartment — it was a pleasant place to stay. The location is great, everything is close by. Communication with the hosts was quick and clear, even though it was in Spanish (thank goodness for the translator!). I didn’t like that the floor was dirty and the bed linen had an unpleasant smell. Also, no one ever checked in to ask if everything was okay or if I needed anything — I missed a bit of care and attention as a guest. These things slightly spoiled the overall experience.
- Viviana (9/5): - La posizione era ottimale, l'appartamento ben tenuto e l'host molto attenta.
- Fernando (5/5): - Decent terrace, nice pool. It wasn’t clean, hair in the toilet/shower, fat dropping from the extractor in the kitchen, dirty walls, and damps. Uncomfortable bed.

- Yoana (9/5): Superb - It was clean and well arranged! The water heater was way too small for two people.
The instructions for checking in were vague and we had to use the help of a resident to find the place. There was not even a room number on the key!
A piece of advice- you should put a drying rack for clothes on the terrace, not all clothes are made for the dryer!
- Simonas (8/5): I would like to come back here again - Super clean, nice hosts and nice premises. Shower drain clocked.
- Gints (7/5): With some maintenance and updates, this could be a much more enjoyable stay. - We had a peaceful stay and appreciated the warm welcome from the host. The area is very quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the free WiFi worked well. We also appreciated the small kitchen, which was convenient for preparing lunch and eating in. There were several things that could be improved. The hot water was extremely limited for two people, and the shower had multiple issues — the shower diverter was broken, so only the overhead part worked, and without a curtain, water easily splashed onto the floor. There was also a strong smell at the entrance, which was unpleasant.
Additionally, the apartment didn’t fully match the photos on Booking.com. The images appear to show a newly renovated space, but in reality, the apartment felt more worn and not as clean or polished. We would also recommend checking the water heater's electrical setup, as we felt a slight tingling sensation in our fingers when touching the pipes connected to it.
- Celine (8/5): Perfect for our short stay - Darcy was such a kind and helpful host! Location was good for connecting to other parts of the island. Hot water was extremely limited
- Gian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dean (10/5): Loved it, wish I had stayed longer! - Host welcoming, even leaving milk/tea facilities. Very peaceful, homely, clean, secure apartment and modern. Everything you could possibly need, is there. 😊 I couldn’t find any English channels although there was free great WiFi
- Brigita (9/5): Superb -
- An (7/5): Good - Nicely renovated studio with comfortable bed and shower. Swift communication with the keeper. Part of a gated residential area. But very quiet.
- Laura (1/5): Cozy apartment but felt unsafe and couldn't stay! - Apartment was clean, nicely decorated, bed was comfy, TV was in English. 2nd night there was an incident where someone was knocking aggressively on the door and ringing the doorbell constantly. I was on my own and refused to answer the door. Tried ignoring it but it persisted! I went to the door and no peephole so I couldn't see who it was. I asked through the door who is it and noone answered. This went on for a while, stopped, and started again. I was feeling very unsafe and afraid to stay there on my own, so booked into a hotel. There were only 2 hotels available so last minute. But I waited until it stopped for a while and I had my bags packed straight away and ran out the door and over to hotel don Pedro across the road where I waited safely for an uber to pick me up. I was very shook up. I had to get out of there, I wasn't going to wait around for things to get worse. At the hotel that I checked into in Los Americas, I spoke with a staff member about the situation and was told that Costa del Silencio is a very bad neighbourhood, the staff member at the hotel also told me they live in the same area and would never advise anyone to stay in this location due to the crime there. The owner of the apartment says this has never happened before, maybe this is true, but it happened now. There are security gates on site which were constantly left open. I requested a partial refund via booking.com from march 2nd to 5th since I couldn't stay due to feeling unsafe, which booking.com was very sympathetic to the situation which I appreciate! It took a couple of days for them to get a response from the owner of this apartment and then informed me that the owner is unwilling to give a refund which is out of their control and to contact the owner directly. On contacting the owner I am told that it is nothing to do with them, and that they checked cameras and asked neighbours what happened and nothing. Tried to make me out to be a liar, and was not very nice about the situation.
