- Sarah (8/5): Cozy and comfy - Very comfy spot to stay just outside of Athy. Came to Athy for an event at the Shackleton Museum. Willsgrove was cozy, I had a nice room with a shared bathroom. Kit and Michael were lovely hosts, and Michael even drove me to the train station when I had to leave. Good value for the money. Would stay here again.

Tolle Lage, um überall an die Ostküste zu kommen.
Ein gemietetes Auto ist empfehlenswert.
Frühstück im Freien neben dem Maisfeld
- Louise (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Willsgrove House. Our host, Michael, was so hospitable. - The location of the guest house is perfect! So peaceful and tranquil and only a very short drive to Athy town. Ideal location.

- Donal (10/5): Good value - Great value for money. Good budget friendly option if you want to avoid an expensive hotel!
- Marie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wendy (9/5): Superb - Michael the host was great. He couldn't do enough to make you feel at home.
Very knowledgeable about the area too. Nothing
- Breandan (10/5): Exceptional - The owner/ host, Michael is fantastic ! He couldn't do enough for his guests : driving people to the town about 3km away or further afield to sightsee. There was nothing I didn't like
- Gaute (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siobhan (8/5): Very good - Michael our host was an absolute gentleman and extremely personable. He insisted on driving us to a wedding we were attending at Burtown House and offered to collect us. Bedroom was large and comfortable. Although breakfast was not part of our stay Micheal invited us to have some breakfast before we left. He also gave us a beautiful bunch of flowers from his garden. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope to return later in the year. Nothing.
- David (10/5): One to return to - This place is lovely the owner Michael is fantastic. So friendly even offers to drop you in town. Gives loads of tips and advice also makes a great cup of tea.
The bed was so comfortable the bathroom huge. We will go back especially after he informed us in Athy there is a train directly to Dublin.
Best of both worlds
Many Thanks
David and Nicola All good
- Christine (5/5): Had Potential but Sadly Didn't Deliver - Comfy bed. Very helpful member of family drove us into town so we could get some dinner when the roads are windy and very dark! While it was supposed to be accommodation only, as we were leaving we found a message stuck on the outside of our door frame offering us an opportunity to grab some breakfast. By that stage it was too late as we were packed and ready to go. It would have helped enormously if we'd known the night before! Heating was only a small electric heater in a reasonably large room. In the morning the bathroom was freezing cold and we just wanted to forget showers and warm up in the car. Some towels looked like beach towels. Felt intrusive to go into the host's kitchen to be able to make a cuppa, when providing those facilities in the room would have been non-intrusive for all! I have no problem with low key hospitality if it is guest-focused but sadly despite the best intentions this just seemed amateur and maybe lacked real insight into what guests might be looking for.
Maybe it just needed a bit more of a professional touch.

- Elisa (7/5): Good - The owner was welcoming and let us check in early. The room was simple, large and clean. The room was not very comfortable.

- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely stay in the countryside of Athy. Willsgrove house is only a short distance away from Clonard Court Hotel, where we attended a wedding. Michael the host was very accommodating and even picked us up from the hotel in the early hours as we could not get a taxi. Overall, it was a lovely peaceful place to stay with very spacious room and bathroom. Would definitely stay again.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (10/5): Great spot & value - Really clean room/bathroom & such a comfortable bed. Michael the owner is an absolute gent & couldn’t do enough for us. Would return every time when staying in Athy.
