- Katherine (9/5): -
- caroline (9/5): Fantastic stay in a lovely location - Lovely well laid out, beautifully decorated property. The shower was a bit lack luster
- Maria Cristina (10/5): Magnificent - Location, cleanliness, attention from the hosts (dogs treats, chocolate, fruit, milk). Wi-fi connection not strong enough
- Jonathan (9/5): - Excellent accommodation, clean, spacious, parking directly outside. Welcoming treats of brownies and fruit left. Would stay again when in the area.
- Jane (10/5): Lovely, quiet little house with all the facilities you need. - The house is immaculate and modern. Extremely clean and everything was perfect. Will definitely be staying here again. Nothing
- Jimmy (10/5): Fantastic visit despite the typical Pembrokeshire weather, would highly recommend staying at Stonecroft Cwtch - Excellent location, beautifully designed and ideal for myself, my partner and our 2 dogs
- Colin (9/5): Great place to stay for a short break neaar to the coast. - The property was self catering and there was a lovely kitchen.
- Nichols (10/5): - Stonecroft Cwtch is a very nice venue, located in Portfield Gate just outside Haverfordwest. From this location you can get to the coast and other gems of Pembrokeshire.
The accommodation consits of two bedroom, one on the ground floor and the second in the roof area. Kitchen and other facilities are adequate. Facilities are only adequate in my view
- Catarina (9/5): Fantastic place to relax with the family - Quiet, modern, the space was really well used. It provided most relevant things for a daily life.
There were slices of cake for us when we arrived, which was a beautiful detail, and my dog was allowed. She absolutely loved the house!
- Barbara (10/5): -
- Claire (10/5): -
- Marek (10/5): - Very good equipped, comfortable, quiet place.

- Melinda (9/5): Good value, comfortable accomodation. Welcome tea and milk very much appreciated! - Nice location. Peaceful property on the edge of Haverford West. Very low sofa for me. A bit hard to get up. My fault for being 70!
Couldn't get my head around a TV in the bedroom. (See above!)
- John (10/5): Weekend in Wales - Stonecroft is located in a wonderful spot, off the main road. We found it very quiet.
The facilities at Stonecroft are all modern, bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms.
It was centrally located for the trip we’d planned.
The hosts are excellent. It’s not a criticism, just an observation, the drive for parking is a little steep.
Backing up it takes a little effort and care.
- Carla (10/5): 👍 staying there was wonderful 😊 - Everything, amenities, location ,property, it so. was comfy ,and it had everything to welcome us and our dog. The view was exceptional from the front. We weren't sure if we had access to the back ,and it was not safe to leave the double doors open with a dog,as we were by a road, even though it wasn't busy.
- Malcolm (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Liane (10/5): Highly recommended - That treat after a long drive is really amazing, the view is superb. It's mega clean and literally functional.
There was coffee/tea/sugar /milk crisp cake and Easter eggs too 😋🤩 Nothing really
- Audrey (9/5): Very cute apartment, great location - Great facilities, easy to park, great location, lovely view. Very helpful to have a small back garden for the dog early morning and late at night. The snacks left for us was very kind and much appreciated. Mattress was a bit too soft for our liking but we still managed to sleep.
- Charmaine (10/5): Beautiful and very well maintained - Beautiful property Nothing is was great
- Payne (9/5): A peaceful and beautifully designed escape with stunning views, thoughtful touches. - This place so pleasant and perfectly functional. We were absolutely delighted with our stay — the views were stunning, and the thoughtful design of the layout made everything feel both beautiful and effortless. It’s such a joy to stay somewhere so clean and well cared for,
The welcome treats were such a lovely touch Coming home
- Inderjeet (10/5): Cosy place to stay, beautiful and quiet neighbourhood, pet friendly! I strongly recommend - Everything was perfect: very clean, spacious house, yummy cake as a welcome gift, responsive host None
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lawrence (9/5): Superb -
- Jeavons (9/5): Superb - Lovely and clean, well equipped and cosy
- Mintautas (10/5): A Peaceful Stay with Thoughtful Extras - The property was exceptionally clean and well-equipped, with a cosy and warm atmosphere that made it feel like home. The picturesque view added a peaceful touch to our stay, and the thoughtful treats left for us were such a lovely surprise. It’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome! Nothing at all
- Matthew (10/5): Relaxing stay near the Pembrokeshire coast. - Amazing location with a stunning view of the countryside.
Cosy and comfortable with great facilities.
Really relaxing vibe. Nothing
- Donna (8/5): Our stay was excellent - Location, extras ie drinks snacks shampoo body wash etc comfy bed Couldn’t get live tv on television would of like tv in bedroom
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Wendy (9/5): nice cottage - The beds were comfortable. It was within easy access of some beautiful walks on Alltrails. The apartment was very clean and supplied with some nice toiletries. There was milk, fruit, cider and delicious cakes on arrival. It was in a quiet area. Just a couple of minor things. They only supply 2 dishwasher tablets although they did bring 2 more when I asked. there wasn't a dishcloth and no door on one of the bedrooms. I would still book again though
- Dawn (10/5): Absolutely beautiful!! Very clean, it’s got everything you need to hand lovely location. - Everything was perfect!!! The views, the location, and most of all this stonehouse Cwtch
- Jonty (10/5): Exceptional - Was an exceptional stay, in a lovely location. The owners were fantastic throughout.
- Daren (10/5): Perfect for that fresh air break. - Nicely designed and clean with good views of the countryside.
- Melanie (10/5): Perfect - Perfect, clean and comfortable, what more do you want Everything
- Humphreys (10/5): Exceptional - Great quiet location, easy to get to many lovely places.
- Katarzyna (9/5): Superb - The house is comfortable, it has all the facilities needed for a short trip. Unfortunately, at the weekend there are not any buses/Ubers one could take from Haverfordwest to the village where the house is located.
- Johnnyjwilson (9/5): Superb - Really nice and well kept place, very clean, bed was comfy, lots of little extras when I turned up. Location is a little bit remote but I drive so fine and was great as a 'base camp' to travel from to St David's and Tenby. Great facilities and nothing that I was left without. It was so quiet and chill! Lovely little place and would absolutely book again if in the area. The minorest of nit picking here, but the ground floor bedroom has a metal fire door and when it rains / after rainfall water drips from the lip above the door and splashes against the bottom quite loudly. I can be a light sleeper and it took me ages to get back to sleep because of the dripping one night. But again, I am proper nit picking. The access is a little bit sharp and steep, not a problem for my little hatchback but if you have a bigger car, it's worth scoping it out first. I think it's mostly fine but an FYI for anyone reading this. Please don't let these comments put you off though, this is a lovely place! And I would absolutely come back again.
- Sophie (9/5): Clean, comfortable and well managed property - It’s well designed and presented. Lots of nice little details like salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathroom. It’s very comfortable and clean. Location was slightly more isolated than we expected meaning we had to drive for everything.
- Robyn (10/5): Lovely -
- Underwood (10/5): Enjoyable, trouble free break. - Owner accessible and very helpful. Nothing too much trouble. Property had everything we needed.
- Tara (8/5): Great location for the beaches on that side. - Thank you for the milk and treats. Maybe a warning about the steep parking! But seriously nothing that needs noting noting really.
- Naisbitt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): Would love to go again - A lovely clean house in a fantastic location that came with cake.
- Angela (10/5): A beautiful property with exceptional views - we absolutely loved it! - The location was fantastic - only 10 minutes from the coast. Gorgeous views and very peaceful. Everything was perfect except for the shower. This wasn’t very powerful but did the job.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Very comfortable and good value for money. - The property was very clean and comfortable. Nice little touches such as a fruit and cake on the table when we arrived. Good information pack explained everything. Nothing comes to mind.
- Hester (10/5): wonderful - Gorgeous place, well-equipped (modern bathroom and kitchen) and lovely owners. Very private with with superb view (with cows!) and a comfortable bed. For me, the location was brilliant (visiting Skomer and the Pemb coast). It is near a town (+/-5 minute drive) with supermarkets, restaurants, shops etc. I will definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Wales ;)
- Tania (10/5): We were very happy to stay at Stonecroft Cwtch, it feels like home from home and has everything we needed to enjoy our s - Everything was there! We were very impressed with the property. This is our second visit as we were there last year visiting a friend.
- Brankod (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location for visiting nearby sections of coast path (driving to starting points). Also close (again using car) to Haverfordwest centre with good selection of shops and restaurants. Accepts dogs, although you may need to discuss the breed, as they are generally ok with smaller ones (but accepted our lab). Cottage is top. Extremely cosy. Still new. Fully equipped (minus washing machine). Car parking in front of entrance. Nice welcome waiting on the table. To not leave this section empty: the worst thing is kitchen chairs screeching. ;-)
- Debbie (10/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. - Loved how clean it was. Bed was so comfortable. Picturesque views. Cake on arrival which was amazing. Thank you so much for the Prosecco. Lovely birthday treat. A little cold on first night.
- Rhian (10/5): Exceptional - The small touches; such as milk in the fridge, cake on the table alongside some fruit. Communication from the hosts was fantastic and it was a perfect location for my needs
- Niels (10/5): Everything was just perfect... - Everything! This place is a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The house, situated in a peaceful and beautiful place, is very comfortable, cosy and has everything one needs. Nothing!
- Runci (10/5): Definitely THE perfect place to stay! We would come back again - Everything was great, exactly as advertised and as shown in photos. It felt nice & welcoming as soon as we stepped in the lounge. A welcome food/goodies were also a nice touch. We didn't expect all these wonderful varieties of snacks and drinks.
During our stays the weather hasn't been kind to us but we felt cosy and warm inside. Nothing. Only a minor point by no means a negative comment. The mattress is a little soft for our preference (we're more used to a firm mattress) but comfy and clean.
- Michelle (10/5): Would come again - Clean and comfy Nothing
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simpson (10/5): Excellent - Everything was brilliant
- Bronwyn (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely property! Very clean and modern, great decor and furnishings. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the owners were helpful and responsive.
Good location to explore Haverfordwest and surrounding Pembrokeshire.
Would highly recommend.
- Alex (10/5): Fantastic pembrokeshire stay - Lovely little location, in a perfect location. Very near beach and very near local town. The apartment was lovely and well equipped with all you need. Will definitely return.
- Philip (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful views, lovely inside too - the wood is gorgeous! Nothing 🙂
- Heidi (10/5): Beautiful stay in a beautiful location! - Lovely rooms and toasty warm! Nothing really!
- Angela (10/5): Very relaxing break in a lovely place . Definitely book again 10/10 - Property had everything needed for a short day . Decorated high standard . Very comfy bed . The extras were a welcome bonus milk cakes tea coffee treats for the dog . Exceptional Nothing
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Maureen (8/5): Wonderful area property in good location to be able to explore by car. - Property was modern clean comfortable peaceful and many little extras. Only downside I was worried about the safety of my dog as the door opened onto a short drive then directly onto a road. However not much traffic.
- Diane (8/5): Very good - Very clean, well equipped for a short stay. Comfy bed. Nice toiletries and lovely treats. Drive a little steep but otherwise, no complaints
- Jeremy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (9/5): Well presented property, good location for town and coast, everything you need on hand. -
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional - It was in a beautiful location the owners had thought about everything
- Tania (10/5): Lovely little house, perfect for two friends to share - We loved the property. It was modern, clean and exceptionally well equipped. We were out most of the time so didn’t spend much time at the property, but both said we’d definitely visit again. Everything was great, no complaints at all!
- Miranda (10/5): Perfect retreat in a wonderful location. - Everything! The location, a beautifully thought out layout & interior. So comfortable & the small details thought of. Such kind treats left for us, cider & epic homemade brownies. A perfect retreat. Nothing
- Julie (10/5): Wonderful relaxing holiday. Thank you 😊 - Modern, spotlessly clean. Hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Nothing
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place to stay. Lovely touches that made me feel right at home. Delicious homemade cupcakes Nothing
- Jean (10/5): We will return! - This is a brilliant place to stay. The hosts have created a very lovely holiday home, which is exceptionally clean and comfortable.
- Goodwin (9/5): Lovely short stay in this cosy little cwtch! - Lovely little property only a 5-10 minute drive from the town (Haverfordwest) and a 10 minute drive from the coast. Stayed here with my sister for a short break and we loved the layout and decor of this beautiful little cwtch. We came in to homemade lemon cake and cider, which was a nice extra touch and much appreciated. The only minor thing I can think of is that it took a bit of time to get the shower temperature/pressure right (it gets very hot!) - but the place was spotless and I would definitely stay here again.
- John (9/5): delightful property - Spotlessly clean and tidy. Fully equipped and with some very nice welcoming touches Only one slight drawback I could see - the driveway is quite steep and you need to reverse on to it. Not a problem for us in an SUV, but you might have issues if you're driving a low sports car.
- Christine (10/5): A Fabulous Place at the start of our Holiday in Wales! - It was a fabulous place, very stylish and comfortable, such a joy to arrive there and look out over the distant views. A very warm welcome of delicious cake and strawberries, some Welsh beer on the table, alongside some treats for our two dogs. Milk in the fridge for our first cup of tea, with an assortment of teas etc in the cupboard! Everything was spotless, all mod cons and nothing of benefit to us all was overlooked. A super shower, comfortable beds, a dishwasher and many more things that made it a tremendous place to stay. The beach at Broad Haven was lovely for the dogs to run and only about a 10 minute drive away. It was a great place to explore the area, St David's, Tenby, Manorbier, Picton Gardens and Castle, very interesting places and not far to drive. An amazing start to our holiday in Wales!
- Andrew (9/5): Great place to stay - Stayed here for 2 nights following a trip to Skomer Island. Great location, very peaceful and quiet. Property was spotless and had everything you needed and close to ameneties.
Lovely touch with cake and bottle of beer left for us and would recommend and definitely stay again.
- Joanne (10/5): Really fabulous - Everything. Gorgeous place. Great location. Delicious Brownies
- Sarah (10/5): Had a lovely time - The location had stunning views out across the countryside, and was well situated to visit most of Pembrokeshire, we specifically visited to go to Skomer to see the puffins, and this property was about 30 minutes drive. The downstairs flooring is all hard flooring, so if like us you take dogs it is easy to clean. The only carpeted area is the stairs and upstairs bedroom, which we blocked off to stop pooch going up. Well equipped and nice comfy bed.
We didn't cook in the property, because there are some nice places nearby to visit for meals, we chose Little Haven and Broad Haven, and had a takeaway delivered. Nothing
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Belia (10/5): Wonderful! - So clean, spacious and nice decorated appartment with a very comfortable bed. Everything is so brand new. Nice shower amenities, all the kitchen essentials you need and even dog biscuits, a beer and cake! We enjoyed all the little extra's. Close to supermarket and perfect location to explore Pembrokeshire. Barafundle bay beach was great on a sunny day!
- Hywel (10/5): Amazing find definitely returning here - it was recently build to an amazing standard, the photos dont do it justice, the views were amazing too. Everything was thought of,
not to mention the home made lemon cake on arrival yummy.
Very comfy bed and spotlessly clean. Nothing
- Martyn (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Excellent value for money. Comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Spotlessly clean my wife said the pillows were the best she's ever slept on. Hope to stay again. Cant fault anything
- Reinet (10/5): Lovely! Highly recommended! - What a wonderful place, so very well thought out and good use of the space! The enclosed patio was perfect with a dog! It felt like home from the moment I walked in, helped by the homemade cake, milk in the fridge and dog biscuits! I will go here again!
- Mykola (9/5): Superb -
- June (10/5): Great little place - Lots of free extras, everything I needed. Clean and modern. Great base for exploring surrounding area. Nothing really. Maybe the addition of a non slip mat for the shower as tray gets slippy when wet.
- Antony (10/5): Lovely stay at stonecroft - This property wants for nothing, we had a great stay, immaculately clean and very comfortable, amazing views and ample parking, Dan and Liz are the perfect hosts, very friendly and always eager to help with any information you might need, can't recommend this place highly enough,
Superb, Book with confidence. I didnt like it when I finished Liz's Chocolate cake,
Thanks again Liz.
- Tracy (10/5): fantastic quirky find loved it - everything is exceptional here, location, view and the property is stunning. Has everything you need. Has a loft room and lower ground room
- Gill (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is quite new so feels fresh & clean Nothing
- Nash (10/5): A very happy experience all round. - A very convenient location in order to access all coastal walks, public bridleways and places of interest.
Safe , beautiful neighbourhood in rural situation but with easy access to Tesco nearby and excellent eateries !
Quiet at night for a good night's sleep in a very comfortable, fresh feeling bed with comfortable pillows.
Dan and Liz have provided everything required for an enjoyable experience, a well heated apartment ,the layout of which is faultless ,cooking facilities/equipment are more than adequate and despite dogs being made more than welcome the living accommodation is spotless. The washing /toilet facilities are modern and have a very good water pressure ( something I have found lacking in past accomodation).
I had no wi-fi or mobile device problems and the TV reception was problem free.
Dan and Liz are very friendly and helpful with a cheerful disposition and Liz's homemade cake is to die for!
To top it all your parked vehicle is off the road, immediately outside the entrance to the property so it's viewable at all times and easily accessible for packing/unpacking for days out and convenient access for your dog.
There's also a bench outside the front of the building so that you can sit and enjoy the rural view and listen to the local birdsong.
To the rear of the apartment is a small courtyard which Liz and Dan are about to make the finishing touches to.
I was travelling alone with my dog but the property would comfortably accommodate four people as there are 2 good sized double bedrooms.
I would definitely stay again if I get the chance to do so. Nothing to add here.
- Jochen (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place. Very clean
- Tracyk87 (9/5): Superb -
- Kinton (10/5): absolutely spot on - spot on brand new little place
- Ella (9/5): great place to unwind -
