La villa est située dans un cadre idyllique en pleine jungle. Elle est très grande pour 4 et possède deux grandes terrasses. La piscine est dans un écrin de verdure exceptionnel. La plage est à 200 m. Il y a de nombreux restaurants accessibles à pied. Les petits déjeuners servis le matin étaient excellents

Blisko przyrody, którą można niemalże dotknąć, dom wyposażony jest we wszystko co potrzebne do wymarzonego wypoczynku, czysty i całkiem spory basen do dyspozycji, pyszne śniadanka ze świeżo wyciskanym sokiem i aromatyczną kawą i herbatą, z której słynie wyspa, a wszystko uzupełnia przemiły, pomocy i uczynny właściciel! Skorzystaliśmy też z masaży, które są dostępne na miejscu. Co za relaks!! W pobliżu znajdują się miejsca, gdzie można smacznie zjeść zarówno lokalne jak i europejskie dania. Bardzo urokliwa plaża jest 3 minuty pieszo od posesji. Wszystko co potrzebne znajduje się na miejscu, ale jak ktoś chce odwiedzić centrum lub plażę żółwi to bez problemu można wynająć tuk tuka! Z ogromną przyjemnością wrócimy tam znowu!!
• Slade (10/5): - My family and I had a truly wonderful two-night stay at this villa, just 2 minutes away from the beach. The location was excellent — so close to the ocean that we could easily walk there anytime, yet still quiet and peaceful, giving us plenty of privacy and relaxation. The villa itself was spacious, very clean, and beautifully maintained. Each room was comfortable, well-prepared, and perfect for a family stay. The living areas were cozy and inviting, and there was enough space for all of us to spend time together while also having our own comfort. We especially enjoyed the family-friendly atmosphere. The kids had lots of space to move around and play safely, while we adults could sit back, relax, and enjoy the calm surroundings. The garden and outdoor areas added even more charm and made the whole stay feel refreshing. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. They made sure we felt at home and had everything we needed during our stay. Their hospitality really added a personal touch and made our experience even more special. Overall, our two-night stay was memorable and relaxing from start to finish. We left with beautiful memories and only wished we had more time to spend here. This villa is a perfect choice for families, couples, or groups looking for a comfortable retreat close to the beach. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

• Robert (8/5): Villa in superb private gardens - We stayed in the older villa which has fabulous views over the gardens and pool. The setting is the star here, and the trees hold monkeys, fruit bats, hornbills….so much to see and hear! The property is only a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. We felt slightly isolated but that’s because we visited in low season and many of the surrounding restaurants weren’t operating at full capacity - not a reflection on the property.

Spędziliśmy 4 noce w domu w stylu kolonialnym , 4 minuty spacerem od pięknej plaży Goyambokka . Bardzo dziękujemy !!! Jedynie na co mógłbym zwrócić uwagę to na formę podania śniadanie tzn. zadbanie o szczegóły podania masła, mleka, dżemu , soków, czy też zadbanie o dekorację stołu- kwiatki, obrus lub podkładki, po prostu estetykę podania.
• Elise (10/5): Luxuriant tropical garden, great villas and amazing hosts - Very nice villa nested in a wonderful luxuriant garden with all the tropical quietness and wildlife. From Monkeys to tree frogs and fruit bats, we loved it! Plus the hosts are very good and helpful. We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful , comfortable vila with clean swimming pool outside, not far away from Goyambokka beach and restaurants. Manager cooked for us delicious fish and seafood. It was feeling like at home

• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Stunning property. Massive rooms and lovely decoration. Beds were comfy and rooms very clean. The pool area and gardens were stunning with lots of wildlife, including monkeys, peacocks, butterflies etc. Only one other rental 'cottage' so felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Breakfast was also excellent, different every day and always so filling that we usually skipped lunch! In a great location, just five minutes walk from Gyonbokka beach. Our most expensive accommodation on our trip but definitely worth it! Owners were friendly and helpful but didn't intrude. One bathroom had a bad smell, maybe drains. But given there were two bathrooms, we rarely needed to use so it didn't affect our stay

The personnel was really friendly, and the manager also cooked us a freshly caught fish for dinner. Already want to go back!
• Lee (9/5): Superb - Lovely villa with huge bedrooms! A fridge full of beer and water is a great touch 👌 Pool was nice and the garden setting is beautiful. Unfortunately there were a lot of fires around the property from the neighbours the smoke was very heavy at times.
• Wendy (10/5): Charming stay in a tropical garden with the sound of the waves. - Spacious bungalow set in a tropical garden. This is not high end bland luxury. It is full of character and charm. Whilst there we were visited by a large troop of monkeys, peacocks and palm squirrels. 2 large double bedrooms both with en-suite. Air con and fans. Small but functional kitchen and lounge area. Large verandah with chairs, tables and outside fans and lights. This is where we spent all of our time. There are two properties and we stayed in Silent House. We shared the wonderful pool with Whispering House but we were never using it at the same time. Cooked breakfast provided every morning on the pool terrace. We also had a very good meal there one evening. Owner Opul and his family were very lovely and helpful and can organise transport if needed. Less than a two minute stroll to beautiful Goyambokka beach. 10 mins to the stunning Silent Beach. All good.
• Gunnar (10/5): Exceptional - What a beautiful place and villa! Everything was perfekt, clean, beautiful and working (AC, Fan, shower, warm water, etc.). The garden is so very quite, You feel like being in the jungle, You only hear birds und see nature incl. piecocks, monkeys, leguan, etc.. And the host and his son, they are so friendly and helpful. We recommend the breakfast and also the dinner (ask for it, we were lucky, that the host cooked for us), both is really excellent. We had nothing to complain.
• Lukas (9/5): Lovely tropical adventure stay - Great place , in a lovely tropical garden with a nice swimmingpool. Two nice beaches on walking distance . Very good bed and good working aircondition.And lot of privacy aroun the villa. The owners are very kind and helpfull, and some time they prepare a delicious meal for a good price. They also manage the supply of drinking water and beer for a good price.
• Diane (7/5): Off the beaten track - The gardens were beautiful, and the accommodation was very generous. Big enough for a large family, which probably would have made the price more reasonable, as we were only a party of 2. The owner organised a scooter for us, which was very helpful. The breakfast was okay, certainly the most disappointing during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. Also whenever we wanted to use the pool we had to clear fallen leaves from it.
• Kirsty (10/5): Heaven in the jungle - The team greeted us with friendly smiles and a lovely welcome drink. It is rustic, feels like you are living deep in the jungle and yet it has everything you need and is situated perfectly near restaurants and beaches. The pool is great, the bedrooms are huge and the nature provided our kids with lots of entertainment. The owner kindly organised an excellent dinner for us, gave us delicious curries every morning and toast and fruit for our kids (age 4 and 6). It has been our favourite place to stay so far! Nothing
• Melanie (6/5): Lovely rustic hideaway cottage - Gorgeous rustic jungle beach house, good location with a couple of good restaurants near by. They house is very homely but rustic therefore not the cleanest, there are ants and cockroaches around. The shared pool wasn’t very clean for the 3/4 nights we stayed so we didn’t really use it. The free Breakfast offered was very average, fried egg, bread coffee and bananas only. As above
• Jill (8/5): A great place to stay in the Tangalle area - Very friendly hosts. The bungalow was very spacious, lovely big bedrooms and bathrooms, open plan kitchen between the two rooms leading onto the veranda. The pool is just nearby. The beach is just a five minute walk and it’s also easy to get tuk tuks to other beach locations. The property was great, you just have to adopt a different mindset with the insects that come in.

• Roberto (5/5): Passable - Great swimming pool and garden, the beach is nearby (although a bit dirty and the beach bars are not nice), Upul and his son are awesome, they treated us very well. The beds are comfortable also. There is no daily cleaning of the room, so it gets very dirty and full of insects. The worst part was the huge amount of cockroaches, I think there should be better pest control, plus it was full of worms, spiders, etc. The higiene part was not taken care, there should be more effort in providing a clean accomodation
• Vossel (9/5): Superb - We were welcomed in a beautiful garden with flowers and a pool. We had a nice old villa with original details. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good! Caretakers were very friendly. The house has no proper windows or bug screens, so ants and mosquitos easily come in. There are good mosquito nets however.
• Wojciech (10/5): The most charming place we have ever stayed. - One of the most charming places we have ever stayed. we had the old villa with the kitchen and large living space (+ two bedrooms and two bathrooms). The garden is like your private botanical garden. the hosts are most friendly and helpful. breakfasts are to die for! short walk to the beach, many restaurants and a small convince store. We had wished we could stay longer. the bathrooms are separeted from the bedrooms by an openwork wall so you have little privacy when using it if you share the room with someone. this was really the only one little thing that could be changed in this lovely home.

• Katherine (8/5): We stayed over Christmas and our host was so accommodating and kind. It was a relaxing stay which was a good few days br - It’s located 5mins drive outside of Tangalle and 5mins to the beach. Perhaps remote for some but perfect for us. Upal is a lovely host, helpful, kind and a good chef of Sri Lankan food. He also kindly amended meals for our children. The pool is lovely and the house is spacious with air con, fans and shutters. Wi-Fi was good. Super friendly driver for local trips was organised. It may be a little dated for some although not an issue for us. Beach is nearby although too rough for the children to swim here.

The vegetation on the territory is comparable to a botanical garden. Villa Upul owner and his son helped with everything. Very kind people. We were treated to fruit and made a delicious dinner.
