- Reckin (9/5): - Host was very friendly. Would like to have a dishwasher
- piacaming (9/5): - It was perfect location for what we needed and great location in general The parking was a little hard to get into but that can't be helped
- Narelle (8/5): A very enjoyable 3 days to relax and take in the sights of Ballina - The location was great, comfortable lounge with plenty of cushions, bed comfortable, huge verandah with table and chairs and BBQ. Kitchen facilities were good. We stayed for 3 days only issue we had was fridge was way too small and being on the floor very difficult to get anything out of small shelves. Freezer section was good and there were freshly made ice cubes on our arrival.
- Nolyine (9/5): Restful and affordable. - Great location , good value and friendly staff, Comfortable beds!!

- Paul (1/5): We were very disappointed. $225 a night for accommodation that was extremely dusty, not cleaned well, hair and un cleane - Location only Location only
- Vanessa (9/5): So much better than staying in a motel or hotel. - The location was brilliant. Just opposite the main pub in town but back off the street. Right across from the perfect place for a dip in the river that adjoins the ocean. Walkways galore into town and also the beach. Owners were lovely and helpful. Nothing
- Roci (10/5): Great Location - What a surprise this place was! The location was great! Opposite was water, clean, a comfortable bed, a great balcony with views and access straight down to Shawsy and the water. Photos didn't do it justice. The owner was helpful and friendly, and let us check in early.
- Sharon (8/5): Comfortable and clean - Great location, within walking distance to Shaw's Bay Hotel and a couple of take aways. Nice view. Lovely host. Loved the little chocolates, was a nice surprise :) bed was incredibly comfy too! Parking is quite difficult for bigger cars.
Can't think of anything else I didn't like.
- Gayle (7/5): Location and view great. Some appliances need updating. - The view and location Internet, tv, blind didn’t block all light, could hear footsteps from upstairs, car park, no PowerPoint in bathroom.

- Fay (9/5): Superb -
- Lauren (9/5): Superb - Great location, pretty outlook and hosts were very friendly Could have provided a few more coffee/tea options and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel
- Kristina (6/5): Pleasant - While a lovely view and location and has everything you need, the place does need a deep clean and an update. A few things but most importantly the toilet was leaking from the bottom into the drain in the bathroom. I text Bruce to advise and never heard back which I thought deserved a reply and an opportunity to check it out while I was there but never happened. As others have mentioned the car parking is tight. Lack of communication when an issue was flagged, the car park space and place needs a spruce up.
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jillian (7/5): Quite adequate for our short stay - Neat, clean, compact but still value for money. difficult to park In designated car space.
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent facility Very comfortable and easy process to stay there
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely location; Bruce was very helpful host
- Amanda (6/5): Pleasant - Right across from the water Barking dog next door constantly

The Coffee Shop and Fish & Chip Shop across the road proved handy.
The owner, Bruce, was pleasant & helpful. N/A
- Ashlee (8/5): Great location for a getaway - Beautiful location and view, lovely hosts As we were mainly enjoying some down time in, we would have loved a better tv that facilitates Netflix etc. could be a great addition to your property for those that want downtime
- Jaimee-lee (9/5): Wonderful, nice quit location, fantastic view. Owns are absolutely beautiful. -
- Marianna (8/5): Very good - Where it was situated N/A
- June (8/5): Would stay again, it was close to all facilities - The rooms were comfortable and the area was very nice The hot water was too hot and the cold water didn’t have pressure
- Geoffrey (8/5): A great location and views with an oversize studio, good parking and a helpful host - Location to water, views, great coffee kiosk and walking path. And Bruce the owner was very accommodating and helpful. The accommodation is old, but well equipped and if you need anything extra like a hot plate for the kitchenette, or anything you just ask and Bruce drops it off. Sort of old fashion great service. I should say the the huge balcony with the views is amazing. The under cover parking was appreciated and the communication on the key safe was excellent. Nothing.
- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Glennice (7/5): Very good - Well presented, lovely deck, clean and tidy. Wonderful view Very humid no clothes dryer. Parking a challenge but we did ok
- Lawrence (9/5): Great location, clean and comfortable. - Was in a great location, clean and confortable. Nothing
- Richard (6/5): Good except the big dog next door randomly barking - Location good The big dog next door barking randomly and unnecessarily breaking what would have been a peaceful night sleep
- Nonso (3/5): fair - Quiet environment Apartment door lock is bad and slept with door open in a lonely environment.
- Peter (5/5): Noisy, uncomfortable stay. - Location was nice Very noisy stay, constant stomping from house above. Dog barking through the night from somewhere. Then the stomping from the house above started again at 6am. We will not stay again.
- George (8/5): Very good - Wonderful owners. I had to change my dates at the last minute, and they were incredibly helpful. Also, certainly some of the best instructions that I have ever been given. The apartment is nestled in a great location, quiet, clean, cosy, and comfortable.
- Tony (9/5): Very quiet and comfortable. Would like to have stayed longer. - Excellent location, close to town but quiet. Parking is very tight even for a medium size car
- Tim (9/5): Superb - The apartment was terrific . Clean , tidy and awwome views over the river and out to the coast .
It was well appointed and comfotable with a great takeaway + pub across the road .
Close to walking tracks , the beach , shaws bay and town - ideally located and yet secluded
Highly recommended
- Joshua (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kia (1/5): This was terrible so bad we didn’t stay we left and stayed somewhere else, wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy. - Nothing at all this is falsely advertised, the pictures are the owners house that is upstairs above you. Security cameras everywhere. No privacy, no sea views no way to chromecast to the tv, a dvd player no dvds, the car park was tight and very steep driveway, big dog next door that is restricted to the verandah and barks constantly.
- Diane (8/5): We enjoyed our stay - Great location
- Julie (9/5): quiet peaceful and comfortable - we had a late arrival into town and booked this and by luck the owner was there thus handed over keys and showed us how to operate everything. quiet location and nice apartment no milk for coffee was in fridge. Car park was a tricky angle
- Peter (7/5): pleasant property, start to get a bit-tired looking, paper stuck on coffee table was pretty poor, nic - fresh tea and coffee and sugar bags, small amount of fresh milk would have been nice
- Lachlan (9/5): Superb -
- Marcus (5/5): Not the views we thought we’d get, but clean and tidy nonetheless - Tidy room with basic ammenities. Felt very clean. Undercover parking shared with other guest. Self service check in. The listing stated sea views and the photo placement in the listing really made it look like you’d be looking down on the beach from the balcony. This is not the case, in-fact the sea is just visible through tree’s, and no beach can be seen. You share an entranceway with other guest and can see them when on balcony. Very noisy dog next door.
- Kirsty (8/5): Was a nice place to stay for the night . - Location was wonderful for us , Ice in the freezer , we have stayed in many acc , and having some jam, bread , marg is ALWAYS a nice touch . I also understand the parking was small, we have a big car and so did the other pp which made it very hard to get in and out . I know this can’t be helped but it was a pain x
- Edward (9/5): A good accommodation for a short stay - The room was very comfortable and clean. It was a bit hard to park the car
- Sharon (10/5): Very Pleasant - Very helpful and friendly Nothing
- Graeme (9/5): Superb - Tastefully and. Comfortably furnished, beautiful views of parkland ,garden and ocean. Clean with comfortable bed.Hosts were friendly and considerate. A lovely stay All good.
- Matt (10/5): Perfect - Had a great stay will be back
- Laurie (7/5): Good -
- Bernard (7/5): Good -
- Des (6/5): Pleasant - Location was not what we aspected and although instructions were good access was not easy Too far from facilities
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerry (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Close to everything pub across the road shop s close by Parking was a bit difficult with a large vehicle suited for small car but other wise it's a great place to stay
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Graham (10/5): Perfect property in the right location for us, Bruce you made our stay, hit it off with him instaint - No breakfast, location was perfect for us Wish we had a bigger prawn in Exmouth UK, Bruce was the best host and ready for a wind up over HIS prawn
- Mick (7/5): Good -
- Susan (10/5): Bruce was more than accommodating for any requests that we had. Would definitely stay again for a short stay. - Bed was comfy, entire place was very clean.
- Diego (8/5): Very good - Everything was great, completely met our needs. Because everything was exceptional for the price, it did bring out the mattress not meeting the consistency of the service.
Only fault, felt cheap, could be better, which would have made the stay excellent.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (7/5): Good - Close to town and water Dog next door barked all night
- Henry (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great; overlooking Shaws Bay and five minutes drive from the CBD. I arrived in the evening and despite clear and concise instructions re accessing the keg and the location of the unit, it was difficult to find my way around due to the lack of lighting.
Had I arrived in daylight there would not have been any problems.
- Paul (8/5): A hidden gem. - A hidden gem and reasonable cost when considering similat accomodation.
- Katrina (9/5): really lovely location and very lovely room - great locaiton parking was a little tricky to manouver
- Wendy (9/5): Overlooking bay - Close to golf course. Parking was a little tight.
