• Maria (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Rumah Kingfisher. It’s peaceful, close to nature, and exactly the kind of relaxing environment we were hoping for. We were a big group of nine for a family gathering, and everyone was very comfortable throughout our stay. The staff were always nearby and ready to help. We especially appreciated the delicious breakfasts each morning, and the team went above and beyond to cater for our group’s complex dietary needs (allergies and special preferences). This was our first time renting a villa in Bali, so we were a little nervous at first, but the experience was so smooth and positive that we hope to return again. Highly recommended. Nothing. Any time we needed something, a quick message on WhatsApp was all it took, and any issues were resolved almost immediately.
• Sean (10/5): Exceptional - Rumah Kingfisher was a fantastic place to stay, it was beautiful, relaxing and clean, with a superb breakfast. The hosts were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone wanting a luxury break in ubud. We are looking forward to booking again!
• Georgina (10/5): Do not hesitate to book Rumah Kingfisher if wanting to stay in Ubud. Chika is an amazing host and nothing was too much t - Chika is an amazing host. The villa is a 10 min motorcycle ride from central ubud and it’s worth being away from the hustle to relax. Chika & Dave have thought of everything to make guests stay a wonderful experience. Our highlight was the garden and pool which made it very hard to leave to explore Ubud! The sounds of the jungle surround you. The breakfast was brilliant as was the meal Chika prepared for us after a long day out. Our whole family didn’t want to leave ❤️
• Monique (9/5): An incredibly beautiful experience for my family and I -Komang was the best!! - The view, the pool, the breakfast, the staff, the property itself, the goldfish area, lots of space. Should have mosquito nets for every bed, ceiling fans in each bedroom, air conditioning for the middle and top levels, it would be better to have the option to close the doors for the middle level.

• Cuanna (10/5): Fabulous Family Experience - We had a sublime stay at the beautiful Rumah Kingfisher. We were all very excited when we arrived. Shown though the amazing home and tropical gardens to the lush river valley views. The home is an extraordinary mix of traditional Indonesian and contemporary design with lots of comfortable indoor and outdoor sitting and eating areas. We stayed at Rumah Kingfisher to celebrate our anniversary and the whole house and property were specially decorated with tropical flowers throughout. Chika and her husband Dave clearly put in the extra effort to make our stay special. The highlight of the trip was a wonderful, authentic, and lovingly prepared Indonesian dinner that exceeded all of our expectations. Chika and her staff did an amazing job! In the evening we enjoyed our time relaxing in the specially designed fire pit area. The next day the kids loved playing in the pool and visiting koi pond... they also enjoyed the PS5 and Netflix. In short we had a magical time at Rumah Kingfisher! We didn't get to stay long enough.
• Brian (9/5): The Kingfisher is nature in balance with great cuisine - The best thing about this property are the Hosts Chika and Dave ! It’s nice to have an English speaking host for those who are not familiar with the area. Dave was a wealth of information with great humor while his wife is an incredible chef. She and her wonderful staff prepared breakfast and dinner that were better than anywhere one could eat in town at a great value. The property landscaping looks like your own botanical gardens surrounded by a beautiful pool and nature. This property is just far enough from the hustle of town but yet close enough to do everything. Great location. I highly recommend this home for families or adults traveling together. My only regret is that we were not able to stay for a longer period of time. Thank you Dave & Chika !!
• Rajya (10/5): Exceptional - The owners are attentive and accommodating. We had to change our dates a couple of times, they were patient and timely in their communication. They also helped us in connecting with reliable drivers who took us around Ubud. The staff is also great. They cooked fresh breakfast every day and kept the house very clean. The house has a very beautiful view and is peaceful. The pool and outdoor shower are the best.
