- Rob (9/5): October 2025 - Fantastic place to stay, very cosy clean and homely.
Had everything we needed and my wife enjoyed the complimentary prosecco! Only thing I could fault was the bed being two singles together, but that would not stop me returning in the future.
- adrian (9/5): - Lovely quirky homely stay . Great location

- Keith (4/5): Not the best - Property was very clean and the location was perfect. The cottage is now very tired. I stayed there same time last year and 12 months on it wasn’t at its best. The bed has two single mattress and there was a big gap in the middle. The outdoor chairs were bent and really hard to sit on. While travelling to the cottage I was notified that there was small leak on the boiler for the hot tub. The leak was quite significant and required leaving the hose on all the time.
- Alasdair (8/5): Fun and functional. - Well appointed and well thought out. Hot tub good fun and private. Good central location. Nice to stay in a traditional terraced house. Kitchen modern and clean. Maybe another uplighter or over shoulder light in lounge.

- Ross (10/5): It’s was lovely and homely, outside area was fab! - Quaint and private Bedroom window blind clatters when window is open, a few too many services overly cluttered. No big deal though.
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional -
- Damien (9/5): Superb - Hot tub was great and the bed was really comfortable.
- Donna (9/5): Wonderful stay, loved it, would definitely return again! - Location, interior and exterior of the accommodation, cleanliness, facilities, homeliness. TV - difficult to locate some terrestrial channels
- Andrea (8/5): Agency SHOULD BE MORE RESPONSIVE with issues while there not after you have left.. - It was a beautiful cottage beds far to soft if you have back problems as we did ..others would love it The agency wasn't responding to issues we had whilst there.. Some correspondence had to be downloaded which I couldn't seem to do ..I emailed back saying that I couldn't open but didn't have a response. One of these was the key code to gain access to property..I had to ring luckily they answered straight away.
- Danny (9/5): Great location, brilliant for just our 2 nights stay. Lovely house that’s nicely furnished and the hot tub is a great bo -

- Carmen (8/5): Lovely little house in a superb location. - Lovely welcome pack of chocs and wine. Central location - everywhere in walking distance. Back yard private, nicely decorated and enclosed - felt safe. Comfortable, firm bed. Well appointed kitchen. Cosy log fire. Helpful host. Not enough hooks in hallway and on back of doors. Toilet in bedroom extremely noisy and also flushed unexpectedly at times. No tv in bedroom. Shower in bathroom - it was difficult to control water temperature.
- Richie_t (10/5): Excellent weekend stay - Excellent cottage, great central location, perfectly clean, with everything you could want for a weekend away. Back yard with outdoor bar area and hot tub is fab.
- Ian (8/5): Barnard Castle gem - Lovely little house with everything you could need. Only downside was the airport style ensuite toilet which was quite loud when flushing during the night
- Bea (10/5): Lovely place, great location and so clean and well thought out! - Really thoughtfully set up, owners were lovely to talk to and whole place was exceptionally clean. It’s in a great location & the hot tub was great! Would definitely recommend for a couple. The only thing would be that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but other than that everything was perfect

- Cindy (8/5): Fantastic accommodation and very tastefully decorated, excellent facilities, brilliant location. Immaculately clean. Wou - Beautifully renovated cottage, loved the decor and all the quirky touches. Very unique and lovely place to stay.
The hot tub was a bonus! The yard was a lovely outdoor space to relax with patio heater too. The toilet upstairs was a bit loud and scary!
Couldn’t fathom the heating, hot downstairs but chilly upstairs.
Didn’t appreciate keep being reminded by messages about check out time.
Only enough wood for one use of hot tub, despite booking for two nights. No wood for wood burner in lounge.
